  1. Macen! You're on the shard again! How's life been? I am also considering signing up, but i need to figure out the timing with next semester starting.
  2. LG42: Finale: Survivors Remart has not awakened. Was he ever awake? How would he know? This dream had lasted thousands of years, and yet he couldn’t recall what had happened in it. The Teeth were still there. They grinned, the only visible thing in the strangling mist. Then the mist was gone, and he was on the world. The Teeth bit into scadrial, devouring it one city after another. The Teeth laughed and sighed as the ripped apart Remart and the world. No matter where he hid, or how he fought, the Teeth killed him. The were others in the dream. Two, maybe three. A woman and maybe a man. The woman was Red. Scarlet. Crimson. She was Blood and Fire. She was the rage and love and passion and emotion. She wanted to kill him, and he knew the dream wouldn’t end until she did. She was real. The man was two men, one yellow, one blue. They switched back and forth in the dream. Always, one of them was there. They fought the Teeth, slowed them down. They removed some, and and blocked others. But they fought. Remart did not know if they were real, but he knew them. The world was back, and the Teeth were far away. But the mist was still strangling the world. Squeezing it smaller and smaller. It was getting harder to flee from the woman in the small world. The man were (was? is?) fought harder, but could do nothing against the mist. Remart ran, and ran, and ran, but made no ground. His feet refused to touch the ground. The woman was there, beside him. She drew forth a small tooth, black and sharp. She sighed, and finally, Remart heard something in the dream. “I prefer to kill my victims when they are alive.” Fuzz watched, disturbed. This dream was a fractured vision of the future, and not a timeline he had seen. Remart had been invested by Cultivation.. Somehow, his nightmare of the future was more accurate than Fuzz’s own. But Fuzz had the knowledge to actually interpret it. He needed a Heatherlocke. House Heatherlocke would prove pivotal in the coming days. Somehow, a Heathelocke would delay Ruin if Vin gave up the power. But which Heatherlocke? Only Straw and Hadrian had died recently enough for him to restore them to life. He needed more information. He needed to ask the ones who knew them the most. The ones they killed. Jondesu was killed by Crimsn Wolf! Fifth Scholar has won for House Ffnord! Since all current players are winners, the Game itself is over, but, for the next 3 ish days, we will be having one more vote. Vote in Red for the player you think should have won. @Araris Valerian, and @Straw are your options. All players may again post in the thread. (All Docs are now locked.) Araris and Straw may make any argument they want about which of them deserves to win. They may reveal private PM's as proof of their words. Congratulations to @Orlok Tsubodai, @Crimsn-Wolf, and @Fifth Scholar Folder for all Docs Voting ends in
  3. Night 8: Dreams of the Future Remart Ffnord’s dreams that night were dark things. He was running through a plain with a great wind at his back. The light was far ahead of him, and he was not alone in the darkness. There was someone beside him, but in the way of dreams, they switched who they were as they ran. He was being chased. A monster in the darkness far behind him, full of great teeth. The Darkness approached with it, blotting out the light even as he chased it. A rumbling eternal wave of blindness. So Remart continued to run, his legs moving slowly, as the ground seemed to flow from his footsteps much faster than possible. There were people and building up ahead, and suddenly he had reached them. He was among the great buildings, each the height of Kredik Shaw. They were broken things, dropped by a capricious child. Remart ran through them, but the Beast was gaining, so he was inside one of the buildings. He hid, watching through the window as the darkness swept through the town, erasing the buildings from existence. The Teeth were everywhere now. A grinning maw surrounding the town. Remart screamed in his dreams, but heard no sound as the teeth closed on him. Locke Tormander stepped from his coach, and grinned up the steps at the Tekiel Guardsmen. Lord Eru Tekiel stood at the head of the steps, looking down in disdain. “Lord Tormander.” “Lord Tekiel, I hope this morning finds you well.” It should. Tormander Allomancers had been killing the man’s rivals all last night and morning. “The shape of it pleases me currently, but I am unsure if letting a man like you into my house is the best course of action i can take.” Despite his words, he nodded to his captain, who called out for the men to part, allowing Locke to climb the steps. Two servants opened the great doors before them, and Locke followed Eru into the house. “I am surprised that my inclusion would not be considered an excellent choice my Lord. I would bring riches, allomancy, and knowledge into your house. The Tormander name is a respected one.” “It is a feared one.” Eru snapped back. “Lord Jack did well do distance himself from that reputation, but with his murder, in his own keep, I’m afraid you will have to work far harder to escape it then he did.” “I believe that marrying into the Tekiels, and letting the Tormander name die, would be helpful to that cause.” Locke smiled, though Eru wasn’t looking at him. Eru opened a door, revealing a small study with a darkened fireplace, some tapestries, and a large desk. He walked around the desk, picking up a pre poured glass of wine, and sat down. He indicated the chair and glass across from him, and asked. “So you intend to marry my eldest daughter?” Locke sat down, and picked up the glass. “Lady Tintallë is not your eldest child. She is lovely, and I know you were intending to marry her off in order to cement an alliance. Let me try to win her over, and if i can marry her, you will gain all the might of House Tormander. With Heatherlocke dead, and Ffnord in pieces, my wealth will put you among the Great houses of Luthadel.” Eru slowly stirred his wine as he thought. He leaned forward, one elbow on the desk. “Let us discuss terms then.” No one was lynched! This will be the final night of LG42, after this, the Heatherlocke and Ffnord winners will be determined via tiebreaker. If all 4 players have put in action orders in the first 24 hours of the cycle, i will end the turn early. Otherwise, the turn will end in
  4. I would happily sign up if you want me to. =P
  5. Well then. Anyone have any requests for what their characters are doing?
  6. That was a very fun game to play, and a very fun village to Troll. Thank you to my fellow eliminators for being willing to not kill with me!
  7. I can't sign up, so i will take a spec doc link.
  8. <Writeup to maybe be added> Crimsn Wolf attacked Fifth Scholar, but he survived! Apologies for all the delays. This cycle will be the last Day turn. If Jondesu and Fifth Scholar both survive the lynch, then there will be one last Night turn. If they both survive that, the winner will be chosen via the Secret Tiebreaker. This Cycle will last 36 hours, or 12 if all of you have voted before 9:45 tomorrow morning.
  9. Apologies for the delay, i overslept. Writeup and new thread will be up soon. But no one has died. Elbereth and i are discussing how to work with that, and will post the thread once we have a soloution.
  10. On the off chnace i survive the lynch, and have time to analyse, i will toss a vote on Devotary. Brightness's logic seems sound.
  11. Him was Shqueeves, number 1 is what happened, and you raise a good point that Evil!Shqueeves would have lied. So in hindsight, bad plan. But it did happen.
  12. Night 7: Haelbarde Straw and Hadrian Heatherlocke stared at each other from across the open hall, both surprised. It was rare for the two heirs to run into each other on accident these days. The Keep was empty of nobles, and all but the most trusted servants. Only the necessary staff were here. Straw nodded to his cousin. “Hadrian.” Hadrian nodded back. “What are you doing out and about?” Hadrian sighed. “I’m leaving the keep. Auden, Dbec, and Leets have proven that we are not safe here. I’m taking our guards with me.” Straw nodded. “Good idea. I’m glad I had the same one. I’ve had the Hazekillers assemble to escort me.” There was a pause, as the cousins considered each other. They had spent the last week worrying about who in the Keep they could trust, but with Auden’s death, and subsequent proof that he had been the one to poison Lord Rab, they could again trust each other. Hadrian moved first, and Straw moved to meet him. They grasped eacother’s hands, and shook. “Good luck Cousin.” “Hopefully we will meet again, some happier day.” Lord Hadrian Heatherlocke, surrounded by the House Guard, personally walked down the streets of Luthadel. Auden and Taswell had both died in their carriages, because they could not see their surroundings. He would not repeat their mistakes. He had a solid wall of steel and flesh around him, with a smaller, looser ring inside that. He had room to maneuver, scouts in side streets and ahead of him, and all the power of his own Iron Allomancy to keep himself safe. It would take nothing short of an army to take him down. There was a commotion at the front of the wall of troops, and one of his scouts slipped in. The man approached, then knelt several meters away. “Lord Hadrian, there are more guards ahead. An army, equal to us. They are currently attempting to barricade several streets, blocking us in. They are killing our scouts.” “Blast.” Hadrian looked up and down the streets. There was no easy way to fight in here. The alleyways and side streets provided too many opportunities for others to get ahead and around his troops. “We need to get through them before they can finish their defenses.” “A good strategy my lord.” Rumbled his Captain. “Shall we form up into a charge, or continue in our current formation?” “I’ve never lead warfare in a city Captain. I’ll let you give the orders. Keep me safe.” The Captain slammed a fist into his armor in a salute, and began to give orders. The guards compressed the perimeter around Lord Hadrian, and began to advance down the street, more Heatherlocke guards arriving from the side streets. Archers began to scale buildings around the street, jumping from roof to roof. And then the other army appeared. There was a call from the front, and an opposing wall of Steel and Flesh swung around the corner ahead. They slammed into the front rank of the Heatherlockes, and men began to scream as they died. “Lord Ruler.” The captain examined the scene. “They must have abandoned their ambush when they saw the scout escape.” “Is it safe to go around them?” “We’ve lost too many scouts sir. We don’t know where around them is. We have to hold this street, and wait for an opportunity to punch through. Once we can — Arrgh!” Hadrian jerked away from the captain, as a large man in a vest fell on him, slamming him into the ground. The man drew back one fist, and punched clean through the captain’s helmet, killing him. A Coinshot landed beside the Thug, panting. “damnation you’re heavy. I don’t want to do any more Combat drops.” Hadrian pulled the captain’s sword from his sheathe and into his hand. He jumped backward away from the pair as his guards began to turn towards the new threat. But then a spray of coins and nails shot down from above, mowing down a section of guards. Another Coinshot, with a Thug holding onto his back, fell from the sky. “We’ll deal with the guards, you two kill Hadrian.” He recognized the man. Zakhary Tormander. Hadrian pulled a shield from a nearby guard, and charged, not giving them time to reply. The first coinshot smirked and pushed against Hadrian. But Hadrian only grinned, and pulled on all the guards behind the coinshot. His sword, and all the metal on him rammed against him, but the force of his pull still gave him enough speed to get close. The Coinshot stepped back in shock as Hadrian rammed a sword through his belly. The Thug punched him in the head. Hadrian dropped the sword and shield as he sailed into the ranks of his guards, who quickly grabbed him and got him onto his feet. He gasped in pain as his vision flickered in and out of focus. The Thug charged forward, knocking aside guards like a Koloss. He tore through their ranks even as they formed more. Hadrian breathed in, trying to catch his breath and regain his mental capacities. The Thug reached him first. Straw Heatherlocke cracked his dueling cane against the Thug attacking him. The Ffnord noble dropped, out for the count. Straw stood as 1 point in a pentagon, his back to his last 4 hazekillers. Surrounding them were several dozen guards and another half dozen Allomancers. The Allomancers and the Guards didn’t seem to be working together, but they had attacked at the same time. Together, they had killed 20 of Straws expert Hazekillers. Together, Straw and his 24 Hazekillers had killed 100 guards, and a dozen allomancers. All the coinshots were dead, so now it was just melee combat. The allomancers all focused on him, and the guards focused on his Hazekillers. There would be no help coming, unless Hadrian somehow learned of his plight. So they fought. Straw deflected two Glass daggers, wielded by yet another Thug, and directed the man into one of his fellows. Seemed like the Ffnords had sent every Thug they had after him, learning from the last several attempts on his life. He grinned as he fought, deflecting blow after blow, with the best of the best at his back. There was no force in the kingdom stronger than his hazekillers. “Above!” Straw glanced up at the call from one of his men. He gasped, and nearly died from the distraction, but managed to block at the last minute. Above them, barely seeable through the thick steel bars of the Prison Cart, was a mistborn. He was floating a good 40 meters above them, Steelpushing presumably, and holding onto one of the Lord ruler’s Prison cart’s with a combination of Lurching and Pewter burning. Desperately, Staw looked for some way out, but they were surrounded, penned in. He glanced up again, only to see that the mistborn had dropped the cart. “I was so close—” the cart slammed down. ----- Staw was killed by the Ffnords! Araris was killed by the Tormanders! The Heatherlocke winner will be revealed at the end of the game. This cycle will be another night cycle, since we want the Ffnords to have some say in which one of them wins. Player list: (Jondesu) RemartFfnord (Fifth Scholar) Count Olaf Ffnord (Crimsn Wolf) Altea Meza Heron (Orlok Tsubodai) Locke Tormander
  13. I explained in my vote why. Shqueeves and i set up a way to determine if Drought was lying or not. I had him contact the dead doc, and ask Coop "What was the last Emoji Joe used in his PM with you? If Drought is telling the truth, tell the truth. If Drought is lying, lie." Later, Coop answered, and answered honestly. I took that to mean, as per the system i had set up, that Drought was telling the truth. I have no idea why Coop said the right thing. Maybe Shqueeves didn't give him the full message. Umm, I care? Presumably we all do? I don't see how lynching a suicide role (Which I explicitly am not) helps us in any way. If we want to win, we need to keep lynching Eliminators. There are 7 players left, at least 4 of us have to be villagers, or the game would be over. A Joe in the Bush as Jeo the Yellow BrightnessRadiant as Ivy Devotary of Spontaneity as Fahmexa Ecthelion as Eärendil MonsterMetroid as Roid RippleGylf as Sarcoline Arinian as Elien I am a troll. A huge one, but so is Droughtbringer, the only confirmed eliminator there is in this game. How is that backtracking? I saw suspicious of Elenion, so i voted on him. At the time, he didn't have the most votes, and i didn't know that there were others suspicious of him. So i did not think he would get lynched, but then he did. I'm not happy he was lynched, but i don't regret it. It got rid of a player i was suspicious of, which allowed me to focus on other players. Yes, because voting in the last 10 minutes of the cycle, when literally all but 1 other player voted on Drought, will definitely save him. [/s] I did not vote to save Drought, i voted to kill Shqueeves, because i had been told by Coop that Drought was being honest. Ripple's right, we have an odd number of players, so we can't have an even number of village and elims, unless you buy Arinian's theory. I'll figure out who i suspect after the LG42 Writeup.
  14. A bit late, but Shqueeves. He just returned my code form Coop to me, and Coop indicated that Droughtbringer was telling the truth. I asked Shqueeves to ask Coop what Emoji i last used. He was to tell Coop to lie if Drought was lying, and tell the truth if he was not. Coop told the truth. If anyone is online, Drought is not the eliminator
  15. I will toss a vote on Ecthelion. I am on my lunch break at work, and have only had time to skim the thread. It looks like lots of new evidence has surfaced against droought, so maybe we'll finnaly get answers.
  16. @Droughtbringer can you answer the questions i posted at the end of the last cycle? Did I miss this? Where? There are two different names there, returned and Worldhopper. Which one is this person claiming, and why did the name change at some point? Sentry. The third one is called Sentry. I would like to see these reasons. I see no reason that a worldhopper role as you describe would be all that powerful. If anything, they are less powerful. They cannot really confirm whether or not their actions had an effect for several turns. I could easily see a team of 3 eliminators with each a unique role being balanced against this type of player. May I ask what things those are? hmm. During the rollover, I'll check when vote manip happened. For now, what turns did this player have the awakener role?
  17. A Joe in the Bush as Jeo the Yellow Shqueeves as Shu BrightnessRadiant as Ivy Devotary of Spontaneity as Fahmexa Ecthelion as Eärendil MonsterMetroid as Roid Droughtbringer as Zaffer RippleGylf as Sarcoline Arinian as Elien Well, there aren't 5 eliminators at least. I looked back through the cycles, and there was only ever 1 captain at a time. And not this time, when our resident captain Bort was inactive. @Shqueeves, care to comment about Drought's allegations? If there are other awakeners, now is the time to reveal yourself. I'm going to bed. Don't expect to see me tomorrow until almost exactly half way through the cycle. To those of you who do have time, please, analyse Shqueeves and Drought. Though, it is still possible that both are villagers, so be on the lookout for people who try to get us to focus on both of them.
  18. Is there any other awakeners that can collaborate your story? How many other awakeners are there? Can we get a list of who you have roleblocked so we can verify this? Did I miss this? Where? There are two different names there, returned and Worldhopper. Which one is this person claiming, and why did the name change at some point? Sentry. The third one is called Sentry. I would like to see these reasons. I see no reason that a worldhopper role as you describe would be all that powerful. If anything, they are less powerful. They cannot really confirm whether or not their actions had an effect for several turns. I could easily see a team of 3 eliminators with each a unique role being balanced against this type of player. May I ask what things those are? No? i cozy up too people I am suspicious of all the time. Admittedly, I do it as an elim as well, but i don't see that behavior as all that suspicious. hmm. During the rollover, I'll check when vote manip happened. For now, what turns did this player have the awakener role? That is one of the few points in your favor here. EDIT: Ahh! Sorry Drake, didn't realize you had posted.
  19. That means we are only missing @Bort. @Drake Marshall, does the game end when the eliminators have more players than us, or equal players to us? @Everyone else, There is half an hour left. I think we have only 1 captain in play, and i think she is village. The vote as it stands is I will remain online in case Coop is an elim, and his comrades attempt to save him, but, there isn't actually anything i can do to prevent a Coop save. But @Arinian and @RippleGylf are viewing the thread. Would you two consider staying online to try to prevent a hammer?
  20. I really don't like this current Lynch. We have not had a single tied vote like this end in our favor. Not only that, but all 4 of the current players that can be lynched are voting on eachother. I think it rather likely that many of them will switch their votes out of self preservation. I will switch my vote to Coop because of that. I would rather Arrinan died, but coop is my second biggest suspicion. Ecthelion (1): Devotary, Arinian Coop (4): Joe, Brightness, Droughtbringer, Brightness, Joe, Devotary Drought (2): Coop, Shqueeves Arinian (1): Joe, Ecthelion Brightness (1): Monster Bort and Ripple still need to vote.
  21. I don't see shqueeves as being all that suspicious. I don't see him as being villagery though, drought, i am slowly getting a better read on, and i am also getting a worse read on coop as they talk. I still don't have a read on Ecthelion at all, but he will die anyway, so not really a point in me lynching him. I think I would lynch Coop or Arinian at this point. Edit: @Ecthelion III ninja'd me.
