Mike wants to be away from everyone, but before turning away looks towards Aora. "Are you feeling alright?"

@Through The Living Glass

"Yes, I think so. Thank you," she said again. She looked around.

"Um... before you go, would you happen to know where we are?"

58 minutes ago, The Aspiring Archivist said:

"Nothing..."

Aora doubted that.

"We're about a 20 minute walk from a town that way," Mike gestures in the direction of the town, "I don't know what it's called though."

Rye quietly sneaked off to explore the area. This was not going the way he'd intended. After finding a place where he could be alone, he pulled a small golden bowl from under his robes and placed it on the ground. He reverently poured water into it from a flask, then bowed as he felt a presence emerge.

"My liege, I have no idea what I'm doing."

"Your bluntness is appreciated, servant. Remember our bargain. Eternal life is not something I give without proper compensation. If you fail to pay our price within three days..." The disembodied voice laughed in an evil fashion. "A grim fate awaits you, Rye."

Rye tried to push that thought out of his head. "Are you sure this place even has ANYTHING to do with sacrifices AT ALL??? From what I've seen, it's just a friendly, if suspicious, group of people."

"It matters not, servant, but your tone does. Do not speak this way to your master. You will give me blood, and I have no issue with it being your own. Now go, and find a sacrifice for me. Try to integrate yourself into their society."

"Apologies, master. Thank you for your generosity. Farewell." The water in the bowl suddenly quivered, then evaporated into steam, briefly forming a skull before puffing away. Rye sighed and began walking back to the group, hoping no one had overheard.

Mike notices Erin's focus on himself and trails off. "What?" He asks them.

"Yeah, I know." He looks back towards the group. "We really need to go, were really sorry and it was nice to meet you." He starts to walk towards the town and makes sure Erin follows him.

They did, drawing up next to him. "That was a lot."

So are we saying this is magically a new planet, meaning that the town might not be there? Or did everyone else just teleport to the world that Mike and Erin were already on?

I believe everyone else just showed up.

"All of the people appearing without explanation... It made me worried about why. And I thought about that... the spirit that took me over because it wanted my magic energy."

I can't remember, does Mike know about the spirit and her being healed but losing the magic?

Yes. When they met she was like a day away from dying, but he healed her. And then he had to deal with the spirit that took over her body and nearly destroyed her. The magic is still within her, but she can't use it.

Aora watched the three depart. "Huh. Okay then."

She looked towards the town. She didn't want to follow the other group, but it wasn't like she had anywhere else to go.

She turned to the other three behind her. "So... who are you all and why are you here?" This certainly is a reoccurring theme.

"I'm Tena. And... I don't honestly know why I'm here. But I am."

"Rye's the name, and I'm here for... purposes." He beamed energetically, and, I will say, somewhat suspiciously.
