sleeper shrinks. "nonononono anyone BUT HIM" hes just sitting there, watching a deadly blade fall, its shine blinding his eyes, and he barely blocks the blade from hitting his heart, instead hitting oh so very close. 

"YOU STILL CAN'T GET ME, CAN YOU, LITTLE ONE?" the thing says.

Altair was racing towards sleeper at full speed, but backed away when his arms turned red.

Xiylna floats down to the ground. “Hmm,” she says softly, touching the grass experimentally. Her ‘hand’ goes through it. “I miss the grass,” she says softly. “Soft grass. Green grass. And the sun. I miss feeling the sun on my face. I miss having a face.” Then she shudders. “No, no, I don’t. I don’t miss the pain. I don’t miss bleeding. I’m glad I’m not human,” she says decidedly, and floats back into the air, where she immediately begins setting corpses alight and vaporizing bone creatures.

The shovel man rises into the air, encircled by rings of crackling violet energy.

The slain bone-corpses faded into shadows, melting away into the ground.

A single figure walks out of the forest, a thin man with blond hair wearing a suit and tie. His eyes are shadowed in an unnatural way, and the world seems to bend around him as he approaches.

“I’m stopping them fine,” Xiylna snapped, destroying more undead. “And I’m not darkness. I’m not alive, not dead. These,” she gestures at the monsters around them, “are beasts with bodies, but no soul. I’m just a solo with no body.” She shivers, looking at the man. “That’s darkness. Go destroy him.”
