If part of the Stormfather has absorbed Honor’s Cognitive Shadow, I have questions about this.

Does that mean that as Dalinar swears more ideals, the Stormfather will gain more of Honor’s memories and Persona, the way Syl has regained more of herself based on her relationship to Kaladin?

I would guess not, although I could be wrong. Unlike most spren that can’t think in the Physical realm without a bond, the SF seems to mostly gain a more human perspective from his bonds. He already had all his memories before the bond was initiated.

since the Storm Father is a bondsmith spren, it is very possible that the Nahel bond affects them slightly differently, the Nightwatcher for example seems to be able to think fairly well in the physical realm and the Sibling is capable of communication and can tell what the fused are trying to do with her.

it could also be argued that the bondsmith spren, or at least the Sibling and Storm Father are more connected to the physical by default because of the highstorm and Urithiru

I believe the reason none of the Bondsmith Spren have ever provided Shardblades is that all three of those spren (unlike non-godspren) have a native Physical Realm Form (The Storm itself, the Tower, and The Nightwatcher's body (or perhaps the whole valley and it's vines.)

I think that Tanavast's cognitive shadow doesn't include his memories, I think memories likely lie in the spiritual realm. So I do think that the stormfather will (and is) absorb(ing) more of Tanavast's persona, ideals, and opinions. So not memories, but Tanavast's Identity. I think we already have reason to believe that they speak with the same voice, I believe in WOK we see that Tanavast's voice is the same as the Stormfather's, albeit less booming.

So yeah I think that the Stormfather has absorbed Tanavast's Identity along with a major portion of Honor. And we know from Mistborn for instance that Identity does not include one's memories.

Do you guys think its possible that the Shard Honor could be brought back by a Bondsmith with enough of Honor's Investure?

Well, it is theorized that Dalinar will pick up Honor Shard at some point, which requires fixing it somehow. This WoB suggests that Bondsmiths weren't able to have that powers before, but now Dalinar is a bondsmith unchained, he can do much more that Bondsmiths used to. So who knows.

Can Dalinar hypothetically repair Honor's Shard or this is beyond his powers?

Brandon Sanderson

This would not be within the scope of his powers, traditionally. (Though I should note that what it even means to 'repair Honor's Shard' is subject to debate.)

Skyward Pre-Release AMA (Oct. 4, 2018)

And this WoB says it's possible for a Bondsmith now to fuse parts of two Shards together

Stormfather once said that "Three of sixteen ruled but now the Broken One reigns" and that "Odium reigns", is not crazy to think that Odium is the Broken One. My question is, could be possible to fuse Odium's shard (without Rayse) with the remanents of Honor (his Cognitive Shadow) in order to create a new whole Shard? Could Dalinar do something like that? He would be uniting them (two Shards, one of them supposed to be the Broken One and the other that we actually now is a bit broken).

Brandon Sanderson

[That] is possible

General Reddit 2020 (June 18, 2020)

So it's likely that Bondsmith can unite Shard of Honor.
