Xe pulls out a bag of what is quite possibly candy "you want one? Don't worry, I did not poison them, probably." They say as they unwrap what seems to be a peppermint.

Bennu tried not to think about how high they were as he climbed out of his seat. He also ignored his slight nausea. Shia was already introducing herself to another group of people so he wandered around looking for Dr. Frialio. It would be rude not to introduce himself

He walked over to a group of gentlemen having a conversation. 

"Would any of you be Dr. Frialio?" He asked.

"Oh, uh, thanks," Bennu said. Did his breath smell bad? He nervously put the peppermint in his mouth.

"My name is Bennu Caspinson, I'm an astrobiologist. Fetu said we would be working together."

Frialio eyes start to gleam "Ah, biology... so... what is your specialty? Is this your first time off world? What can you do? Have any of the proteins you were trying to make, study, or use spontaneously combusted? Have you ever wanted to burn your lab? Would you describe yourself as dangerous? If you make a biological weapon would you give it to me? Have you ever worked under a mentally unstable Ai? Have ever worked under someone who is 200 years old and know human biochemistry extremely well, oh and is very unstable?"

"I like to study evolution, it fascinates me the most, this is my first time off world, I'm a bit nervous actually, I'm proficient in biology, I have a few other skills but I'm not sure how useful they'll be on Namaka, I've never had a protein spontaneously combust on me, I haven't ever wanted to burn my lab down, but I do get pretty frustrated sometimes, I do go to the gym but I've never been trained in combat so I don't think I'd be much of a threat, I would probably never make a biological weapon because it is unethical and illegal, if I did find myself in that situation I don't think I would give it to you, I have never worked under a mentally unstable Ai, I have also never worked under someone who is 200 years old as that is physically impossible for a human being, unless of course your referring to the aforementioned Ai, I have never really studied human biochemistry in depth though I'm sure its quite fascinating." Bennu said without skipping a beat.

Dr. Frialio was going to be a very interesting person to work under.

The elevator continued on its path upwards for several more minutes, and the Earth continued to curve below, revealing it's beauty as the structure moved higher and higher up the beanstalk.

Eventually, the view of the Earth below was swallowed up by metal again as the elevator reached the top of the beanstalk. The viewing windows were obscured. The elevator came to a halt, and after a short wait, aides began leading the passengers off the elevator.

They were led from the corridors of the Beanstalk complex out into the open city.

Pacific Peak, as the city had come to be known, stood at the top of the Pacific Beanstalk, opposite to Seaport. The city was contained within a circular area where the Beanstalk met the Orbital Ring. It extended for many miles in every direction, with the Beanstalk's apex in the very center. Spread out from the Beanstalk complex was an array of buildings, parks, businesses, and homes, all arrayed in a utilitarian pattern. Hovercraft flew in their designated zones above automated cars that did the same. Greenery was common; trees lined the sides of many roads and filled the yards of many homes. There were even a few small lakes and ponds in the outer portions of the city, and a few wisps of clouds hung below the huge glass dome that encompased the entire thing, miles from the "ground". On opposite sides of the circular city were huge gates that led to the ring segments on either side.

The colonists were led to a series of large public transportation hovercraft. The bus-like machines used powerful propellers to fly through the air.

"This will take you to the spaceport," one aide explained. "There you'll board the shuttle that will take you to the Hawai'iloa."

Riyu stepped onto the hovercraft, somewhat dazed. There was too much to take in. It was overwhelming, he wanted to shut it out, and yet he couldn’t stop staring.

Ladcral walked over to Riyu. "Hey, you look kind of... not... good. Want some jelly beans?" He held out his hand, full of small marshmallows. "I don't think we're supposed to have them though."
