I mean, the Hemalurgic Chart. An Aluminum Spike "Removes All Powers".  That makes it unique in two ways: It has a single, absolute effect with no logical room for variation, and it's the only spike that doesnt "Steal" anything so a 2nd implantation is pointless, and it is still an open question of whether aluminum Spikes (or metalminds, for that matter) actually get Invested, or if they just continue to blank, block, and/or ground out Investiture.

That alone does not mean you can spike the donor anywhere and have it work.
From what we know there are 3 parts to Hemalurgy: Intent, Spike, Bind-point. You need specific Intent, specific spike and specific Bind point.

Not anywhere at all, just any functional bind point to get H-Aluminum's single and fairly absolute effect.  Which means mostly means you have to hit a lot of the same vital areas as a kill shot (either eye, the heart, etc) but also at most major joints, between most ribs, a huge cluster around the heart and out to the sternum, and a trail of them down every limb.  Technically a shot to the earlobe will do it, though you're more likely to rip through on that one.  In era1 they were aware of something between two and three hundred of them, and there are likely to be more once they study it with modern everything.

And I dispute any functional bind point will work, considering other things we know of Hemalurgy.

Im open to suggestion of what sort of variation might be possible.

twinborn allomantic and feruchemical chromium, letting you get rid of his stormlight and compound fortune, a-steel and a-iron which will allow you to attack him from a distance and dodge more easily, also f-steel to help dodge and f-gold to heal in case he manages to hit you

or twinborn allomantic and feruchemical nicrosil, allowing you to compound investiture and wield nightblood for as long as you desire, also a-atium and f-speed to help avoid being hit, a-pewter to help break through the shardplate, and f-gold in case he manages to hit you although since you have atium you could probably replace it with a-chromium to wipe out his stormlight or a-steel to help move around

Leeching would work, but you can't leech through a Shardplate, so you need to get rid of it first. And it isn't instantaneous, it takes time to fully leech someone as invested as Radiant.

You can feed Nightblood with any type of investiture, including attributes stored in metalminds, If you're tapping speed, Nightblood will feed on that speed leaving you mostly with nothing. Feruchemy is a low invested art, there isn't much investiture being moved around compared to Stormlight or Breaths, so you would need a lot of attributes to wield Nightblood. Like a lot more.

And please, try to avoid double posting, you can use the "edit" option at the bottom of your post, to add something new or change it. :)
