    I'm probably going to watch Sleep No More tonight and Face the Raven tomorrow. I'm not particularly looking forward to Sleep No More, because it's horror, which I'm not too fond of, but I will watch it just to get to Face the Raven, which I'm excited for but also dreading, from nonspoiler reactions from other people.

    This. I do exactly this, particularly when I'm nervous about a conversation. So basically when I want to say something to my sister or my theater teacher, or someone else who intimidates me.

    Well, I'm assuming you've read the Coppermind and 17th Shard pages already. I suggest either reading through some questions from signings, or just dive straight in to Cosmere Theories. If there's something you don't understand, just ask!

    What? H-how? How are either of those people still doing music? I would hate that. Our organist is wonderful, mostly. I mean, he's a great piano and organ player, and he's even teaching my sister how to play organ, but... There's a saying among pianists/organists. "You can be a great improviser, or you can be a great accompanist." Our organist is a great improviser. Unfortunately, he improvises all the time. Even when he's accompanying five year old violinists who are used to playing with a recording that's always the same. The violin teacher now has my sister accompany them, because the organist just can't.

    First, you're assuming throughout your whole post that the HI is loyal. Unless you have information that this is true (in which case, ignore this), at least be aware that you're making that assumption. That doesn't mean he isn't loyal, but we should remember that he might not be. Second, why can't the traitors kill Alfa themselves? He's (probably) not a Voidbringer. If it's because they're being protected by an Elantrian, then why did you tell the thread that? I'm confused by your statement here. Alfa isn't a Forger. He's a Hemalurgist turned kandra (maybe). What are you trying to say? Why are you assuming that Orlok and PK are Forgers? Do you know this? How? You didn't scan them N1, 2, or 3, so at most you could have scanned one of them. I'm confused.

    I don't know if vibranium's currently on the list, but we're trying to create and alternate Allomancy/Feruchemy for mythical metals over here.

    Our heater broke a week or so ago. I had every blanket I could find on my bed, plus all of my jackets and my down coat. I was still cold. I also went to a dance tonight! But it was a contradance, which was even more amazing.

    I was also taught that Native American was correct. On the other hand, my American History textbook only uses "American Indian" or "Indian", which... is very irritating.

    Well, this is on a different world, but the sun will represent a very important story on the story magic world. This world just has random superheroes, without even an explanation. (I have had a world where there were people with powers because their mothers spent time when they were pregnant near a particular kind of meteor from a big magic rock that exploded and each meteorite was a specific part of the magic.)

    Definitely not. I don't really understand when people get earworms, because if I get annoyed at a song I'm playing in my head, I just switch to a different one. Sometimes I sing to myself just to make sure I've memorized a song (which I also do with poems), and sometimes just because it fits my mood. Right now I'm singing "Putting it Together" by Barbara Streisand and "Free" from Barbie: Princess and the Pauper. Very different songs, but similar pace and pleasure from singing.

    Hey, I'm at 29.5k too! I have some catch up to do tomorrow. My first year, I finished on the 18th. However, that year I tried to pants it, and, well, I learned that I am an outliner. So it didn't go well. I probably could have finished the same time this year, if I'd wanted to. It come down to how I allocate my time. Usually, it's mostly given to reading. Currently, it's split between writing and playing SE and checking 17th Shard and doing more difficult homework than I've had in previous years and working for the play and... you get the picture. I could stop being on here so much and just write, and move a lot faster, but I enjoy doing this, and I'm not really that far behind with my novel. Plus I'll have plenty of driving time to catch up over Thanksgiving break. Lots and lots. Probably 5.5 hours total. Plenty of time. Now, back to writing!

    OOH! There is a very high likelihood that I will steal that. Wow. That's amazing, Kobold. Seriously. I really, really like it.For my own stuff, today I worked on the background for the novel I'm currently writing (because I needed to because my current MC is attendinga performance this evening telling a myth and I didn't know the myth yet). It's not quite finished yet, though. I haven't figured out where the stars come in, though.

    I talk to myself out loud all the time. It's variable, but when I'm walking I'm generally singing to myself. I talk when I'm doing math, and when I'm brainstorming, mostly.

    Well, it doesn't really flare the brightest. It stays the same brightess (unless there's a solar flare, which is not a good thing for humanity). It's just that the atmosphere gets clearer. Semantics, though. I could also talk about how the sun isn't a nuclear bomb because nuclear bombs are fission, not fusion, but your way is funnier.

    I assume it only works between Feruchemy and Allomancy, not within Allomancy. Also, I'll try to find that quote.

    But I like Scattegories! I usually play it with my family in partners, though, which is much more fun.How about Apples to Apples? Other than that, I don't know that there's much to say. We've lost another BioChromancer, which isn't too terrible, I suppose. There did seem to be a kind of lynch train on Honey Badger, but he was inactive for a very long time, so I'm not sure how suspicious that is. I don't have anything else to say... I'll come to the party!
