  1. I finished Baten Kaitos: Origins yesterday (FINALLY). Eh. Honestly, I kept waiting for the story to start. Music was kick-awesome though. And once I got The Godling's Rapture and started Pwning everything with The Apotheosis the battles became even more fun. Did I take out the Final Boss with The Apotheosis? Yes I did. If nothing else, it made me want to go back and replay the first one (again.) So I will!
  2. You dangerous, mute, lunatic. Oh, playing OoT on my 3DS. It's so... pretty. Specifically, the interiors of just about every house have been completely redone, and now actually look like someone might live there. It wasn't until I played this version that I realized that thing to the left of Link's bed is his SINK. Oh, also, it is OoT. That's a plus.
  3. Ouch. But still, no is the correct answer.
  4. Playing Wii Goldeneye 007 on the easiest difficulty setting and dying repeatedly. I'm not much of an FPS guy.
  5. Well, since Dragonsteel ended on an enormous cliffhanger, it's possible the eventually published version will continue on past the original ending. Especially since the entire thing will require massive re-writing anyway (no shattered plains, he's a better writer now than he was then, etc.) He could also mean that we'll learn more in the Dragonsteel Series, as opposed to just the one book.
  6. 7 years later I finally bought a new, working, memory card for my GCN. Started Baten Kaitos: Origins again and just yesterday finally caught up to where I was when my old Memory Card committed suicide. (Which was in Diadem.)
  7. I didn't read the post. But I already know everything about Nasir. He's a white dragon, and he's level 18 when you finally recruit him. But you can only get him if you beat the Black Knight.
  8. I just went through this entire thread, just to make sure. Two pages of webcomics, and not one mention of Dr. McNinja? SHAME ON YOU.
  9. Umm... I love that your profile picture is a shardmind. It seems appropriate.
  10. Didn't you guys post a call for questions on Facebook like two days ago? Are we not sitting on a giant pile of questions? This has been looked into, right?
  11. Did everyone see? She's making a book! With Pages!
  12. You...are a cube? Either that or the Sermon on the Mount.
  13. The way it's talked about, I get the feeling that The Thrill is something that the Alethkar have experienced for at least a few generations. If it were a new thing, people would probably talk about it more. As it is, it's kind of a taboo subject.
  14. As a matter of fact, they have done a 4E Tomb of Horrors. I see it every time I go to the Dragon's Keep (famous as the place where Howard Taylor draws Schlock Mercenary.) Of my current group though, only one person has extensive experience with D&D, and they are just barely to level three, so I haven't looked too hard at it. Also, I would like to announce that I have continued to DM for several consecutive months now, and I think that's amazing!
  15. Impulse bought Pilotwings. The 3D really works well in that game. Though if I go straight from playing to surfing the net my eyes start trying to lift the words off my computer screen for a few minutes.
  16. Why isn't there music?! I need to know why there is no music!
  17. I would like to announce that I own a Nintendo 3DS!
  18. I just bought a 3DS, but I didn't buy any software. This means that I'm playing Face Raiders. I'm just waiting for OoT next month!
  19. What about "The Sneaky Hate Spiral?" Or "This is why I'll never be an adult." Those are my favorites. Though "Wolves" was pretty awesome too.
  20. I've been waiting for the right moment to drop this tidbit. My cousin ran into Brandon in a bookstore once (crazy!) and asked him which of these two was more powerful. His response was that Nightblood is "several orders of magnitude more magical than a shardblade." It doesn't really answer your question, but it is definitely interesting, yes?
  21. "If there had been music... but no. Of course there was no music." That ending made me feel genuine concern for what goes on outside Kvothe's Story.
  22. "Most test subjects experience some cognitive deterioration after a few months. You've been under for quite a bit longer... So there is a slight chance that you may have a very minor case of serious brain damage. But don't be alarmed. Of course, if you do feel alarmed, then try to hold on to that feeling, because that is in fact the proper reaction to finding out you might have brain damage."
  23. If you just dove right into Portal 2, you could definitely figure out from context what's going on, and what happened in the first one. But the events of Portal 2 mean a lot more if you played through the first one, I think. I just got the Lunacy achievement in Portal 2. That just happened!
  24. I think the reason mankind is still standing is that Odium realized that constant adversity just made men band together and actually made them stronger. Leave them alone for a few centuries though, and they start squabbling and killing each other. And that's exactly what happened.
