Channelknight Fadran Posted January 19, 2023 Author Posted January 19, 2023 Oh. My apologies. Are you haunting her?

Channelknight Fadran Posted January 19, 2023 Author Posted January 19, 2023 You know. Like a ghost does.
xinoehp512 he/him Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 6 minutes ago, Channelknight Fadran said: You know. Like a ghost does. Ilvaite furrowed her faintly transparent eyebrows. "But I'm not a ghost."
xinoehp512 he/him Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 25 minutes ago, Channelknight Fadran said: You aren't? "No," replied Ilvaite firmly, all whilst floating a few inches off the ground.
Channelknight Fadran Posted January 19, 2023 Author Posted January 19, 2023 Ah. In that case, forget the permit thing.

Lightning shuffled around a bit, then stared at the scales. "Hmm... You think this scale was specifically magical? I don't think my kind of dragons can grant such fire abilities... But dragons can be different across worlds." He moved his tail from side to side, careful not to hit Klade - or a glass of wine, that was on the floor for some reason. "As can humans, I guess. Could be interesting to see what variations there are." "Every part of a dragon is magical. Their fire is made by that magic, and now that I've had that magic embedded into me, I have access to some uses of their magic." Klave shrugged. "That's about as much as I know."
Random Bystander she/her Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 "So, uh, you said this is an Inn? Like, a hotel?" She asked. "Are you hiring, 'cuz I am currently broke and need a job."

I mean, I'm not even supposed to be here in the first place. The manager just ran off to go clean out the junk yard and nobody else was around.

"Oh wow."
Channelknight Fadran Posted January 23, 2023 Author Posted January 23, 2023 It's not really his fault, though. The place just reopened, so we're a little short-staffed.
Random Bystander she/her Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 "Alright. Anyway, what jobs are available?"
Channelknight Fadran Posted January 23, 2023 Author Posted January 23, 2023 (edited) Current openings are... everywhere. Vacity ducked back behind the receptionist's desk to find a list. Except lifeguard, I guess, because the pool's closed for the season. We're looking for receptionists, janitors, spell technicians, breakfast chefs, eldritch storeroom plumbers, cookie de-spikers, and... Vacity squinted at the last item on the list and sighed. Mr. Chrono is asking for an assistant again. I wouldn't take that one - he never keeps anyone for more than a week. Edited January 23, 2023 by Channelknight Fadran

"And who's Mr. Chrono?"
Channelknight Fadran Posted January 23, 2023 Author Posted January 23, 2023 He's the Wizard of the Clock Tower. Seriously; he's grumpy all the time. 'S what he gets for basically living inside a giant alarm clock.

Channelknight Fadran Posted January 23, 2023 Author Posted January 23, 2023 All sorts of things. Really depends on what kind of magic you have. Because so many kinds of people are coming here all the time, we have access to all kinds of magic to maintain the Inn and make things comfortable.
Random Bystander she/her Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 "Huh. Okay. And are there any specific qualifications I need for any of the jobs, or..."
Channelknight Fadran Posted January 23, 2023 Author Posted January 23, 2023 Not really. The Boss keeps everything up to par for the most part with his own fancy magic powers. He just can't take care of every single little thing.
