Elya whipped out her sword, leaping to the side before kicking off the wall and zipping towards the newcomer. Something had changed about everything around her--was this person a Mystic? What was their ability?

Ne'ik yelped, narrowly jumping to the side as his target whizzed toward him. He shot a few rounds of bullets at her as she passed.

Ne'ik leaped at his target, swinging his tail at her head, while keeping her sword busy with a steady rain of bullets.

Raviid moved like a man possessed. These lunatics were likely to kill each other even despite his slowing without further intervention, and he was solidly not in the mood for that today. He gave Elya a hard shove, knocking her off course, before throwing his coat over the newcomer's face to block his line of sight and swiping the bullets out of the air.

Elya dashed around him in a rough semicircle, watching every pull of the trigger and bullet as she searched for an opening. They were bound to run out sooner or later; he couldn't hold out forever.

Augh! Ne'ik's vision went black. Some kind of Mystic trickery? He swung his tail back and forth in wild arcs.

I leave.. for one hour to listen to “Sweet Dreams” with Kahoot music over it.. now there’s a whole new page. No, this is fine. This is great. Not like all the interesting stuff happens or when people decide to be active when I decide to get off for a bit  (jk, mostly)

Ji growled as his blades missed, if only barely. He blinked, thinking too long, his senses muddled. After an eternity, he tried jerking them to meet his enemy, but… couldn’t? Well, they were moving towards his enemy, but very, very slowly. He tried pushed his power harder, feeling it tug painfully, but was still moving slowly.

Ji tried fighting against the slowness, but found trouble. It was working… sort of. Everything seemed blurry, even in his head. It was like watching a child walk through molasses: Slow, sticky, but making towards the target destination.

His veins glowed brighter, the ghostly blades becoming more solid in response. Growling deeper, Ji forced his blades to continue moving towards his target, aiming for the shoulders, though very, very slowly.

I mean, it's not like I established it either way

Raviid moved over to the flailing assailant, moving easily around the tail and swiftly disarming him. He grabbed his coat back and moved to roughly where he'd been before, releasing his Foreseeing.

Ne'ik yelped again, looking down. His guns were gone! He had to run - hide - get away -

Elya threw a dagger at his leg.

Ne'ik looked down to find a dagger stuck in his thigh, blood dripping from the wound. He screamed, not because of the pain - that hadn't taken hold yet - but because there was a dagger in his leg.

She ran at him, tackled him to the ground, and held yet another dagger to his neck.

Ne'ik tried to jerk out of his target's grasp, but her grip was tight. He gasped, the pain in his leg finally starting to set in.
