Ooh, ok. News to me.

Ok, I looked through the Theoryland Database and couldn't find a tag for Nazh. I looked through the worldhoppers tag and and didn't see anything Nazh related. So here goes. Do we know which planet he is from? He is part of the 17th Shard but maybe Sazed wanted him to spy on the 17th Shard while gaining intel on the cosmere. Could he be the Kandra spy?

Recent WoB said that Harmony is still the only Shard there, so it must be one of his. Someone is clearly interfering, however I think its safe to say they haven't actually invested in Scadrial yet. I'm sure Sazed would be able to notice something like that.

Renarin also has a blood disorder, which is why he doesn't train with weapons in a highly militaristic society, and he has a form of Autism. The Blade screaming in his head is just another thing that happens to him on top of everything else.

I think it would be a more interesting fight if Vin had a minutes worth of atium and Szeth had his Honourblade and a pouch of spheres. Vin would play it defensive and study what Szeth is doing. She'll be good at dodging his Blade, and realize that he can suck in Stormlight. Her move would be to separate him from his pouch. If she can get in close past his Blade, Szeth is dead. If she runs out of metals she's dead. I think I'd say Szeth though, if he has his Blade. If we're going with Szeth Returned then I'll say Vin.

I saw a WoB that said there were spren on Roshar before Honour even showed up. At least I think, I'll try to find it. Anyway, Shards can Invest without splintering, maybe that's what the old spren were, but then when the KR killed them and turned them into the Shardblades, it broke Honour. Or, maybe the Oathpact was made by Tanavast's Shadow rather than the original Tanavast, and he was Splintered all along. The recent betrayal however, made him hesitant to let his spren return to the Physical Realm.

I actually think most of the Selish magic can't be used in other places is because there's none/hardly any left in the spiritual realm, which is the same everywhere. It only works in areas where there is a buildup of power in the cognitive realm. To access the Dor in other places, I think you would have to actually move some of the Dor to where you want to magic, or somehow put some back into the spiritual realm. Or am I just grandly missing things? Edit: Perhaps there is some Dor tied to the staff in the cognitive realm, and bringing it somewhere would accomplish what I said above?

He was present when Adonalsium was shattered several thousand years ago. He is immortal, and has Yolish Lightweaving (similar to Shallan's but a little different. I think it is what you see him using when he shows Kaladin the story with the fire) and he can use it to change his appearance. We know he has some form of Feruchemy, Allomancy, a number of breaths (enough to have perfect pitch at the very least), and the ancient powers of Adonalsium including the above mentioned Lightweaving. Come to think of it, he could use Breaths to change his appearance if he has a Divine Breath. Maybe even Feruchemy if he has more of a grasp on it than we do (atium changes age, strength changes your muscles, etc). But Hoid is far older than any human ought to be (WoB) but he hasn't experienced all those years.

Some recent WoBs suggest that Dominion and Devotion (as shattered Shards) heavily manifest in the cognitive realm, which is why the magic is very locational. If you have a buildup of power in one area of Sel's Cognitive realm, then the physical realm will represent it with a magic system. I think you are also correct in saying that the spiritual realm is virtually the same everywhere. Which is also why Hoid can use allomancy on Roshar. I assume you could also bring a spren away from Roshar rather easily, IMO. I think I also saw a WoB which said that the buildup of Dominion's and Devotions power was more like plasma than anything else. Which would probably be why its difficult to worldhop through it.

Maybe certain gems could work on Roshar, spiking the spren bond out of someone. Maybe its how the Parshendi capture spren as well?

See, I introduced my girlfriend to Brandon's books before WoR came out and to date the only ones she hasn't read are Warbreaker and SoS. She knows about the cosmere but thinks its way too complicated and we are all just making half the stuff up. But the other night I started explaining things to her and sh amazingly didn't tell me to stop. She even asked a few questions. And at the end of it all, she said she actually didn't feel all confused. There is yet hope. HoA spoiler:

The world during TLR was too hot for travel between the north and the south. Each civilization was at a pole. They could have been technologically advanced during TLR but likely would have lost most of that during the Catacendre.
