  1. So I forget. Did we know who had the doll? Could this be a doll kill, or is this likely just a Elim kill? Edit: @firstRainbowRose Is it possible to get official vote tallies? Or do we have to keep track of things ourselves and just speculate about any vote shenanigans?
  2. Well, sure. More destroy his cognitive shadow with silver.
  3. If shades are a concern, then we don't want an open flame, we don't want blood, and no running at night. Scapegoat makes the no blood thing hard, running at night could maybe be player actions, and I don't know where flame comes into it. Unless the game has an arsonist that we have to stop. Alternatively, dead people can become shades and we have to kill Rubix properly?
  4. D: Wilson died... Looks like it was shorter this time.... I did end up posting a character name before the game started - Horatio Heatherlocke. Sorry, been busy, so I'll need to reread last cycle, then I may edit or add a new post.
  5. Now if the spam involved a groundbreaking solution using off the shelf tech, maybe I'd be interested
  6. What? A Seonid ad? I'm all for a no lynch until we've definitely confirmed we have an extended cycle, and everyone has received roles and such.
  7. Fair. We have very little idea what's going on though, so I'm assuming nothing
  8. Well, to be fair, you've not actually told us how long cycles are, or when this one ends so really, we wouldnt know the difference.
  9. It wouldn't surprise me if potentially lynching the GM at this stage might do something, but I would very much doubt it would be the solution to the central mystery of the game. Hero, assuming you're not trolling, I assume the lovers is just the standard if one dies, the other dies too?
  10. I did make preparations for this scenario...
  11. Firstblood to Wilson then?
  12. I shall be Horatio Heatherlocke, hailing from one of the Fort Towns, here due to an honest misunderstanding.
  13. Uugghh. The mystery is too great, and you've got me intrigued... I'll sign up, with name and background coming once I've read Shadows for Silence.
  14. My intent had been that it's the only the Lucifer appears in the text (of the KJV at least), though fair point. The point is still that it's not intended to be a name, and definitely not of a hypothetical devil/angel. And that's cool/interesting piece of trivia!
  15. You lost the battle though
  16. Lucifer literally means Morning Star. And the only time the word appears in the Bible is in Isaiah 14:22, which is just talking about the King of Babylon (v4,22). Most translations opt to translate it 'morning star' over 'Lucifer' as well. As far as ParadoxicalZen's question goes - I personally don't believe in any Devil/Satan or what have you (the devil is just a reference to our tendency to sin (so James 1:14-15 is basically the extent of it)). So my response would be nothing like that happens at all, but that's possibly not so useful to you.
  17. Having become one of those 'In the know', I can corroborate Oversleeps story.
  18. Yeah, as elbereth said, it didn't actually effect the game, and it made for an interesting dream sequence for the opening writeup. And yes, read all Joe's games
  19. I mean, during sign ups for my first game, I gave everyone a secret kill role, which let them kill someone before the game started, just to see what people did with it.
  20. Upon reflection, I'm going to be busier than I thought, so I'm going to have to drop out, I think.
  21. You should be safe I don't think Claincy is any less busy, and Burnt doesn't do QFs. Edit: Are the skybreakers roleless? Or can they have any role?
  22. And if I join too? Signing up as Draen, a spearman with an axe attached to the head of his weapon. I probably won't be RPing El.
