Blue-phoenix186 Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 What did harmony do with all of the obligators and nobles? After The Catacendre did harmony just put them somewhere else on Scadrial and if so wouldn’t that be a threat to the basin?

They stayed in the same place and their decendents are the majority of the upper class in the basin in era 2 (including, Wax, Marasi, Steris and a lot of other characters).

Also note that in AoL Ch 4, we get this tidbit (emphasis mine): Spoiler “You imply,” Waxillium said, “that one purpose of this wedding dinner is not in who is invited, but who is not.” “Precisely,” [Steris] said. “And, in order to fulfill that purpose, everybody else must be invited. The Yomens are powerful, even if they do believe in Sliverism. Horrid religion. Imagine, revering Ironeyes himself. So, at the Yomen ball, we learn they still believe in the religion of the Steel Ministry (now called Sliverism) and revere the last Inquisitor. Though we don't have many details beyond that. . .

So it's the best evidence that Harmony did nothing with obligators. Noble families in era 2, like House Tekiel are also the descendants of Tekiels from era 1, proving Harmony did nothing to nobles as well. 1
cometaryorbit Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 Yeah, all the people who survived (all five storage caverns) ended up in the same place (which became Elendel). The nobles continued to keep track of family lines. 1
