Conclusion: Deepest apologies - have to take Dad to the airport earlier than expected, so lost a bunch of time to get this, and the last half dozen, write ups done. I’ll get to them once I’m home. The Flash was lynched. They were a Friend of the ABC and a Rioter. The Infiltrators have won! They have as many remaining living players as the Friends of the ABC. The Neutrals all won too! This is a bit late, I guess, though from later posts, you may have worked it out anyway? Rioting doesn't cancel your own vote in this (unlike the standard way it's used in games - I went more thematic this time).

Aaaaggghh.... ): My apologies for taking so long - twas a busy day... There's honestly no good solution here that I can think of, so I think I'm just going to go with what I *think* is the least bad option - Asterion assumes Striker's role/alignment, and Striker dies. And with that goes my apologies for making a mess of things. I'm very sorry. So the question becomes - do we need an extension to the night cycle? Would it be of value to discussion to have an extra 12-24 hours? From my perspective, night cycles haven't been tons fruitful thus far, and orders tend to come in the last 24ish (or really 12) hours anyway. I'd be of a mind to just keep it about normal. But to give people time to respond and stuff, I will push rollover back by 2.5 hours to the original time, just to give a bit more time for the time I've wasted in getting back to you.

Because it's 1:30 AM and no one that I can talk to is on, I'm going to have to sleep on this, and try work this out in the morning. If necessary, I'll extend the night cycle to make up for lost time, depending on the solution.

I will point out that this is the reason why I put in the vote tallies with the vote history - any vote manipulation would not appear on the vote tally with history, only the final tally. Thus it should have been clear from the tally with history that it was GM error due not noting the votes properly. (A side note: votes on the far right of a line are hard to notice if you're used to reading left to right, top to bottom...) Night 4 Thanks go to Elenion for the writeup! 9:00 AM: The sun had come up, and those at the barricade were becoming anxious. The constables' attacks had ceased halfway through the night, and everyone assumed it was because they had directed their focus to a less risky and more sinister plot to take the barricade. Roger Elariel had volunteered to take a sentry shift for the morning, but as he leaned up against the barricade with his gun he felt a hand on his shoulder. "You're wanted down at the other end of the barricade," Keera Wilde said. "Why in the rusting blazes would they call me right now? Don't they know I'm on a guard shift?" Roger replied, obviously hungry and therefore hangry. "It was Julie who asked me to fetch you. Come on, Jay will take your shift." Feeling reassured that it didn't sound like something too serious, the Elariel heir followed Keera. 9:30 AM: Roger Elariel stood in a circle of those whom he had once considered his friends. Aimes was there, whom Roger had hardly noticed before. Keera was as well, and so was Dandi. No surprise there, because Roger had made several accusations against the latter. Julie was also there, but she stayed at the back of the crowd. They made eye contact once, but then she lowered her head to break Roger's grim stare. He had thought that her, of all of them, might stand up for him, because of their earlier conversation. He had told her everything, family secrets that his father would have killed to keep silent. Now, it had come to this. "What are the charges against me?" the Elariel heir asked. "Failure to assist in proper strategizing against the constables. Dereliction of duty. Disappearance during several key constable movements..." The list went on. At the end of it all, a hat was passed around. Each member of the crowd had two marbles, one white and one black. One was placed into the hat from each member. The hat finally came to rest in Julie's hands. She dumped its contents. "All black," she said, and the crowd fell deathly silent. No more needed to be said. "No!" Roger Elariel screamed, "To be killed by my comerades would be an act of humiliation even beyond what House Elariel has experienced at the hands of my father! If I must die, allow me to die like a man, so that I and my house may keep our honor." 10:00 AM: Holding nothing but his gun, Roger Elariel climbed over the barricade and charged the constable position at a dead sprint. The mob was at his back, no man ran with him. "For the honor of Elariel!" he screamed. He didn't make it twenty meters. Elenion was lynched. They were a Friend of the ABC and a Smoker. To be clear, I shifted rollover 2.5 hours forward so the Sunday rollover could be done, and its been that way since. Still 48 hour cycles, just earlier

Day 4 6:00 AM: Sun is thinking about coming up, and the rain has abated somewhat. A few people have gone to try scavenge some supplies. 6:15 AM: A gunshot rang out, and Mykal cried out, falling away from the front of the barricade, where he'd been trying to recover some discarded metals. Note: It was only upon later recollection that people realized that it had been odd that he fell away from the barricade, rather than slump against it. The bullet had come from someone defending the barriacde, not from those attacking. Immediately, gunfire started from both sides. Any further thought of scavenging was forgotten. 6:45 AM: More dead. Always more dead. Bartolomeus Teki had even managed to die to coin that had passed right through his chest, so not even to a gun. Aman has been killed.
