3 minutes ago, Ookla the Lad said:

"Don't try. I need you to hold still." Elya reached into her jacket and brought out a roll of bandages and antiseptic.

Ne’ik regained his sense. “No! You’re a Blighting Mystic! Why should I trust you?” After a moment’s consideration, he spat in her face.

No, I have no idea what the Blight is. It sounds cool, ok?

His wound burned like some God-Blighted inferno. He wanted to scream, but he’d already shown enough weakness here. “What. Kind. Of. Blighted. Mystic. Torture. Is. This?” Neik asked through gritted teeth.

"I told you to sit still." Elya said, grunting. It was harder than most people thought to hold a wet rag to a bleeding cut. She shifted herself, placing her knee and shin on his chest to hold him down instead so she could work with both hands; Elya started wrapping another strand of bandages around it, holding it as tight as possible.

“Great,” Ji said, his blades finally disappearing as well as his muddled senses. “Add him to the pile, but let’s get out of here. We’ve already drawn enough attention from the Pacis as is.”

"Pile?" Ne'ik asked. He tried to stand up but couldn't - he settled on sitting up. "What pile?" His vision blurred - he tried to blink it away, but the fuzziness held.

Ji grumbled something quietly. “The pile that keeps getting bigger every minute I spend here,” he muttered, rubbing the bridge of his nose. “Look, I dunno who sent you or what you want, but we’re going to have to get moving unless you want to be behind bars for the rest of your life.”

Ji shrugged, indifferent. “Then you can lie here and die,” Ji put simply. “Maybe Ko’ad will bless me by letting the Pacis take you and putting you out of your misery.”

Velo rocked back and forth in the center of his room, arms wrapped around his legs. Quiet, no, QUIET. Stay stay stay stay... QUIET! He covered his ears with both hands, a grimace on his face. The yelling outside the building sure didn't help.

Ne'ik tentatively looked down (he'd been avoiding doing so, suspecting that there would be a lot of blood) to find that his leg had been neatly tied with a bandage. Was that what she'd been doing? He looked up at the three Mystics and sighed. "Fine."
