Ash had kept rocking Jinx through the conversation. But she had been so focused on listening that she hadn't realized the lights were disappearing.

She looked up and realized they were leaving.

"Wait! I can help both of you. That's my job. I'm a doctor. My job is to fix people. I just need to know a little more. Don't go yet!"

It's some sort of spirit, a conscious entity with no physical form. Not a ghost. Also, not very cohesive. It seems to have been badly damaged, probably lost a lot of its essence, leaving it sort of... scattered?

She burned tin and the nausea came back. The added nausea wasn't as bad as before, but with the bit leftover from burning the pewter... Plus, with the tin enhancing her senses...
