TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted August 14, 2014 Author Posted August 14, 2014 Crap's 'bout to get REAL, guys. 2
Edgedancer he/him Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Thanks. Anyway, Lightwards is trying to send Nighthound on a land-claiming mission, solidifying their new rule over southeast Portland. If riding dinosaurs through a city and forcing people to swear fealty sounds like fun to you, go for it. If not, Nighthound' exactly the kind of person to reject the mission outright or offer aggressive counter-offers. About how many dinosaurs are we talking about? One way or another I´m sold. 2
Kobold King he/him Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 About how many dinosaurs are we talking about? One way or another I´m sold. Just Phteven and two allosaurs by default, but you could write in a line about Nighthound asking for more and Lightwards grudgingly granting the request. (But not the big rex. She's mine. ) According to Mailw's map, the area we are now seizing makes up CorpseMaker's old, presumably abandoned territory as well as that unclaimed box surrounding Powell Butte Nature Park. This would put the Wacko Brigade on equal terms with Thoughttown, CorpseMaker, and Hivemind in terms of political power. It would make them an effective, solid force within the Portland heavy hitters. 1

Voidus Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 I think you're underestimating the political power granted by bowler hats, we far outstrip their puny non-hatted powers! 2

(and starting with about the next in game day we can also drop gigantic diamonds as bombs.) 3

He's right, you know. Why do you think those men at Tammany Hall had so much power during the Gilded Age? It wasn't because of their smarts. 2
Voidus Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Also, T-rex + bowler hat = we win ALL of the epics. 2
Edgedancer he/him Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Hey, we do have a certain someone who can drop bombs as bombs you know! Yes but they don´t have that much bling. Anyway, now we know what happend to Oregon. (and Then Sightline teleported TT on the museum island.) 1
Kobold King he/him Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 (edited) Anyway, now we know what happend to Oregon. I wonder why Megan was so upset about the whole thing--she should have been gushing over the sheer awesomeness. Anyway, is it TwiLyght's turn? Edited August 14, 2014 by Kobold King 1
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted August 14, 2014 Author Posted August 14, 2014 Hey, we do have a certain someone who can drop bombs as bombs you know! Funtimes will carpet bomb them both to oblivion. Or the nearest carpet store. Yes but they don´t have that much bling. Anyway, now we know what happend to Oregon. Dinosaurs, bowler hats, and terrible beards.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted August 14, 2014 Author Posted August 14, 2014 Is it? I thought Edge was next.

Kobold King he/him Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 I suppose it would make more sense for Nighthound to get out of the museum before it starts to rise. Run like the wind, Bull's Eye.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted August 14, 2014 Author Posted August 14, 2014 Run like the wind, Bull's Eye. While making this face, right? Please tell me he's making this face. 2
Kobold King he/him Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 While making this face, right? Please tell me he's making this face. Well duh. What other face is so perfectly suited for forcibly seizing control of a city populace? 1
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted August 14, 2014 Author Posted August 14, 2014 OPEN YOUR EYES, OREGON, AND LOOK UPON THE FACE OF FEAR! LOOK AT IT!!!!! 2
Voidus Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 That's not terrifying, now make it an Inquisi-bullseye and you might have something.(Yes, I'm mildly obsessed with spiking things in the eyes) 2

Kobold King he/him Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Please tell me Nighthound's back is to the museum, so his speech to the people can conclude with the Natural History museum dramatically rising into the air behind him. I'll update the map later today. Just wait until Mobius makes the island into it's own universe all by itself. I like to think that Megan was mistaken; Oregon wasn't really destroyed, but was sealed off from the rest of America by an irritable Möbius. The Epics therein were trapped in an inescapable, sealed off state for the rest of their lives, locked in a never-ending battle. 1

He´s not directly in front of the museum but close enough to let them see it. Honestly, I was tempted to have it rise at the end of my post but that honor goes to TwiLyght. I wonder what would be worse. 2
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted August 14, 2014 Author Posted August 14, 2014 It's in the air, but I left it vague as to whether it rose at the end of his speech, or as he was terrorizing the populace.
