  1. Funny thing is, I've actually been planning a magic system pretty much exactly like this.
  2. Aon computers, where switches complete and break a circuit in the shape of an Aon to both compute and effect the physical world. So in Elantris, when you hit the Print button, it appears out of thin air.
  3. Gah, you beat me to it. Oh well, here's a WoB anyways.
  4. Elantris, few hundred years, Mistborn, few years, Warbreaker, a little under 300 years, Alloy of Law, few years, Stormlight Archive.
  5. We did find the shape it was based on. We didn't find any significance or reason that may have been behind it, however.
  6. And most of that was spent being silly, anyways. After all, that thread was where Gaston, the Greatshell Roshar is built on, was born.
  7. I'm pretty sure it's the silly threads that end up occupying 600 pages, not the Realmatic Dissertations.
  8. But they're entirely functional in the Cognitive, without any Radiant's Cognitive Aspect to bolster their own. So their Cognitive Aspect is normally big enough to not be overruled by Intent. It's just that when they're in the Physical, they can't really access that Cognitive Aspect on their own, and are more vulnerable to their intent taking over.
  9. I think all of those do have intent, but the spren have a much bigger Cognitive Aspect in relation to their Investiture, and so the Intent is just less powerful. Nightblood, however, has thousands of Breath bent to his Intent, and a rather small Cognitive Aspect in comparison, and so it's much more likely to be overruled completely.
  10. I think so. We know spikes are still functional after being melted down, reshaped, etc, so joining them together into a skeleton should be fine.
  11. In a word, Elantris. It's a massive power booster the size of an entire city. The weak, pitiful effects prior to Raodan fixing the Aon are the normal, unboosted level of Aondor power. There's also been some theorizing that prior to the creation of Elantris, all Arelons could use Aondor just like Forging, Dakhor, etc, and that Elantris concentrated that power into a select few, those struck by the Shaod, and thus gave them an extreme powerup.
  12. As far as I know, it is.
  13. Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 387973120 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 492222768 bytes) in Unknown on line 0 I didn't do it. I didn't, I swear! *killed by FatalErrorspren*
  14. And has tea-parties (If I add a hyphen, it's one word, right? )
  15. And peach cobblers Edit: Gah! Ninjas! Um, Really likes nails
