So the idea is that there is a musical done of the first three books of stormlight, so a trilogy of musicals, and each character and/or group has their own style of music that they sing their songs in. Bridge 4 would be a hip hop dance group, while the Lopen is just rapping off to the side. Syl would be singing really happy upbeat music trying to cheer Kaladin up, while he occasionally adds pessimistic comments. The battles on the shattered plains would be large scale dance-offs with the shardbearers being in the spotlight. As a side note, the battle of the tower is a literal tower with each floor being a disco dance floor, and at the top Dalinar and Eshonai have an epic dance off Shallan would usually be singing pop music stuff, but in her flashbacks, creepy lullabies sung by kids play in the background Szeth would sing like, heavy metal or something (It makes a point that szeth has screams in his head in the book, so might as well play into that) The chasmfiends are chinese dragon style costumes, but more chasmfiend-ish Adolin would totally have smooth jazz, but when he's supposed to be investigating Sadeas' murder, it swtiches to film noir style music. Dumb Taravangian would be singing country music Dalinar would sing operatic songs all the time (the next part has a much more macabre theme to it, so read at your own risk) Spoiler In his flashbacks of being the bloodthirsty warlord, the song(s) are done in the style of "In Summer" by Olaf from frozen this is all supposed to be a comedy, but played straight. Feel free to add whatever, this was just a random thing I thought would be fun to add here 1

Although, maybe Javert (Les Miserables) is a better comparison... Similar to how "Javert's Suicide" is just "ValJean's Soliloquy" with different lyrics.
