Rye held a tiny fly in his hand, looking at it intently. "This is for the best," he said. He dropped it into the golden bowl of pure water in front of him. "Is this sacrifice enough?" he asked. 

"Not nearly enough at all, my servant," the voice sounded from within the bowl. "If you want my favor, you will need something... Bigger. Human blood will satiate my craving. Bring me it."

"Of course, master," replied Rye. He scampered away.

Two Days Later...

Rye looked around. Was this the right place? The area sure did give off sacrificial vibes. He needed a human to offer to his master, if he were to gain immorality.

Aureole noticed the newcomer and waved. "Hello! Want some fruit?"

Arranis also notices the newcomer. Scampering, not a good sign, he turns back to watching the area, I will have to keep an eye on that one
