Neutron star cores are a different kind of degenerate matter, if I recall - though a google search says they might contain some strange matter. It’s theoretically made from strange quarks in addition to up and down, and theories suggest it’s even more stable than normal matter, but really hard to make. Once you have it, though, it sets off a chain reaction that turns everything it touches into strange matter. And already existing hyperdense materials sound alarmingly close to the required conditions (and also sound as though they’d gravitationally rip your blood out if you touched them, but that’s a different problem). 
I attempt to build a weak force amplifier to break through the SIM - and any strange matter that may arise due to it. When I test it, though… let’s just say my laboratory is no longer in existence. 
I run away from the explosion, wall of hydrogen plasma, and additional explosion.

Ahh, but it's shielded in 11 dimensions to counter things like this. Wormholes, which fold 4 space-time into 5 dimensions, are not enough.

But I have more Investiture than the Lord Ruler. I have held the mega-super honorblade. Ghosts also waste consciousness on existing, whereas I, being human, stay alive instinctively.

But the quarks still decay. I had the priviledge of asking someone with a physics degree (long story (actually not really but it's complicated)) if strange quarks were stable or not, and he said they weren't, but they're the most stable of the unstable quarks.

SIM isn't hyperdense, it has normal mass. It's from the Remembrance of Earth's Past Trilogy, and the explanation is that it generates a field around it that counters electromagnetism.

Ghost need no investiture. If this Ghost's Ghost energy were to be converted to investiture, it would have more power than adonalsium.

And you are thinking of Ghosts too much like cognitive shadows. They are more equivelent to shards than beings of a single realm.

Supposedly they’re metastable, but it doesn’t really matter - if strange matter existed we would have noticed it by now. 
Uh… Firstly, this would entail structures closer to that of nuclei (which are really dense, as you presumably know); secondly, it would likely still undergo epic amounts of fission (which could potentially explain why it’s not one big nucleus - and I suppose part of fission is caused by electromagnetic repulsion); and thirdly, a field that turns off electromagnetism would have catastrophic effects - chemistry would cease to exist, then reassert itself as soon as the field was exited. It’s still an interesting plot device, but like many things in science fiction it doesn’t quite work when you apply full science (cough cough FTL causality cough cough). 
Yup (mad scientist me has the power of comedy to protect him, and is not the wisest of people). In retrospect, there were many problems with my plan. Hence, once I ensure I haven’t been horribly irradiated, I set to work on a new device - one that will simply turn off the strong nuclear force instead. This is, of course, a brilliant idea that will not end horribly at all.

I then hire Wreck-it-Ralph to break through the barriers. I now have Sandwich. I then give it to the local Sleepless faction base and tell them to protect it with their lives. They accept.

Fortunatly the Ghost Realm does not comply with any of the normal Cosmere Rules. As a consequence, the Ghost Realm never merges because the Bondsmith Honorblade has no power there.

I have many tips

Option 1: Go to the Ghost Realm. Ghost might have more power there, but it will be less unfair.

Option 2: Become a ghost. This will give you full access the the Ghost Realm and give many perks. Ghost might have more power over you, but you will be able to fight him on his turf
