I think stealing a Shardblade would be very difficult, even for someone as accomplished as Vasher. Or do you mean, Was Nightblood previously a Rosharan Shardblade? If that's what you meant, then definitely not. Investiture resists investiture, and Shardblades are heavily invested already. Plus there's a WoB:

Welcome to the Shard! You might want to check out Arcanum, as Brandon has answered a LOT of our questions, and crushed many a theory. The Unmade are Splinters of Odium (Splinters being part of his power deliberately separated from him and shaped to do specific things). So they were not ever human. Heralds are humans who went to Honor and proposed the Oathpact to keep the Fused from terrorizing Roshar. The Stormfather drops a few nuggest of info in Oathbringer.

On Earth at least, there's a significant difference in infant health between even a 19 year old and a 20 year old. The breakdown is actually 16-19, then 20-24. But the rest, yes, I definitely agree with you. Shallan's a wreck. Slightly less of a wreck than at the worst point, but still a wreck. Having a child at this point would be a really really REALLY bad idea.
-
Yeah, with super high infant and maternal mortality... Shallan would likely be ok but... And then there's the mental and emotional part...
-
Ehhhh I am not too interested in getting into this argument again

So in order to stay young, Rashek would first store some youth in a small metalmind. He would then burn that metalmind, and store the excess youth from that compounding in another metalmind, which he would slowly tap. So burning duralumin wouldn't affect his tapping of the metalmind unless, for some reason, he was compounding at the time. Actually, since duralumin just releases all the power at once, he could still simply store the youth, in a big chunk instead of over time, and then tap it as normal. Either way, duralumin wouldn't affect his hacking of age.

I would be okay with that definition.
-
Nope, the spren is released.

I just think Shallan is way too young and immature to be a mother. Ditto with Adolin. She's what, 17, 18, so slightly less than 20 Earth years? WAY too young for bearing children to be healthy, physically and emotionally.

See, acolytes, by definition, don't fully understand/embrace how the Order works yet. So the acolyte probably thought that he was doing the right thing, but he didn't actually understand that they had to follow the local laws so strictly. Here is the quote from WoR, where the acolyte kills Gawx. As you see, he misunderstood and thought that the local laws didn't apply to him. It's not beyond reason, nor utter stupidity, that the one who went after Shallan did the same.

[OB] Can anyone give me some info you caught about Shallan
RShara replied to Dragon Reborn's topic in Stormlight Archive
How do we know what you don't know? -
Several of us have, yeah, but Dragonsteel has said that they don't want copies from other sources, or changed copies, distributed. Here's the post

We are absolutely spoiled lol. I was thinking this just 2 days ago. We're also spoiled in the amount of information he gives us and how often he interacts with fans
-
...Actually, that WAS the point I was trying to make....lol
-
...Yes? I don't see how that disproves my point? I'm sure they could have dug up something on Shallan, or gotten the highprince to do something, like happened with Stump.
-
We know that Ambition, Devotion, Dominion, and Honor are Splintered. Uh... spoilers for Mistborn So at least 4 (or 5) out of 16 (or 15). That's....kinda close to halfish? lol
-
Yep. He actually slit Gawx's throat, and Gawx was a kid. So a misguided acolyte could've easily decided he needed to kill Shallan, despite having no lawful approval to do so.
-
Well the acolytes are acolytes for a reason. Remember the one that almost killed Gawx, because he had to follow up on his threat?

[OB] why voidspren seem to break rules
RShara replied to jaddeth below's topic in Stormlight Archive
Presumably, Odium created them differently than H+C created the Radiant spren. Different investitures manifest in different ways. Seons and Skaze are essentially Selish spren (say that 3 times fast) and they are sapient without a bond. -
Also Odium's touch isn't Passion. And the Shard itself doesn't contain any Love, since Love (Devotion) is a different Shard. That he killed and Splintered. As Cal said, Honor would be incapable of breaking an oath or a promise, just like Preservation was incapable of destroying. Odium wasn't ever Invested on Ashyn that I know of. He had something to do with destroying Ashyn and he arrived on Roshar at the same time as the humans, and some of the humans gave him an ear, but it doesn't sound like Odium was actually their god.
-
I don't think so, as the Sibling was withdrawing before the Recreance happened. I speculate it was withdrawing because it wasn't bonded, and was losing some sapience.

Flaring atium should allow you to see further/better into the future (or rather, into the Spiritual Realm).

You are welcome!
