  1. You do know that you switching so much is going to put you in crosshairs once we do find Fain, Joe. And just to test your resilience, you can spell "color" however you want. BUT, since the only way for you to make your vote count is to spell it "color," I think you've already given in. I am wanting to hear Aman's defense of himself though. He said earlier that: So if there's some great reason for why we shouldn't expect you Aman, now would be the time to say it. You supposedly claimed Aiel-Blood before, so that leaves you pretty open to perform other actions.
  2. That was quick. Two votes for Maill for Mayor right on top of each other? With Fain and two corrupted, Adding another vote via Mayor would allow you to control the lynch fairly easily. I don't think either of you are Darkfriends, but they're not our biggest concern at the moment; Fain is. I'd rather at this point keep the mayor vote out of use for manipulation. As I've stated before, there's been no chance of me being corrupted (Proven by Nyali/Joe's attempt to divert my action and failing) and since I was detained last night when a corruption happened, I can't be Fain either. I trust that the both of them are not Darkfriends at this point (but even on that point, I could be wrong). But, I don't trust them to not be corrupted. At least not enough to allow this mayor-ship to go through uncontested. Mezal is the obvious choice for mayor so that we can keep it from being used against the village. I'd also be comfortable with Elodin, but since he's not been around as much, I can't say whether he's put in his actions and could thus be corrupted.
  3. Then at least tell us who has been cleared from the use of your power, Stink. As Sheep said, I was the one detained (not that I needed to be to be protected ). Which means that I can't be the Darkfriend or Fain and as long as you guys either trust me on my Dreamwalker status or test it for yourself at some point (though we did have Joe's attempt at redirecting me Night 2, iirc), then I'm pretty well cleared. @Gamma Fiend Can Fain and/or the Darkfriends send in orders via their Docs? I'm asking because typically Winter is a bit more invested and if Lopen is one of the Corrupted, then that seems like a pretty good cover for her. Not saying this is the case, but I'm not ruling it out until Gamma answers. Also, I'm going to ask since it doesn't seem as if we have any regular villagers (thus why no Dragon-Fangs), Can Fain have more than one role? And if so, how would that appear to a Viewer? If so, would they be able to use both abilities on the same turn? Without any regular villagers in the village, Fain showing up as a regular villager to a viewer wouldn't really help much. Granted, I don't think we likely have another Viewer, but we're still looking for Fain in the same way- by ruling out those that have taken some other action and there are only 5 people that I don't at least have some idea of whether or not their actions have been accounted for.
  4. @jaimeleecee Just checking, but you're aware that Whitecloaks turn their actions in during the day, correct? I know that you're not wanting to roleclaim, but depending on what action you did to Conq, someone could have still been detained.
  5. You guys are more than welcome to test my Dreamwalkerness. It's not like I'm going to forget to put the order in for it, that's for sure! I'm about 50/50 on Winter. She was pretty defensive early on, but from what I remember of her, she always tends to get like that when challenged; whether she's an Eliminator or not. Unfortunately, I feel like grasping at straws is all we can really do at this point. The final Darkfriend/s know that they're not going to be able to really control the lynch. So if they're up for the lynch, I see them just rolling with it more so than anything else. With only one corruption so far, Fain and the Corrupted aren't in a position to really try to manipulate the lynch either, but they'll be much more likely to at least try to not die at least.
  6. Don't start that you guys. As far as the coloring (so there) of votes goes, I'm of the opinion that if it's not broke, don't fix it. As long as what we already have working is still easier on everyone, then I'm all for it. We shouldn't switch it just because. But anything we can do to help make things easier on everyone should be an option. I just don't see how changing it from coloring to highlighting to bolding to anywhere in between will actually make it any easier on those that have to put in the BBC code each time. At least with the color, they're already used to doing that. So far, it just seems like there's a lot of extra steps to go through with a lot of these new systems and we want everyone to feel welcome to join us in our wholesale slaughter of each other.
  7. Just to let everyone know, there are quite a lot of formatting issues that we're trying to address with the site change. We're even going through past games to try to get some of the issues there taken care of (as well as some helpful things that we've wanted to do for awhile now ). This is most noticeable with the Pinned threads, as those are our introduction to our (Uber-Awesome, Utterly-Amazing, and Definitely-Not-Filled-With-a-Bunch-of-Serial-Killers ) Community here. So we'll be trying to reformat everything to continue to make it easier for everyone to read going forward. We won't likely be reformatting every post (so feel free to help out by finding your own and doing that as well!), but we'll make sure that all of the rules, etiquette, and such are done to make it as easy as possible for people to join in our fun. Please bear with us, as this will take quite a bit of time; which means we'll all be pretty busy; beyond our typical duties. Everything will continue as it has been; don't worry about that. The games will still run on schedule and such. Just, if we're not as quick on the uptake as we tend to be or something happens, cut us some slack. Also sorry if that happens. We're trying. Thanks in advance, because I know already that you'll all understand. This is just a heads up so we're all on the same page.
  8. So here's where things stand at the moment. Let me know if I missed something: Votes: Araris (2+1): Stink (+1 if Mayor), Bugsy Conquestor (1): Araris Hellscythe (1): Aman Hael (1): Lopen Rubiks (1): Meta Mayor Votes: Joe (1): Hael Stink (3): Stink, Jaime, Joe Personally, I've had a villagery read on Araris from Day 1. The fact that there hasn't been a lot of talk about it also says to me that we're just letting this happen rather than actively searching. Neither the Darkfriends nor the Corrupted will want to make waves at this point in time unless they have to. They're at a disadvantage unless we kill ourselves for awhile. Personally, I'd rather see Rubiks or Conquestor put on the block. I'm iffy about Hael. A lot of what he said earlier made me think Villager and I'm not about to judge him just because he has RL issues coming up. I'll move my vote if needed, but for now I'll leave it where it is. Just saying, this feels like a late game mislynch because we're feeling confident; not because of actual suspicions.
  9. There's still some glitches and rough edges to smooth out from the looks of it. I tried editing that write up to see if that would fix it and it just went back to the way it was once I had finished (Not to mention that sometimes the text just didn't show up to be edited at all). We'll see what we can do once the bugs are all worked out, but I think Eric deserves a chance to rest after spending all of today just getting the new site up and running! EDIT: Nevermind. I got it to edit properly this time. I'll start going through games, but it'll be a slow process.
  10. I'm still not entirely sure that I trust Bard, period. But, I don't think it would make much sense for them to be Fain and the Corrupted together and out each other like this either. Especially now that Maill is backing up this claim as well. There's only been the one corruption so far after all. So I'll remove my vote for Hellscythe. I'm not too sure on who I would suspect other than that though. I'd say that I have the least read of Rubiks right now, so let's see if we can get them talking a bit more.
  11. I was just thinking the same thing about Fain maybe being inactive. It's either that or they're trying to save their corruptions for later on. I just doubt that we're getting this lucky with Fain's corruptions going towards those that are detained or otherwise untargetable. Winter, Jaime, and Araris have been on during that time though; at least to some degree. I'm not quite sure about Rubiks and Hellscythe. I've gotten a villagery read on Araris right now, so I doubt he's Fain. So let's put some pressure on Hellscythe to come and speak up right now.
  12. I'd like at least one more of Straw's viewings before we kill him. So far, we only have one successful reading from him. If he is a Village Viewer, then the more people he can confirm, the better. It does concern me that the Darkfriends haven't gone after him yet though. You'd think that an outed Viewer would be a prime target for them. Then again, they tried to kill me and then killed Wilson, so maybe they just haven't gotten around to it yet. If we give him a few more cycles to scan people, the Darkfriends will have to decide whether or not it's worth it to them to kill him when we're planning to do so at some point anyways.
  13. There's this bit from Seonid that you seem to be ignoring, El: So either you're trying to place blame on both of us and stating that we're working together or you're reaching. Then there's this bit from last turn that caught my attention from you: And yet you were so sure of me in MR12. So it seems that you're not as uncertain in games as you want us to believe and you've seemed a lot more sure of yourself in other games. This is just one of the things that makes me feel off about you. Aman spelled out a lot more. I think you might be Fain. Obviously not a Darkfriend, as you helped lynch one of them and I don't deny that. But, killing Darkfriends is something you'd want to do as well since they stand in your way to victory as much as the Village does. Does this make you Fain? Of course not. But I still plan on keeping an eye on you at the moment.
  14. So your only real reason is a meta reason. One that I've pointed out is flawed because you're trying to guess the GM distribution (unless you also have outside knowledge by being a Darkfriend) when many GMs have gone out of their way to mess with what people would or would not expect in a game. Voting for Sart is just the beginning of my evidence for myself, not the end all, say all. You'll want to also explain why everything else I've done (a lot that I've already listed) is counter intuitive to the Darkfriends while also somehow making me a Darkfriend. I was on for the Gunshy lynch as well and didn't do anything to try to stop it. That's actually a good question: does everyone buy Bard's explanation after the fact? Seems to me that you're pushing that narrative a little far, considering the only person who really defended you when I brought it up last time was El. Most people just didn't say one way or the other. Now, I'm not saying that you are a Darkfriend. I just think that you're trying to push the idea that either Elodin or I are a bit hard at this point.
  15. Bard, I'd like to introduce you to QF2. I don't expect you to read it all, but I GM'd that game and I put in a lot of Thugs in that game (Aiel-Blooded for a comparable role in this game). My point is that just because there are multiple of a role absolutely does not mean that there is an evil one. There are plenty of examples of this happening in other games. In one, we focused on Spanreed users and the Eliminators got rid of their Spanreed. I pulled similar trick when GMing AG2 with Smokers. If that is your only reason for doubting our alignment, it's not a very strong reason, IMO. As I said before, I don't see how or why the Darkfriends would detain one of their own and until we hear from Sheep, I'm of the opinion that Gunshy was the one to detain him. All detaining him did was put him under a lot of scrutiny and almost got him lynched. That's not a smart play, especially with Elodin having the means to protect himself. Beyond that, Elodin has proven his claim fairly well by avoiding the Wolfbrother attack last night. Beyond that, he can't have been corrupted yet due to him being detained on the first day (Which also means that he can't be Fain) and then used his role on the second. For me to be a Darkfriend, you'd have to accept the idea that I took out our Forsaken on the first day. As I've said before, I was on during the time where the votes were trying to shift (partially by you, btw. I still don't entirely buy your explanation for those switches. It very well could have been faked and with the amount of detail you went into with it, kind of feels a bit like what I'd expect a Darkfriend to do to try to cover themselves after making such an attempt, IMO) and I stuck to my guns about Sart due to the way it seemed like people were defending him*. Then, I'd have to pull a WGG by taking the Darkfriend hit during that night; setting the Darkfriends back even further. THEN, I'd have to not try to take credit for that, thus undoing any additional goodwill that could have bought me. And finally, I'd have to forgo using my role and position to get information about everyone's roles and gain their trust. That's quite a lot of hoops you'd have to jump through just to try to make either Elodin or myself seem like we are Darkfriends/corrupted. See? This is why I didn't want to have to come out of the shadows like this. IMO, the evidence is just too strong and between Elodin and I. It makes it so that we effectively counter both of the Eliminator teams. *In fact, I find it a bit suspicious that people keep treating the Sart lynch as if it was only about him wanting to have a discussion about whether or not to lynch. That is not what made me keep my vote on him. It was due to the way that people seemed to be trying to draw votes off of him.
  16. Fine. If this is how you guys want it to be, I'll fully explain myself. I'm a Dreamwalker. I've used my ability every night. After we killed the Forsaken on the first day, I figured out that I'm basically uncorruptable and almost unkillable. I even hinted at my Dreamwalker status in my first RP, in case you wish to doubt me. This is also why Joe was unable to move my action; Dreamwalking comes before redirections. I haven't wanted to say anything for two main reasons. The first is that I was hoping to find out if any of the Channlers that wind up dead were the Darkfriend Channler (I suspect that they have one after all). The other is due to the meta. As I said, Fain can't corrupt me and by helping take out the Forsaken on day one, I'm pretty close to cleared. If my role came out (as it is now) then I did not want to turn this game into a Follow-the-Cop situation. But, by being in such a strong position, it wouldn't take long for people to wind up revealing to me. So I've been hanging out on the sidelines; making sure that I didn't make the game unfun for everyone else. Now, here's what I think happened. After the first day, there were still plenty of people that were somewhat suspicious of me; especially in comparison to Wilson. I suspect that the Darkfriends took that as a sign that, out of the two of us, Wilson was the most likely to get protection. But leaving both Wilson and I alive would be dangerous for them, so they tried to hit me. This is why there wasn't a Darkfriend kill on the first night, IMO. Next night, they go for Wilson because they figure that they guessed wrong and that Wilson would be open to attack. There's also the missing Fain Corruption. Considering that Elodin had said that he was going to be dreamwalking to prove himself from the wolfbrother attack, they obviously wouldn't go for him and I doubt that we were lucky enough to detain Fain. I believe that there was a decent probability that Fain tried for me. That brings us to where we are now, where if they can't get rid of me at Night or turn me to their side, their only option left to them is the lynch. Is this a bit egotistical? Definitely and I'm sure that I'm wrong about a few of those actions. But I think it makes more sense than a lot of the other theories that have popped up (Elodin being detained by a fellow Darkfriend to protect him by also drawing attention to him? How does that even make any sense!). So there. It's all out there now. I'll probably continue to be somewhat silent because I don't want to influence the game too much from my position. But I highly doubt that Elodin is a Darkfriend and as long as he's been using his power every night as I have, they won't be able to get to him. So whatever you do, I wouldn't go after him if I were you. EDIT: Looks like I was at least correct about Night 1, based off of Seonid's post.
  17. As I've explained to Maill, I'm the closest you guys have to a confirmed Villager at the moment. Lynching me would be a very big mistake. Don't say I didn't warn you. Lopen, you wound up listing a bunch of different reasons for why you find me suspicious. Except that most of those reasons were some of the exact ones that made you agree with Wilson earlier in the game. Why are you flip flopping on them now? El, you're my other suspect at the moment and not just because you're voting for me. I think Aman has about the right of it and I've felt that you've been playing this middle of the road act a bit too strong. Even after everything, you don't have any better suspicions than myself? The only reason for that, IMO, would be because it's more difficult to form suspicions when you already know everyone else's alignment. And because I don't really want El or Lopen to have the Mayor again, I'd rather give it to Aman at this point. EDIT: and as far as my silence goes, know that there is a reason for it. I'm not talking on purpose, not because I'm not paying attention.
  18. I'm getting really sick of hearing this so I'm going to address this once. You guys do know that by making me have to spell this out, you're also making it so that it can be planned for in the future, right? Yes, I'm aggressive. I throw suspicions out there almost haphazardly. That's because the suspicions themselves aren't all that important. It's how people react to them that is. It generates discussion, gives everyone something to start from (rather than talk about metagaming stuff), and if I hit a bit too close to home, someone might get a little too defensive. Or someone else might come to defend someone because they see a possible attack on a teammate. I look for hints of teamwork; something that the Villagers tend to lack early game, so it stands out more when Eliminators do so. And guess what? It worked for the first day. Unlikely Keland, I was around when things were starting to shift from Sarah. I specifically said that I was keeping my vote where it was due to how I read the people trying to defend Sarah. I had every opportunity to shift my vote, but didn't. You want me to be clear? Well, in doing so, you're also asking me to tell the Darkfriends how I try to find them. So I hope this is worth it to you.... Honestly Keland, I'm surprised that you're making as big of a deal out of what I said. I explained all of this to you in the PM and I specifically said that I don't give the reason much weight. Definitely not enough to actually accuse you of being Fain. But, then you get so defensive of it that you're causing me to wonder if, as I said above, I might've hit a bit too close to home for your liking. As far as Ba'Alzamon goes, this feels too easy to me. The only person that's really come to his defense is himself. This just feels like exactly the type of lynch that the Darkfriends want; an easy target, one that everyone will suspect, and that they can argue for without implicating themselves. On the other hand, we've had a few people try to defend Ruon. Lomion even brought up his own defense (which I view as something that could easily be faked) to try to help clear him. I'm not saying that every lynch of a Darkfriend will be opposed, but consider their position right now. They've already lost one powerful role. Giving up another one of their members will put them in a very unfavorable position. Ba'Alzamon's lynch just seems too easily agreed upon, IMO. Now, granted, he still could be Fain as I brought up on Day 1. But I don't think he's likely a Darkfriend.
  19. Sorry I haven't been on recently everyone. The last few days have been busier than expected. I'm hoping that from here on out, I'll be good to go by tomorrow. After my reread the other night, my two biggest suspicions of people that seemed to be trying to save Sarah are Cenn and Ruon. Ruon in particular wound up switching his vote almost as much as Ba'Alzamon did and yet no one has really brought that up as they have with Ba'Alzamon. To me, it seemed like he was more than willing to hop on any vote that got close enough to possibly save Sarah. I'm voting for Ruon because he's still my biggest suspect; not because of the miscalculation from today's events. Also, Jak. While I don't necessarily trust him, unless we want the mayor role to just be up in the air, we need more votes for mayor. It only takes one vote to change the mayor and we've already had a few votes (some of them for Ruon no less). So, if you don't have someone else in mind for mayor, might as well stick with the one we have right now. I'll be honest, I've had the same thought. I even asked Keland about it last night. I'm not saying I actually think this is the case, but that I could see it. Having both Keland and myself be Villagers, some could consider that pretty powerful in and of itself. I could see Gamma balancing things by putting her not as a Darkfriend, but on a team by herself for awhile. But this is very metagame reasoning, so I don't give it too much weight. As far as Gunshy and Keland's arguments for it, I could see it. It does seem to be a bit of a slip and that's exactly the type of thing we're looking for. Just depends on how much Bugsy would talk about the subforum with Gunshy before getting them to sign up. I'd like to hear from Gunshy before we wind up lynching them for it though.
  20. I really want to upvote the OP like a hundred times. Sorry Darkfriends, that's a really harsh break for you, but I'm very happy that my intuition is still on point! I think it really behooves us now to look at all of those that were trying to steer the lynch away from Sarah. Not all of them will be Darkfriends and I wouldn't say that we should focus solely on them, but I definitely think that they would be trying to move the lynch away from their Forsaken. Really, the reason I kept my vote where it was is because I felt like some people were trying to draw people off of that vote and that made me more suspicious of Sarah than the whole bit with D1 lynches. If people are trying to get the Village to do a certain thing, then I figure that there's likely a motive behind it and in this case, the only thing that really made sense was Sarah being a Darkfriend. I totally didn't expect Forsaken though! I'll get some RP up a bit later tonight, but I'm going to go back through the thread first and see who I suspect in light of this result.
  21. I'm not seeing anywhere in what Cenn asked you had to do with asking if Sarah was a Darkfriend or not.
  22. You seem to feel pretty confident that Sarah will show up as a Darkfriend. You're already trying to implicate Kendal and I for something that hasn't even happened yet. Why is that? Now I'm thinking that when I posted this bit: The Darkfriends might have taken that to heart. That's the problem with stating things flat out like that. The Darkfriends are capable of seeing it and trying to use that to their advantage. Considering that we haven't seen a bandwagon like this in a very long time, I feel that there's something different about this one. Between that and Amaiya's confidence that Sarah will turn up as a Darkfriend, I'm willing to leave my vote right where it is. As far as the Mayor thing goes, Lomion seems to have it in the bag. But, considering that I don't trust her much at all at this point (her last post was basically just filler about PM safety again), I'd like to offer up another candidate in Lorien.
  23. So here's where I'd put everyone after rereading everything: Amaiya: Please explain your vote on Hael? What circumstances are those? Just saying that there are circumstances doesn't really help the rest of us any. Same with your vote for Lomion for mayor. Saying that you'd like to see what they do with it isn't really a great reason. Why do you not want me to have an extra vote? I get that you're on mobile, which is why I'm not suspicious of you for your terse responses, but a little more would be helpful. So many unanswered questions with Amaiya and that's not helping me get a read of them. Cenn: Their concern about maintaining discussion seems a bit forced to me. It's only halfway through the turn and votes can change as new information is figured out. I'm slightly leaning towards Darkfriend, but it contingent on Sarah's alignment to a degree. Lomion: A lot of her early posts feel very mimicy and yet, for some reason, she's been getting credit for saying what other people already said. Jak already mentioned PM safety before she did and Kendal already brought up the stuff about Day 1 lynches. Then there's her focus on a mystery role. The fact that she keeps going on about a PM Spying role makes me think that she's either saying this because she knows one exists (likely because she is said role or because a Darkfriend teammate has said role) or because it's easy to contribute advise about a role that doesn't exist and seem to be helping. A large part of the rest of her posts have been about game related things, like figuring out the naming situation, but not specifically about her own suspicions or anything like that. Which makes me very surprised at how much people seem to trust her so far. Nikel Fain: Only one post and it's entirely RP. I'm hoping we'll hear more from him soon, but if I recall correctly, he did say that he wasn't going to be able to get on as much first cycle. Eryn: Kind of the same boat as Cenn. Something just feels a little off, but they've been active and trying to figure things out too. Still pretty neutral, IMO. Llewalla: Hasn't said anything yet and hasn't been on since before the game started as is. Difficult to read someone when they haven't done anything at all. Lorien: Not a lot said, but I like how they stuck to their suspicion of Lexaven. Feels fairly Villagery to me. I especially like how they urge people to follow their suspicions up with a vote rather than just stating them. If no one votes, then their suspicions don't mean much. They could always just be saying that they're suspicious without actually being so! While it could be a tactic to try to move votes away from Sarah, even if it is, I approve of this attitude. Ba'Alzamon: I find that people tend to focus on those areas that they have a vested interest in. For example, a Wolfbrother might ask what people's opinions are on Village Night Kills to get a read on where everyone stands in the game. So Ba'Alzamon coming right into the game and saying that we shouldn't worry about the Corrupted makes me think he might be Fain. Conversion roles can quickly overwhelm a Village and we shouldn't just ignore them, IMO. Both are quite a serious threat. Last game, Kas was Good Guy Fain and was luckily found out early, so the Village didn't have to worry about it much. I doubt we'll be so lucky this time. Ana-alline: Hasn't said anything, but has been on in time to see that the game has started. Typical Lurker stuff. M'Hael: Not enough for me to swing either way at the moment. Perhaps a slight Village lean due to him being a little annoyed with Gladium's vote and Phil's trolling. Kendal: I put her in the likely Villager pool, because a lot of what she's been saying is stuff I would entirely agree with. But that very thing is what worries me. A lot of her reads seem very natural rather than faked. A lot of what she's said is also very unhelpful to the Darkfriends. They want to help create confusion, not dispel it. Ruon: The way they went after Jak seemed like a Villager trying to figure things out, but they just haven't said enough for me to hold to that opinion. Tazrim: Not a lot said, but I'm leaning slightly towards Villager. Gladium: Only posted a Mayor vote for Lomion, so not a lot to go off of. Unfortunately, this seems to be pretty typical of him and we're likely not going to get much more out of him.... Sarah: I think I've already said plenty about why I'm suspicious of Sarah. Doesn't help when people seem to be defending them for little reason. Lexaven: There's only one thing that bothers me about Lexaven. In the beginning, they started by defending me and saying that I'm just playing as I typically do. Then, it turned around and made me suspicious. Until they explain why and how such to diametrically opposed ideas came to be, I'm suspicious. Bugsy: Not a lot said, but their reasons for voting for Sarah seem genuine and Villagery to me. Trafalgar: Hasn't said anything, but has been on after the game has started. Jak: I'm not overtly suspicious of Jak at the moment. There have been some things that have made me suspicious, but there have been plenty of things that make me think that he's a Villager as well. Definitely 50/50 at this point for me. Gunshy: The only thing that popped out to me about Gunshy's post was when they said that Lomion seemed to be playing up the innocence. I don't think that a Darkfriend would likely come up with that idea, so slight Villager lean. Alain: I like their view of how the lynch should work, but that doesn't tell me anything about what they're really thinking this game. Considering I have a slight uneasy feeling about both Cenn and Eryn as well, I feel more inclined to think Villager, but I don't want to be swayed by just him agreeing with me. Cubik: Hasn't said anything, but has been on after the game has started. Phil: Typical Phil; trollish. Can't say one way or the other because there's not really much to get a read off of! Brigitte: Mostly a gut read, but their approach to this game seems very Villagery to me. I'm not a fan of how they're still voting for Kendal when they've basically said that they'll remove it. If that's the case, then why not move your vote to someone that you actually find suspicious? It seems to be voting for votings' sake, which worries me. Locke: I agree with him that I would much rather see the Mayor go to someone else other than someone like myself or Keland. But, I'd much rather keep it out of the hands of the Darkfriends period. If I were to vote for anyone other than myself, it would likely be Lorien or Alain. Both are people that I suspect are Villagers, but not with enough surety at this point. Considering that's about the only thing that Locke has said (devil's advocate aside), I can't say much about their alignment. They could just be trying to keep the Mayor role out of the hands of players that he knows to be Villagers and make it a little more likely that a Darkfriend could get it after all. Douza: I like that they're looking out for difficulties with the switching Mayors thing. That is definitely something we need to consider. If we don't vote for a Mayor, even the same person whom we've already made Mayor each day turn, then it won't take much for close votes to be swung by just someone late voting someone for Mayor. This is definitely something we need to consider. That said, that's all they've said, which isn't helpful. And that's everyone. There are a few other things I wouldn't mind addressing, but this took longer than I wanted to begin with. So those will have to wait till later. EDIT: Bolded names to make it easier to read.
  24. Thanks guys. I caught it the first time. This is why I shouldn't post right before going to bed! I even went back through the thread to make sure that Lomion hadn't posted before writing that and I still wound up skimming right past it. By putting a second vote on Sarah, I did three things: One, I effectively made the entire argument about whether or not we should or shouldn't lynch a moot point. Two, I put pressure on Sarah to address the concerns people have had and to contribute more. Three, by creating a situation where someone is going to be lynched, it also opens up the conversation to see who is trying to defend against the lynch and who is trying to push for it. This is where we're most likely to find Darkfriends, as they'll want to try to defend or deflect votes away from their own so they won't be lynched. That's a huge part of what kind of discussion we should be looking for in the first place! This is why just stating that you're suspicious of someone doesn't have enough bite to draw the Darkfriends out; because their teammates don't have to really do anything to stop someone from being suspicious. And that's why I'm getting quite suspicious of the people that keep trying to claim that 2 votes on someone is a bandwagon or an attempt on one. Can anyone show me a game from recently where there was more than only a couple votes for someone to be lynched on the first day? How about a game recently where more than half the players in the game even wound up voting? My point is that it seems like you're all worrying about something that just doesn't really happen here in the first place. Why? Cause to me, it looks a bit like you're trying subtly to get votes removed from Sarah at the moment. Now, if a true bandwagon had formed, then I would've been one of the first to call it out for such. In fact, because we have so few people voting recently, we've lost the ability to learn as much from the votes. If a bandwagon had formed, we could feel a bit more secure in the idea that the Darkfriends were okay with our lynching choice and could start searching elsewhere. As far as my aggressiveness goes, all I can say is that's how I play. I make accusations so that people have to defend against them. This gets them talking and gives other people something to respond to as well. Trust me when I say that none of my suspicions are concrete yet. I've just caught up, so I'll add my thoughts about where my thoughts are now in a bit. I want to do another reread beforehand. Not to mention that there's been multiple posts just while I've been typing this!
  25. Lomion hasn't posted at all... What are you trying at? Between you and Amaiya, you're pushing a Mayor vote on someone that hasn't even spoken up yet. You have no reason to think that they'd be a Villager or a Darkfriend unless you have some outside knowledge (like being a Darkfriend yourself) to base this off of. So at least explain the reasoning behind your vote please. Sounds like a defense of Sarah to me. Two votes isn't an instant lynch. It's still too early to call that. Thus why I think you're being a bit defensive. Why?
