Lark looked at the assembled ruffians and outlaws. He hadn't seen ol' JNV around, which was suspicious. Hollerin' to headquarters perhaps?

Not sure whether 2 or 3 elims are more likely, because they can just be balanced by giving one side more or less thugs.

Hi everyone! I am the impartial moderator for this game. If you have any concerns, please feel free to shoot me a PM or write something in your GM PM. And now back to the regularly scheduled murder party!

Okay so...reading through the rules...the smoked gun doesn't state you can kill someone, only that you have to use it to not be killed.

@Kasimir just confirming does the smoked gun give you a kill action? Or is it basically a get rid of it or you die, basically roleblocking you?

So there's a bad assumption in here I should clarify: I deliberately didn't say anything about action slots because this game has no action limits. Gun down someone with the Hidden Gun and NK at the same time! Action track and gun down someone at the same time! And so on.

Anyway the Smoking Gun, which I should've said more clearly but I was cribbing off QF7 at that time - it's a oneshot kill. The player who has it can shoot someone for that cycle. In fact, if you don't use it, it will be used on you.

Hi!

Okay time to vote on someone random; that seems to be a theme here.

Ravenclawjedi42

Rajib puts a hand to their chest. “Excuse me?! I know I’m new here, but that’s no reason to…in fact, my being new here works against me, as I know hardly anything about this part of the Roughs. Abeloth (The Wandering Wizard) was looking kind of suspicious, being the first one to talk and immediately suspecting Mud.”

Hmmm I'd prefer to kill a inactive today because it will murder our late game momentum if all the talkative people die.

*sigh*

RESURRECT CONTRIBUTION CRUSADE!

RISE FROM THY EARLY GRAVE!

LEADS US INTO A NEW ERA OF ACTIVITY!

and yes this does mean votes are generally removed if you become active :P

I just realized Violets worse case scenarios are off cuz of the gun and the lynch, as 3 will die every cycle guaranteed assuming elims submit a kill each time.

If there are two elims with worse case it goes:

Spoiler

After cycle 1 - 2:5(7)

After cycle 2 - 2:2 (4)

Lylo or game end depending on who rands the gun

No way there's only one elim, unless they are koloss ig. Twos more likely. But I think it is quite likely that there's at least 1 koloss village as well because that would possibly give another cycle in a 2 elim team.

@Fifth Scholar

Hello, I was on a 12-hour shift and thus found it rather difficult to be here :P

2 Elims with one koloss-blooded makes the most sense to me if I were doing distro. Three lives, two votes. 3-7 is way too bad a starting ratio unless all the Village are koloss-blooded or something :P  Village could feasibly have anywhere from one to three koloss-blooded and I think there’s a decent argument for each of those.

Don’t find the CC too helpful, especially in something as fast as a QF, so Sart. Seen anything else you care to point out?

Elims each get a kill?

No, there's one elim kill, one gun kill, and the lynch vote which adds up to three.

Oh... It's over C3 for us.

Not necessarily. That's worse case scenario. It's quite likely that we hit an elim in 6 kills, even if two of them are controlled by the elims.

It's been a problem in recent games so I though it best to provoke some reaction :P

Don't have many suspicions or time to read so I'll be leaving now and back for a last minute unexplained vote :P:ph34r:

What is there to read? xD

It's basically just been poke votes and thoughts on distro...

Yes, this is a problem, hence my desire to apply some lethal pressure to Sart. I’ll be back in six hours but will miss EoD so I’d prefer we start consolidating on people.

Alrighty. Wait, what happens if you try to shoot the GM?

I understand the sentiment, but I'll note that JNV has still not posted. One benefit of a Crusade is the Deer in the Headlights effect it can cause in evil players. Considering that JNV has been on the site, but hasn't posted yet, I'm keeping my vote where it's at.

Consolidation is nice, but it depends on where it goes. I'd prefer not to get voted out on Cycle one. Any other suspects? I'm a little suspicious of Experience, but as I've said, my vote isn't moving yet.

Of everyone’s first posts, I think Exp had the most elimmy one. I didn’t love Violet or Fifth’s, but I think Violet not knowing how the kill works is v (or at least I think the way they asked is v) and I’m not killing Fifth today

Don’t really want to vote Exp based off that vibe but it is the vibe I get. Also don’t want to undermine Fifth’s pressure.

@Violet do you have any previous forum mafia experience, of any kind?

A bit irl but Most mafia games went like:

"Cooper, who do you suspect?"

"Dylan, because I dont like him"

so lets just say no

Well, I was going to randomly vote for funzies, but it then randed the new player then myself. Which I guess means we're using roleplay reasoning.

"I'll vote to off Mud-die boy (Experience) because this here town ain't big enough for the two of us external physical allomancers. And ma pa always said, ask questions later, shoot first. At least, I think that's what ma ol pa always said.

Ok, not sure if I'll be able to be on at rollover, so gonna put some thoughts now.

Current VC is:

Wiz (2): Pyro, Raven

Sart (2): Mat, Fifth

Mat (1): Exp

Raven (1): Violet

JNV (1): Sart

Non voters are TKN, JNV, Wiz

@The Known Novel and @JNV got anything to say?

A tie probably isn't the best for us, but I'm not really feeling Wiz or Sart rn. If I had to pick one to vote, it'd prob be Sart.

Ravens response to Wiz's vote reads village to me.

Mat seems okay. Mostly villagery vibes, but idk.

Ig for now I'll leave my vote where it is.

Nope. This gets my vote moving. JNV. Experience. If you think someone's got village vibes, why keep your vote on them? That makes no sense.

I meant mostly neutrally vibes, wrote the wrong thing.
