    You guys make wonderful in-world related posts. I'd like to take a step back and view Shalladin for a moment from outline perspective. On one side we have the 'main female character, oblivious to her own appeal has both male leads fall for her' along with 'two characters that hated each other at first later fall in love' - both very tiresome tropes that have been done to death, does that fit Brandon's style?

    That's interesting, I'll keep an eye for posts that suggest it, because I haven't noticed it. My impression is people like Kaladin best, he's an awesome character, and Adolin tends to be dismissed as unimportant side character that no longer has a purpose since he was written to challenge and doubt Dalinar on his visions. I'm not saying either of us is right or wrong; may be posts that go against our views stick with us more than those we agree with, so we are left with somewhat distorted impressions.

    Regarding the idea that Kaladin is unpopular or disliked character, I must admit I'm very surprised someone would draw such a conclusion from the thread. I think you guys confuse dislike for love triangle or Shalladin with disliking Kaladin, which is wrong.

    I found it here. I admit I'm still confused as we haven't seen any alethi farmer using this and it seems like something they would know unless it's more complicated than it sounds.

    My guess is Nale initially didn't trust the SB to actually follow the law perfectly, but they proved him wrong. His high regard for the law is why he eventually went back for his Blade - he held the Oathpact as the highest law and couldn't completely abandon it. Think of the difference between ban-bane. The e at the end opens the vow, so I pronounce Nale more like nail.

    If stormlight makes plants grow, how come no one else seems to know this? Is anyone certain of the exact wording of this WoB?

    I don't think Kaladin sees much difference between the social institution and lighteyes in general. Sure, he can change his opinion of certain people - Dalinar got the benefit of the doubt from the start which was unique, then Adolin and Shallan, but Kaladin remained prejudiced against lighteyes.

    He acknowledged Shallan is different, there's nothing about him changing his opinion on lighteyes in general after the chasm.

    Where exactly does Kaladin say he sees lighteyes differently after Shallan? Because that's not how I remember it.

    We haven't seen alive sprenblade or Honorblade be summoned anywhere, but in the summoner's hand. I'd say if it was possible, Kelek would have summoned his Blade directly into the circle with the rest of them, so we need an answer in general, not just for dead Blades.

    Spren predate Honor's splintering, in fact radiant spren are of Honor in Cultivation. I think the Unmade are confirmed to be from Odium, so he has spren, but not in the nahel bonding with humans type. So if we tweak your theory a little, it could still work, but in a different sense - three BS spren, one identifies more with Honor (SF), the other with Cultivation (Nightwatcher probably) and the third - equally.

    What do you mean by spren of a Shard? SF was a bondsmith spren before Honor was splintered and both Cultivation and Odium are still whole. I don't think any radiant spren is of Odium, it would make no sense to me. We have a WoB there are 3 BS spren, but the only spren on SF level is the Nightwatcher. We don't know if she's a BS spren or if it's possible for them to bond more than one person. However, I am inclined to say SF could bond someone else, too, because of this WoK quote: I think he saw the same visions as Dalinar and at the same time unless I'm confusing the timeline. As for the quote you are referencing: I don't think it sets three BS as the limit, rather as a preferred upper number. At least the way I read it in theory there could be more than 3, but it would not be an ideal situation.

    In Shallan's current mental state, she'll probably just create a different persona for each of the boys... Yes, I hate love triangles no matter how well written and I want to have a friendship between main characters of the opposite sex. However, if then it's all good I have my priorities

    Surgebinders interact with the CR in way non-surgebinders can't, yet a glimpse is not the same as entering it physically. I suppose it could go either way, but I am skeptical. EC, LW and WS are supposed to have a better/higher ability to interact with CR, EC being the 'true masters'. If any surgebinder can waltz in the CR, it really cheapens it.

    Elsecallers were called the true masters of the CR. WR may not even be able to enter it without help. In fact I see no reason for the all KR to be able to enter the CR in like Jasnah did, it's probably the EC and WS due to Transportation, LW to a degree plus Lift, but she isn't the average surgebinder.

    Why wouldn't the Skybreakers listen to him and stop hunting proto-Radiants? He was the reason they were doing it in the first place. I think Nale will change the nature of the hunt - they'll track surgebinders to get them on board. Other than that, it's hard for me to predict. Although I suspect Nale will go have a word with Ishar...

    I don't want any Shalladin scenes either. I also don't want a love triangle, but from what I've heard there will be something, albeit minor... hopefully. Or scenes where Adolin is highprincing and we get bored reading reports. I don't Shallan or Kaladin to have some sort of mental breakdown and again reverse their progress. Though I'm mostly worried about Shallan, it could make for an interesting story arch, I just don't want her to suffer that way, so it's a different kind of things-I-don't want. I don't want Elhokar to remain a whiny brat or to become a squire.
