Arranis smiles at him before goofilly saying, "No clue" shrugging his shoulders in a somewhat annoying way. Kicking some of the snow at his feet

Erin took a step forward, reaching out to touch Astra. Unusually, she was able to, giving the spren a light poke.

Mike watches curiously, making sure that they don't lose contact with him so Erin has a constant source of healing, just in case something were to happen.

Astra gives way slightly at the touch, folding much like rubber. She laughs, and zips around the new person. Leaving slightly glowing halos. Arranis grins, "What were your names again?"

"yes, well it has happened every now and then" Arranis explains. "It feels like some higher beings do this thing to me sometimes" he muses. "Maybe it's because of my unnaturally long lifespan" he shrugs. "I want to know your names so I can refer to you as something else than just another person"

Erin glanced at Mike, feeling uncomfortable between this person and Mike himself, who had been an impostor for an uncertain amount of time.

With all that has happened recently, Mike doesn't trust the man and isn't willing to put Erin at risk. 

"Well, it's a pleasure to meet you, but I'm afraid we must be on our way." He lightly tugs on Erin's hand in the opposite direction, but hesitates. "My name is Mike." He then starts to move away from Arranis without taking his eyes off of him.

"...I guess so. There was a fire at the inn we were at, and he used ice powers to get out. But he didn't really seem to care if I followed him."

Mike vaguely remembered watching the burning building in the dreamy state he had been trapped in.

He sighs, then begins explaining, "Who you met, that's my twin brother. We're not actually identical twins, but he can change his features to make it so we seem like it. My family all have different powers, mine is actually pretty lame compared to most of them. My brother, he can take people's powers and add them to his own. He's basically on an endless quest to gain as many supernatural abilities as possible. And that's why he kidnapped me and took my place."

Mike's heart dropped slightly, and he reached his hand out to theirs. "The same way you knew this time. Something will feel off. He's no master actor. Plus, he has no reason to return. He got what he came for."
