  1. Jo - Yellow - (3): Kasimir, Mark IV, Gaea VOTE FOR JO TUF- Brown - () Sart - Green - (1): Terrisman Terrisman - Grey - (1): Aetunum BridgeBoi - Blue - (1): TwinStorm Steeldancer - White - (1): Jo No Vote: (1): ThatOneWorldhopper I will move my vote to Steeldancer. Now TUF is the leading Candidate for becoming Stilled. However, if, as Gaea and others have said, Tuf and Twinstorm agree to protect TUF, then a random one of Sart, Terrisman, BridgeBoi, or Steeldancer will get Stilled. @TwinStorm, do you intend to protect TUF? Honestly, I am worried about the immunity, but I'm not currently worried about BridgeBoi. (Ideally the Green Ajah just takes him out, using up both abilities without any tempo loss)
  2. Ok, annoying that I cannot vote for myself. I'mma be real with y'all, No Voting is a bad idea. I will try to lay this out as thoroughly as possible. Currently, there is no probable universe in which any of the Six Sitters reach a 9 vote majority, especially if we cannot vote on ourself, that is fine and good. But one of the six of us will be removed from the running tonight. Currently, I have votes, so it will not be me. It will be randomly decided between the sitters who get no votes. This means, that if you are suspicious of 3 of the sitters, and not suspicious of 3 of them, you should vote for the ones you aren't suspicious of, in order to get one of the suspicious ones Stilled. That removes them from the running, so they will never be able to become the Amyrlin Seat. Choosing to not vote does not actually decrease the odds of an Elevation happening tonight, because the odds are already infinitesimal. Choosing to not vote simply increases the odds that a Village Sitter gets stilled, which gets the Black Ajah one step closer to victory. You do not need to vote on me. I'm not asking you to vote on me. There are already 3 people (Kas, Mark, Gaea) who have said they are going to vote on me. Frankly, if any Sitter does get more than 3 votes tonight, you should look closely at that Sitter and their voters. But if there is a Sitter that you are NOT suspicious of, AND they have less than 3 votes, you should vote on them to protect them. I am currently placing my vote on Sart. I don't particularly trust Sart, nor do I want him to become the Amyrlin, but I'm trying to get TUF, BridgeBoi, or Steeldancer Stilled tonight, because I trust those three the least among the Sitters. In my ideal world, BB would get no votes tonight, and TUF would get 1, so that BB loses his extra-protection, and TUF is taken out of the running. Jo - Yellow - (2): Kasimir, Mark IV, TUF- Brown - () Sart - Green - (1): Jo Terrisman - Grey - (1): Aetunum BridgeBoi - Blue - (1): TwinStorm Steeldancer - White - () No Vote: (1): @ThatOneWorldhopper, may I ask you to Change your vote to Steeldancer? If you are suspicious of TUF, and that will help get TUF stilled. @Kasimir I will absolutely confirm that I will not allow the Yellow Ajah to protect anyone tonight.
  3. I will confirm that Polly was not in the Yellow Ajah. Will you confirm she isn't in the White Ajah? I can't trust that she isn't just from that post since one of your very first posts was asking me to confirm I wasn't in your friggin Ajah. There kind of is? it's a bit iffy. One of us will be Stilled tonight. If no one votes, it will be randomly decided between the other 5, because I currently have the most votes for me. (One). We do want to have lots of votes, and preferably on a wide variety of Sitters, except the ones we're suspicious of (exclusively The Unknown Flame for me rn) So, if you're fine with leaving who gets stilled completely up to chance, you can ignore voting for the Seat, otherwise, vote for Me!
  4. Welp! I did not expect that! I'm halfway through a Deep-Dive of Night 0, so I'll post reads on my Fellow Sitters soon, as well as everyone Polly interacted with, but for now, remember to vote A JO IN THE BUSH for the Amyrlin Seat!
  5. Wrong. Dovie'andi se tovya sagain. Yessssss let the votes flow! KelsierApologist (3): The Wandering Wizard, Terrisman, xxGaea Kasimir (3): TwinStorm, BridgeBoi, TUF xxGaea (2): Sart, Kasimir DrakeMarshall (3): Ashbringer, Joe, Steeldancer TwinStorm (2): Aeternum, Mark IV Ashbringer (1): ThatOneWorldhopper STINK (1): Teldris Anuar This is, uh, certainly a tie. If this is still the situation right before rollover, I will be changing my vote from DrakeMarshall to KelsierApologist. I don't like a three-way tie like this, and I don't currently view Kasimir as at all Eliminator. Maybe I'm wrong about that, but I would rather keep him around. I'm about to embark on a full Reread of the game in preparation for the Night 1 Stilling vote, so hopefully I discover something in that that I find interesting.
  6. I'll be honest, this is something that has kinda bugged me off and on about SE. Do y'all just have like, profiles on players? or just insanely good memories? Even in my heyday of playing in almost every game, I didn't remember specifics of playstyles. I go into pretty much every game knowing nothing about every player beyond emotional associations such as "I remember people considered AAA to be a good Player." "Darn, that BBB fellow really tricked me in a previous game." Polly not knowing that Tun apparently has a reputation for being difficult to read doesn't surprise me in the least bit. This might more be a me thing because of my memory issues, but IDK. I forgot to write down why I had suspicions. Heck, I need to reread the whole game again now. Excellent. More to follow. I can't think of any good BA strategies that rely on them just killing us all. 2 players leave the game per cycle. I'm leaning towards the Elims having 4 members, because the Elim Win Conditions are generally a little bit skewed towards them. This means that if they engage in perfect play, they need to remove 10 Villagers, and they're unlikely to engage in perfect play. I don't think they will ignore the Amyrlin Seat entirely. I have paranoidly talked in the Yellow Doc about how I could see the Black Ajah going for a long term plan of Deposing the Tower Amyrlin by not having any of them become Sitters so that at the end of the game we assume that the Elevated Sitter must have been Black Ajah. My yellow-fellows pointed out that that would require a lot of thread control to pull off to get the village to repeatedly make the same mistake. I think the Black Ajah would want to try to win using Elevation simply to not narrow their options early on. Right now everything is available to them, assuming they have a Sitter. And with the protections we Sitters enjoy, I think it would be sensible for the them to reach for that, even if they didn't intend to reach for the Amyrlin Seat itself. That was my original desire to be a Sitter, temporary protection from the Execution and Night Kills. A foolish, selfish desire, I see that now. Vote Count: KelsierApologist (2): The Wandering Wizard, Terrisman Kasimir (2): TwinStorm, BridgeBoi xxGaea (2): Sart, Kasimir DrakeMarshall (2): Ashbringer, Joe TwinStorm (1): Aeternum Ashbringer (1): ThatOneWorldhopper Mark IV (1): xxGaea STINK (1): Teldris Anuar You know what? This is a pile of Crem. From a Game Master's perspective at least. We're all here to have fun, in one way or another. I'm changing my tactics. I'm going for the Amrylin Seat. A strong and loyal Amyrlin, loyal to the Tower, would be able to close down two of the Black Ajah's roads to victory. I will heal the infection that is corrupting our tower, as is my prerogative as Sitter of the Yellow Ajah. I now believe that we should absolutely elevate an Amyrlin as soon as possible, to prevent the Black Ajah from having the time to manipulate us into making the wrong choice. The Black Ajah will be killing our best and brightest, the ones who are closest to figuring them out. So we should make the decision now, when we still have all members of the Tower present (all except one, whomever will be executed today.) Tonight, after the Execution, Cast your Amyrlin Seat Votes for A Jo in the Bush!
  7. Vote Count: Aeternum(1): Kasimir KelsierApologist(1): Wandering Wizard, xxGaea(2): Sart, Terrisman Kasimir(2): TwinStorm, BridgeBoi Mark IV(1): xxGaea TwinStorm(1): Aeternum STINK(1): Teldris Anuar Ashbringer(1): ThatOneWorldhopper Drake Marshall(2): Ashbringer, A Jo in the Bush Well now I'm back to voting for Drake Marshall like I was earlier, since Wandering Wizard and KelsierApologist have both explained their reasoning for voting for Kasimir, and I found both of those reasonings to be Adequate. I think at this point I would comfortably vote on Drake, Twin, Mark, or Aeternum. I'll try to figure out why those are my sus reads in the morning. It's already past my bed time and I expect I'll still be up for another hour at least, because I'm terrible at going to bed on time. Does anyone even check for White Tet anymore? Ohh, that makes more sense now. I had no hecking idea what you were doing.
  8. I'm super used to trusting everyone I'm in a Doc with. I have to struggle to remind myself that my doc friends might be Black Ajah. Interesting! Thank you Terrisman, that confirms my suspicion. I am the only Sitter who specifically tried and succeed to become a Sitter. Everyone else either tried and got randed, or didn't try and got randed. I'm not sure what that means. I guess I'm leaning towards TUF being the most likely Sitter to be a Black Ajah based solely on how they became Sitter, but I'm more suspicious in that regard, so, idk. I am suspicious of TUF for apparently sacrificing Animal Crackers? (For real though, that felt like a weird time to post that. and it did increase my suspicions of him) I am suspicious of this sudden Kasimir train. I don't have any suspicion of him, I'm expecting him to turn out to be village, and I'm also expecting him to get night-killed early on TBH. Of the 4 people who have voted on Kas, Wandering Wizard didn't give any semblance of a reason, but they're also the first one to vote on Kas. KelsierApologist also didn't have a reason, and turned it into a full on brigade, so, can I ask why you decided to make there be a clear leader in votes, if you weren't suspicious of him? Why not vote on another candidate who had 1 vote, to increase the number of people at risk? Historically, we get better data when there are multiple people at risk of execution. Plus, she apologizes for a racist murderer. Anyone who thinks Kelsier is good is suspicious. =P Vote Count: Aeternum(1): Kasimir KelsierApologist(2): Wandering Wizard, A Jo in the Bush xxGaea(2): Sart, Terrisman Kasimir(3): TwinStorm, BridgeBoi, KelsierApologist Mark IV(1): xxGaea TwinStorm(1): Aeternum STINK(1): Teldris Anuar EDIT: Ninja'd by Wandering Wizard, kinda glad I hadn't voted for him like I had originally been think of doing.
  9. So, uh, new vote count: Aeternum(1): Kasimir Drake Marshall(2): A Jo in the Bush, xxGaea xxGaea(1): Sart Kasimir(1): The Wandering Wizard TwinsStorm and TOW have both voted on Sitters unfortunately. Reminder to everyone that the following players are Sitters, and cannot be executed today: A Jo in the Bush - Sitter of the Yellow Ajah The Unknown Flame - Sitter of the Brown Ajah Sart - Sitter of the Green Ajah Terrisman - Sitter of the Grey Ajah BridgeBoi - Sitter of the Blue Ajah Steeldancer - Sitter of the White Ajah The following can be voted on and Executed: The Wandering Wizard KelsierApologist TwinStorm Aeternium Ashbringer Kasimir ThatOneWorldHopper DrakeMarshall Mark IV Teldris Anuar STINK xxGaea
  10. Day 1 ends in 23 hours I think Theoretically, RP wise, the night is over. Time has passed, and we are now in different positions. IDK though.
  11. Current Vote Count: Experience/Aeternum(2): Sart, Kasimir Drake Marshall(1): A Jo in the Bush @|TJ| Does Sart's Vote on Experience translate into a vote on Aeternum? People! I find it scary as heck that we are 24 hours into this turn, and THREE VOTES HAVE BEEN CAST! There are 18 of us! I would hope you all remember that this is a game of Sanderson Elimination. Please cast a vote so that we have something to analyze! Currently someone who has literally never posted is due to be executed (Because they've only been in the game for 6 hours), which is not a great start to our game. There are 12 people you can vote on, and if you accidentally vote on a villager, and get them executed, that still gives us data to work with. Please vote! You probably have a 1 in 6 chance of accidentally voting for a Eliminator if you vote at random! There is also an inactivity filter that will get you killed if you don't vote! Let's not just lie down and die, let's Vote! The Three Votes in Question: EDIT: Oh Hi @Aeternum, if you think TwinStorm is kinda Wolfy, you should vote on him!
  12. Yup! kelsieraPOLLYgist This is really weird to me Mark. Your whole post seems to imply that you want to delay the Elevation of a Sitter to the Amrylin Seat. I agree with that. But then you express mild support for using the Green Ajah ability to accelerate the inevitable Elevation. Would it not be better to convince the Green Ajah to never use their ability? Using it removes one of the cycles we can spend executing a Black Ajah. What do you even mean dismantling the mechanics? From an RP perspective, I'm all for it. Decentralize the power! From an actual mechanical game perspective, my understanding of the rules is that there's simply no way to do that. One Sitter will be stilled every Night, no matter what we do. There is nothing we can do to prevent a Stilling, all we can do is work to delay the Elevation. Hence, we absolutely shouldn't use the Green Ajah ability. @SartHas your Ajah had any conversations about how your ability? We in Yellow haven't discussed ours much, though I'm trying to change that. I'm personally considering just committing to not using our ability, as I don't see a way for it to be particularly useful, unless the three of us all truly believe we aren't infiltrated.
  13. If I have been implying that, then it hasn't been deliberate. I have 2 doc-mates (Obviously). One of them I had a lengthy back and forth with about which of us should be sitter, for largely differing reasons. One thought they would be better at it, but also wanted to see what I would do with it, and recognized that I obviously wanted it more. We ended up mutually agreeing to have me go for it. this One could be lying/manipulating me. It is possible, though not probable, that they initially were gunning for the Sitter Position because they were an Elim, but when they repeated my strong push for the Seat, they were told that it wouldn't be necessary, because other Elims were already going to get Seats with less suspicion. I consider this scenario to be possible but improbable because if it were the case, I don't think they would have switched to calling me a villager. I think they would have maintained an air of suspicion on me to make Stilling me later on easier. Instead they have settled comfortably into thinking I'm a villager, though they expect to be able to figure me out if I'm not. IDK, they probably would be able to. I'm very much out of practice at being an Eliminator. Two, on the other hand, supported me for Sitter because they believed they would be Stilled if they were Sitter, and they didn't want One to be Sitter. . . Okay, well now that I'm typing that out, that feels a lot more suspicious tbh. I do think that One would have gotten further towards the Amarlyn Seat than I will, and I don't see why Two thinks they would have gotten Stilled as a Sitter. I probably should be more suspicious of that. I unfortunately have to go to work now (I'm going to be late due to typing this up as is (Work sucks, I don't respect my boss, and I don't get in trouble for being only 15 minutes late, so I'm not too worried)) but when I get home, I'll try to find the time to thoroughly reread my doc, and give Two a better lookover.
  14. >.< I should have noticed that. I need to go reread the rules yet again. Thank you Polly. Wait, this is BridgeBoi's first game? I don't think I knew that. I get that school/work makes activity difficult in these kinda games. Thank you for answering and giving some analysis! *Squints* Why does it say you're quoting TwinStorm? I asked that question. What is happening here? (I assume you highlighted that part of the post inside TwinStorm's Post where he quoted me, and that's what's happening, but idk) A more middle of the ground approach then, and kinda not one I had actually thought of. Interesting! Thank you. New question, is there an abbreviation or nickname you prefer over TOW? Of would you prefer we call you by ThatOneWorldhopper? Sleep well.
  15. @|TJ| Some questions for you. What are the actual definitions of Majority vote vs Plurality Vote? Does Majority mean “More than half of all living players”? Does Plurality mean “More than any other candidate”? When will we learn how many Deposition Votes the Amyrlin Seat must survive for? Can the Brown Ajah use their ability if there are only 2 Sitters left? Can the Green Ajah use their ability if there are only 2 Sitters left? What about 3? Are ties for Elevation randomly decided? If a player is Executed or Night Killed, is the color of their Ajah revealed? For the Inactivity Filter, is it looking at Election Votes, Execution Votes, or both? AT everyone else, if we assume very conservative numbers, then we get 7 Executions this game to find all of the Black Ajah. That’s assuming that no one dies to the inactivity filter. If we assume 4 to 6 Elims, then I think it is unlikely that we will get to execute all of them. This game will probably be decided by an Elevation/Deposition vote. To give us time to find the Black Ajah, I think we need to avoid elevating anyone, because we don't have a surefire way to truly clear anyone. Now, onto finding a Black Ajah day 1! There are only 12 people we can Execute today. Who should I vote for? Let's try to have lots of votes today, remember, there is an Inactivity Filter. The Wandering Wizard - Evelyn Rosemary He agreed to add the Bee Movie to his doc for TJ's sake. For that alone, I'm not voting on him just yet. Nothing else he's said was alignment indicative, just having fun on Night zero. Nothing wrong with that, he made the thread a welcoming place. I would hope to hear more from him this cycle. KelsierApologist - Coprolite She made a very interesting game post last cycle, when she discussed why she wasn't going to run for Sitter. While her reasoning could be used to try to manipulate her sitter, it still feels very village, and I'm not inclined to think of her as an Elim right now. Soft Village Lean. TwinStorm - Melian Made some Roleplay, and answered a question in the thread. Non-Alignment indicative, but he is at least paying attention to the game, which is good. He also knows BridgeBoi in real life, which is good to know. TwinStorm, I would love to know your thoughts on BridgeBoi. Are you surprised that they became the Blue Sitter? Experience @Experience you never did post in Night 0. Looks like you haven't posted anywhere in Tar Valon since the beginning of the Month. Are you active in your doc? We'd love to hear more from you. I won't even trick you into drawing an Ace this time. No Alignment Indications, obviously. Ashbringer You've made a few interesting posts Ashbringer. You brought up the idea of the non-sitters revealing who they are doc mates with. You've done a lot of interesting analysis of the idea of revealing Ajah, and I'm generally leaning Village on you so far. Nothing you've said seems like it could favor an Elim, which would be more suspicious if you were a Sitter. Kasimir - Kamil Lovric . . . I don't want to go reread all 29 of your posts to analyze you Kasimir. That's too many, and I'm only halfway through the non-sitters. ThatOneWorldhopper - Alkarii Tay'TerTüne Hi TOW! I've been having fun Role-Playing with you. How are you finding the game so far? I don't have any reads on you yet, so I'd appreciate if you could answer the following question: Do you think the Black Ajah are more likely to try to delay any Sitter getting Elevated to Amrylin Seat, or do you think they're more likely to push for one of their Sitters to get Elevated very early on? DrakeMarshall Drake, you're actually someone I expected to become a Sitter. Honestly not sure why I thought that, possibly just because you are a name I remember/recognize? You've had interesting thoughts about mass claiming, and are in favor of it. You've stated you have a very slight elim read on xxGaea, on the basis of them not having a strong opinion directly after Kas speculated that Elims would have a strong opinion one way or the other. You never stated whether or not their defense was enough to sway you to neutral or not. Are you still suspicious of xxGaea? I'm voting on Drake for now, for two reasons. They've posted a lot of analysis, but none of it has given me a village lean, which is not the same as being suspicious, but right now it's the best I've got. The second reason is that they were slightly suspicious of xxGaea, who can do no wrong. =P (for context, xxGaea and I are married IRL) Mark IV Mark made a wonderfully long post about his thoughts on the game. I get a Village Lean from it and him, but am disappointed that he's not trusting his gut when it tells him I'm a Villager. Do you still think the non-sitter pairs should reveal? Teldris Anuar - Tesan Alruddin Hello Teldris! I feel like I should have said welcome to the forum earlier, but I only just now realized you're brand new. I'm guessing from your post that you didn't run for Sitter in your Ajaw, is that correct? STINK - Rasmuht Good morning Stink. How did you sleep? xxGaea - Altea O’Canavan, aka Nameless Whisper Hello xxGaea! I genuinely do not think I would be able to spot you as an elim. I've played team based games with you plenty of times, and you always play to have fun. I'm not sure your behavior will change regardless of alignment, so I'm not going to be able to figure out if you're an elim until we execute at least one Eliminator, and then I can look at how/if you've interacted with them.
  16. Can you see now why it was changed so quickly? =P So, fellow Sitters, I would love to know how you won your nominations. Was it through random chance? Or did you successfully get two people to Nominate you? If it was Random, was it between all three of you, or between only two of you? Both of my fellow Yellow's voted for me, and I appreciate their support, and am somewhat terrified of their expectations of me. They seem to think I am far better at this game than I am.
  17. X!Name is a convention originally from Fanfiction I think, where it indicates a different version of a character. College!Vin would be talking about Vin in a Alternate Universe where she is a College student. In SE, people have started to talk about V!Wilson and E!Wilson as shorthand for "If Wilson was a Villager" or "If Wilson was an Eliminator." What you are reading as V!llain, is actually the short-hand phrase of "Village-Leaning". So if someone says they V!Lean Wilson or E!Lean Wilson, they think that Wilson is more likely to be one or the other.
  18. I can't tell, is this a joke? Are you unaware that I was Exed D1 on my first game back? And I'm not, worried, per say. Hmm, I don't know how to phrase this. I want to survive longer in this game, and I want to either win, or at least put up a good fight. I don't think I'm likely to be Exed D1 or NK'd N1 because QF74 proved that I'm wildly out of practice at finding Eliminators, but the possibility still exists. Becoming Sitter of the Bug's Life Ajah delays my leaving the game, and helps me focus on analysis. I'm still struggling to develop reads rn, so if I can basically ignore defending myself for a few cycles, and only focus on others, I think that would help me. I have told my fellow doc mates that if either of them think they would be a better Sitter than me, I'd vote for them, and neither of them took me up on that offer.
  19. Like the QF74 Dead Doc, it is a movie script labeled "The Bee's Movie", but if you read it, it quickly gets replaced with A Bug's Life instead.
  20. He passed by the first alcove, eyes and ears alert for the tiniest noise. He passed by the second, scanning over ever detail. He passed by the third, and it was empty. The fourth, and many more past that held only decorations and paintings. The sense of being watched hadn't diminished, but maybe he was mistaking it for something else? He folded his arms and looked back down the empty hall. What was happening in this tower? Was he alone? Was some magic at work? "You're good, whoever you are." Was he just talking to the thin air? "I'm impressed." He walked back to where he had started, much quicker this time, glancing into every hallway and alcove one last time. "I don't know if you're friend or foe, and I suppose you can't know the same about me. So I'll leave it at this for now. Keep watching if you want, eventually you'll see me slay one of the Black Ajah, and we'll learn eachother's loyalties. If you're friend to our enemies, I'm sure you'll come out to help them, and if not, I hope you'll reveal yourself to thank me. Then, we can talk." He waited to see if anyone came out of whatever concealment hid them. If they didn't soon, he'd just walk away. ** You're doing great so far! I'm certainly enjoying it. Do you want to talk to Emmett, or just keep following him? Or something else, I'm fine with whatever. As for whether or not Emmett is lying, well, he's not concerned about that. Zeroell wants him to put up a strong front for her Ajah, so he shall.
  21. Emmett grinned wide, an expression he had been told resembled that of a snarling wolf many times. When out if tho Tower, it was an expression that could scare anyone. When inside the Tower, well, he had seen many times that the Aes Sedai and his fellow Warders were made of much sterner stuff. "The best defense is a fast offense. She and the others of her Ajah are together, discussing and keeping watch, safety in numbers. Those of us who are more, replaceable, are out on the hunt. Our Ajah is not compromised. Is your own so clean?" He had no idea if there were members of the Black Ajah among Zeroell's Sisters, but she had told him to leave that investigation to her. That sense of being watched was still on him though. But if it hadn't been this person, who else was here? "Did you come alone?" She raised one eyebrow, but nodded. He turned back the way she had come, and prowled down the corridor. "Who else is here? There's going to be trouble if you don't show yourself?" His eyes flicked back and forth. Lots of hallways, lots of alcoves. Where were they hiding? ** I haven't seen anything in the thread that stands out to me yet. There's plenty of people I'd like to hear from, but I figure they'll get around to speaking once votes start flying. For now, I will make an announcement, because I'm curious about how people will react. I have been fighting for the nomination in my Ajah. I'm pretty certain I've convinced both of my doc mates to allow me to be our Sitter, rather than letting it be randomly generated. I don't think I have a chance at reaching the Amrylin Seat, nor am I convinced I'm the best person for the job in our Ajah, but I know I'm village aligned, and I think it would be fun to try, so I'm fighting for the position. Not like, tooth and nail fighting, because I do admit that others who are more didicated to the win would be better, and I'm mostly doing it so that I'm guaranteed to not be Executed on D1 like I was last game. I also pasted the script of the Bee Movie/A Bug's Life into our Doc, and for TJ's sake, I recommend you all do too.
  22. I've read the rules. post for LG7. I've read my Sign-up. I've looked at it for about 2 minutes, and I can confirm that this sentence means nothing to me. I apparently played in this game, but I have zero memories of it. Nothing that has happened has made me favor any sort of claiming. ** Emmett squinted at her, then slowly released her and stepped back, folding his arms. "I'd get used to the accusations as they will be flying in every bloody direction over the next week, or have you not heard about the Amrylin Seat? I'm expecting to be followed because I'm expecting the Black Ajah to attempt to kill me to get to my bonded Aes Sedai. Perhaps you know of her, Zeroell Athineos? "And if you're not here following me, what does bring you to this part of the tower. A woman I suspect to be involved in this conspiracy is here, and I expect others of her kind to be here."
  23. The hair all over Emmett's body stood up on end, but he didn't slow or react. Someone was watching him. Who? Why? Was it suspicious that he was stalking someone through the halls? Yes, certainly, but it was his job to be suspicious. He weighed his options. Continue following Jane Steel, or lay a trap for whomever was following him? He walked around the corner, then pressed up against the wall and crouched, holding his breath. Jane was getting further away, but Emmett needed to know who was following him. He waited. Footsteps sounded around the corner. He tensed, and as soon as a person started to walk around the corner, Emmett laurched forward, grabbing them and pushing them against the wall. "Why are you following me?" He hissed into their face. (This can be anyone.) ** To start off, the Brown, Green, Yellow, and White Ajah's have abilities that require unanimous agreement to use, so if there are two Black Ajah in those docs, they are incentivized to kill their third if they want to have complete certainty over when that power is being used. If there are 3, then they already have that certainty. If there is only 1, they can prevent it from being used, or try to convince their doc-mates to use it to their advantage. I'm of too many minds to count about how this would affect distribution, so I will largely ignore it in my remaining thoughts. Counting actual number of Elims, I agree that there are between 4 and 6. 7 feels a little bit too powerful, as that is too many votes and a swingy election can result in game over with that kind of numbers. A doc can have 0, 1, 2, or 3 Black Ajah in it. I'm going to try to think about this from a design perspective. I could see a hypothetical situation in which 6 Eliminators were split between 3 or even 2 docs. They would be guaranteed at least 2 sitters if they so chose, which would allow them to ignore the preliminary stages of the game, and guarantee they wouldn't be immediately prevented from one of their three routes to victory on N0. At the same time, that sounds a little bit less fun to watch/run. If instead no doc has more than 1 black Ajah, then the Eliminators have to carefully fight to become Sitters. This would be more entertaining N0, and would also lead to a more swingy game. They could lose one of their routes to victory on N0 if none of them become Sitters. If it were me running this game, I think I would go with a single doc that had two Eliminators in it, and the rest of the elims alone in their Ajahs. That way they're still guaranteed to have 1 sitter at least, with the option for more, while the majority of sitters will still be Townies. So, the number of Compromised Docs is probably 1 less than the number of Eliminators. I think. That means, if there are 4 Eliminators, then they don't know the contents of half of the docs. Is that an advantage for the Town? What would the Eliminators want to do about that. They could target Townies in the compromised Ajah's for death, to give them better control over the Ajah powers, or they could try to blind-fire into the docs that aren't compromised if they're aiming to remove certain abilities before they can interfere. Of the Ajah Abilities, if GREEN is compromised, I think they would focus fire on this Ajah to try to take control of that extra pseudo-kill. If WHITE or GREY are compromised, they don't need to worry too much about focusing on them. YELLOW and BLUE could be annoying to them, but I don't see the Eliminators specifically fearing them. TBH, I don't see the benefit of BROWN in most games. So here is what I think. It is more beneficial for the Eliminators to Mass-Claim. The Village is never going to be able to truly coordinate while the Eliminators are alive, but the Eliminators can and will. If they do not know who is in certain docs, even if I'm wrong about them specifically wanting Green members to die, then they will have a harder time removing specific abilities. If they do know those docs, then we lose nothing and gain nothing from Mass-Claiming. I am against Mass-Claiming. Thank you for asking that question Kas, I know understand this game a lot better. That said, it is an hour past my bedtime right now, so someone please point out all the wholes in my rambly logic so I can patch them tomorrow.
  24. . . . Wait, there's a White Ajah? I need to go reread the Rules. What are the swears used in WoT?
  25. Emmett stalked through the corridors, following where he thought that Aes Sedai had gone. Jane Steel was her name, and he had once overheard her talking about being a Black Ajah. Now that the Amyrlin Seat had vanished, presumed kidnapped or killed, jokes like that couldn't be taken as jokes. Jane would have to be thoroughly investigated. ** This will be a fun game I hope. Did anyone else immediately change their Doc color to be the color of their Ajah? I did and then it was changed back to White, lol. If anyone wants to RP, feel free to stop a wandering wolfbrother in the halls.
