I'm going to watch it. I can read a book knowing how it all ends and it doesn't really bother me. I get the same amount of enjoyment out of it as I would have by reading it without knowing anything. I feel like I am in the minority because I like the tv show as much as i like the books, well at least the first 3 books, 4 and 5 sorta fell flat with me. So I enjoyed the tv show more than those books.

Let's assume he can hold a Shard and say he did become the Shard, which Shard doesn't really matter. So his Command is his personality, right? Would that mean that with his enhanced mind he would be able to come up with a solid definition of evil and be able to destroy it once and for all? Because I'm pretty sure that the Intent of the Shard has no real affect on the new Holders personality for a couple of years. That gives Nightblood quite a bit of time to accomplish his goal/Command.

I don't think that works. Before when they were alone Pat would write "Kote did this or that" but then he suddenly starts randomly calling him Kvothe in those parts. If it had been Bast or The Chronicler calling him Kvothe it would be fine but its not. Its Pat saying Kvothe is doing this when for the last book and a half it's been Kote or the Innkeeper. It could be what you say I just think that it is a little random is all. Kote mentions that he will tell the truth about some princess, I think her name is Ariel(?), I would be able to check but my niece has my book. When I read that my instant thought was that that person was Auri. Thoughts?

I doubt there is much that can't be taken through Hemalurgy. Is why it is my favourite system.

I may have accidentally taken your memories of the non-cosmere books as I'm too lazy to read them for myself and partially taken the memory of Elantris through the use of Hemalurgy. I would apologise but I'm not sorry.

I read TSRfST and thought it was pretty 'meh'. But that's purely because I'm not really into that style. I'm currently re-reading Wise man's Fear and I'm curious as to why Patrick stopped using Kote about halfway through the book for the inn scenes and instead uses Kvothe.

I do not believe that I ever offered to cook it, let alone offering to let people eat it. I was merely making a statement.
