So..it's been a while since I read SA. Sorry if this is a really dumb question answered in them. But what is Rosharan clothing made from? From what recall, they don't have cows and sheep, at least not outside Shinovar, so presumably fabric isn't made from leather and cool. I'd expect Chulls and Greatshells to be more chitinous than anything conducive to fabric. Do they have soft undetbellies or something? Sorry for the sudden bout of ignorance!

Not an American, so I don't have a voice...but at this point, I'd be genuinely afraid to vote for anyone other than Hillary. Not because she's great or anything. But I'm sort of genuinely terrified Stein and Johnson will siphon off enough votes from people to give Trump a shot. Any other year, eh, whatever. Vote according to your conscience. But seriously, this year? Yeah, no. Trump can not be allowed within spitting distance of the oval office. I've already said my piece before. But watching his rallies is...terrifying. And disturbing. And what started as a joke has me genuinely worries about what the next four years will be like. It'll be a mess whoever in office -and if he loses, you can bet Trump will stir stuff up- but the idea of President Trump is...

Just got back from Ghost Stories! No spoilers (unless you guys want them), but I enjoyed it. Hopefully the album has the rest if the guests though, since I figure that will improve the experience immensely. Also, I saw at least four Carlos, Cecil, two fem!Cecil, a Kevin (!?) and two Glow Clouds ALL HAIL

Quick question, relevant to my current situation: I'm signed into my hotels WiFi. It's password protected, so... Just wondering, is this secure? Should I be worried about picking up viruses from other guests using the connection or anything?

Under the caveat that I know nothing about how to build chaarcters: I love the aesthetic and the premise. Steampunk is a genre which is defined by it's cool, clockwork style, so I can absolutely see an epic deciding to define themselves in that kind of identity. ...But I'm not sure about the power set. The steam part, that makes sense (though I'm not sure if superheating it to plasma works, or is necessary. If you can create scalding hot steam, that's kind of dangerous on it's own). Presumably he'd have some sort of ehat resistance to it, to avoid... well, burning him with his own steam. ... But the healing factor, I'm less cool with. Partly because there is such flexibility with Wolverine that I have no idea how extreme you plan on making it; Old Man Logan barely shrugs off bullets, 616!Logan has regenerated from a single drop of blood. Even discounting that, though, I'm not sure if a healing factor is necessary, or really fun; unless you plan on having your guy take a lot of damage all the time, it sounds like he would just tank everything, which... doesn't sound like a lot of fun to me. (It's been a while since I read Recknoers, so not sure how a healing factor would be classified on the power scale) Same with the tech part... I'm a little confused. Do you mean he's a tinkerer, ad can build things, or is it literally a case of matter transmutation? One involves a guy scrimping and scrounging for junk to cobble together workable stuff (which might work as a high IQ, rather than a super power), while transmutation... yeah, that would be straight up super power, maybe even count as low-level reality warping, and might be a bit too big. ... Again, though, I have no idea how power scaling works. SO, probably better to wait for someone who knows what their talking about to come along.

...why not both? That isn't snark, by the way. Is there a reason you can't put the story on multiple sites?

Multiple choice questions. I always end up talking myself into "All these answers could be right if the question means X". Just let me write an essay. I hate second guessing myself, and at least that way I can outline my thought process.

Posted in Dalles, finally. Sorry forth delay. I find Lyla hard to write. Or rather, hard to write around. Her dialogue is easy enough -she's a motor mouth with barely any kind of a mental filter, so it's pretty stream of conciousness- but I find it hard to write her actions around that. It feels like I'm breaking the flow of the dialogue when stop to say "she did X".

'This is cool! This is so, freakin' cool!' Which was why she pressed the button on the camera five or six times, rather than just the one. Lyla wasn't nervous or trembling or anything; she just wanted to make sure she could preserve this moment forever. Scribblers question made her falter though, for just half a second. Lyla looked at her. Was she mad? No, that was dumb.Scribbler looked the same as any other epic. Better, actually, if Lyla was being honest. Most epics didn't know they were the subjects of photography, or expressed irritation at it. Scribbler was actually taking an interest. Super. Best. Friends. Forever. "Cool stuff, mostly," she said. Shiny had suggested letting her enthusiasm shine through, so she didn't bother trying to play it non-chalantly. "My mom and dad used to be big fans of, like, nature walks and stuff. I guess that kind of rubbed off on me a little? So, you know, trees and flowers and animals and stuff. That's pretty cool. I mean, I don't really get a lot of time when I can go out and get photos of that stuff, but when I can, that's kind of cool." It was also the kind of thing she wouldn't normally admit to liking, but she was already feeling connected with Scribbler. She was sure the feeling was mutual. "But mostly, it's epics. I mean, I'm your biggest fan. Not you, specifically -I mean, you, specifically, are awesome!- but epics, in general, Ya know? You guys are so cool! I mean, I was thinkin' it would be kind of cool to join the guard, and get to work with you guys all the time. That would be so awesome! I mean, for a Vanilla, anyway. So I used to try and get the guard to pose for photos and stuff too, but they kept actin' like I was getting in their way and all, so, yeah. Mostly epics. "Wasn't there a cat around here?" She started scouting the room for Games unfortunate pet. "We should absolutely get a photo with it too!"

So, I recently found Team Four Star's Dragonball Z Abridged. I know, I'm late to the party; I blame my own lack of socialisation. Point is, I found this series... and quickly fell in love and binge-watched the whole thing in a couple of days. So... I was wondering if anyone had any other abridged series they would, or could, recommend?

I... have no idea what Kirta is, and have never heard of it. I'll try looking into information about it! Yeah. I think my general computer inadequacies are going to be slowing me down a lot here, since I have... I know you can screenshot something and save it directly into folders; you've just said it's possible, and my work involves doing ti a lot. But I have no idea how to set that up to work on a default home computer.

I am... kind of considering making a Darths & Droids-style webcomic using Rwby. Someone explain why this is a terrible idea and dissuade me, stat.

As TV Tropes points out, Ozpin is named for the wizard of Oz, rather than a color. ...but then, that connects him to rainbows and emeralds, so...still has color connections?

I am so inadequate at computing that I can't even title right. Urgh. Okay, so...lately, I've been thinking it would be fun to make a screen capture comic. But I have absolutely no Deal how. I was asking around, and some people recommended paint.net and gimp as freeware programs that would be useful, since they have layers and stuff. Frankly, considering my current tool is Microsoft Paint, a more sophisticated tool would be appreciated. ...but I know nothing about computer software. Less than nothing; which is why I'm asking here. 1) Would paint.net or gimp be any use for this? Is there an alternatively guys would recommend? 2) Seriously, are these are legal and free? I'm always wary of accidently downloading something illegally and virus-y... 3) Any suggestions on how to get screenshots? Right now, I've just been taking print screens of the image, then resizing and cropping, but...I don't know if that's the "standard" method or not.

Doesn't using pokemon kind of spoil the suspension part, then?

Well, EQG4 got a UK premiere this morning. I'm between 12 hour shifts, so I didn't have a chance to watch it yet...and in fact, I've been largely spoiler free so far. So. Anyone want reactions when I do get it watched?

...my paycheck is two and a half hours light. I realise that isn't a huge amount in the grand scheme; about £20. But. I haven't been tallying up my paycheck each week, because I've been trusting my job to do that accurately. I'm going to email them about this one, but now I'm...concerned/annoyed that I might have gotten short changed in the past without realising it. -
I suppose if it was a cornerstone character of the franchise I wrote, I'd be protective too... ...but honestly? Alternative character interpretations are one of my favorite Tropes. I actually really, really enjoy seeing how different people interpret the same character, especially when it's a conclusion reached based upon evidence rather than "I don't like Character X, let's drag them through the muds for lulz to are my fave look better." So...yeah. I'm curious about this video now.

Well, I had a weird dream. I was watching the "beach episode" of Neon Genesis Evangelion. I don't remember Eva having a "beach episode", so that part was already weird. ...so the fact that it was a British re-dub of Eva, renamed 'We Don't Owe You Anything', where Shinji was called Simon made the whole thing stranger.

Now I want a Star Trek/Lovecraft crossover. Thanks. ... Anyhow. DC released a picture of Meera from the Justice League film. For those of you unfamiliar with the character? Meera is Aquamans wife, Queen of the ocean and total badass.

...well, it's an improvement over what I was previously earning? Eh. A lot of the guys I work with say I deserve a raise, but.... I don't feel I earn it. I don't do enough things better than enough people to deserve a higher wage bracket. My only real claim to stuff is that I am Lawful Stupid about following protocols, write really good reports and do every hour I'm asked. -

Well...that would be the flip side of it. My pay is pretty decent, about $10 an hour. So complaining is...probably hypocritical? Still.wish I had more free time.
