  1. WoB says that there is only Harmony as a shard on Scadrial. However, that doesn't mean that another shard or shards aren't interfering, it just means they haven't gone there and Invested yet. Maybe Paalm was used/sent to clear the way. Do we know for certain that each Shard only gets one Shardpool? The pools in Rock's story seem to say that there are several there. Maybe other Shards have their pools scattered around?
  2. Oooh. Well that's interesting. By then, maybe it's MeLaan. SoS spoiler: EDIT: I found this. It doesn't really confirm or deny that Alloy is during Stormlight or after book five, but which quote is canon?

I think Jason Momoa would actually fit the young Lord Ruler better. Dockson always seemed a bit older and scholarly to me. And for some reason he sound Scottish/Irish in my head.
  4. SA happens about 30 years after Alloy I think.
  5. I kinda think he meant Kandra worldhoppers.
  6. The picture of the visitor has a beard though, and Iyatil is (I'm pretty sure) a woman. Not completely convincing but still seems unlikely that it's her. Maybe its someone from her world? possibly a member of 17s or a Ghostblood? The beard could indicate Parshendi too, don't the men have beards?
  7. when the dark oculator is torturing Grandpa Smedry, something about Ryshadium is mentioned
  8. Oh come now. You know that won't stop this fandom.
  9. Keep in mind that they don't have to be exact matches. Brandon has said that most aren't linked as perfectly as Preservation and Ruin, and I believe that was stated above.
  10. Iyatil is from a world we have not yet seen
  11. I pronounced Elend as ee-lend when I read it despite his nickname. But my grandfather is German and said that Elend would be pronounced ay-lind. The audiobook says E-lind. ee-lend sounds more royal to me but e-lind fits the nickname. Also, Brandon wrote Elend as a character before he knew that it was actually a word in German, so technically we can ignore that. It was just German-inspired.
  12. It makes sense to me that Odium's opposite was Devotion. It would make sense for him to shatter Devotion since he/she was likely (to Odium anyway) the most dangerous simply because he/she was his opposite. And then Odium shattered Dominion as well since he was in the area.
  13. Also, isn't Warbreaker supposed to be between era 1 Mistborn and Alloy? Elantris is "hurndreds but not thousands of years" before anything else. There was a WoB I saw on that I while ago.
  14. I think Brandon also said that it doesn't affect the density, although Sazed had said otherwise.
  15. Actually he does decrease his mass. I think it was just confirmed this week. I'll try to find it. EDIT: Found it. Source: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1TDoKTQciZ3CIdo3IKc8N9fILHfJDeSvo2DEPtvEQPzY/edit
  16. Minor SoS spoiler: However, I don't agree that the Terriswoman in Warbreaker was Khriss, because of the reasoning above. However, Khriss could perhaps impersonate one at some point. I just don't see why she would go to Nealthis described as a Scadrian.
  17. I thought he'd previously used it all, and storing more would just give him an infection and be counter-productive.
  18. Reviving this thread because of new information in Shadows of Self!
  19. I'm not a fan of anime either, but I would definitely watch it if it were in the cosmere
  20. The Shin have the Honorblades.
  21. WoB says that his parents are alive, but not in good shape, or something of the sort. It might have been one I asked him, I can't remember.
  22. They gave him his second dose of Chemo this afternoon, and he is responding well thus far. Thank you all for your prayers and well-wishes. As far as me, I'm okay right now. I'm more worried for my parents at the moment. I visited earlier and they'd taken his meds down a bit so he was responsive to questions and commands. He even opened his eyes a few times, though I imagine that tube down his throat is a bit uncomfortable. Lymphoma is the most aggressive cancer, with cells doubling every twenty four hours (as far as I know), but it is also one of the most treatable. We got to it in time though, so if the chemo takes these next couple days, they'll be able to take him out of ICU and into his own room. We actually live 8 hours away from the hospital, so I'll be coming back and forth with my dad because we are both working. My mom will be staying with him the whole time. One positive about all this is the overwhelming support from everyone. People have donated about $2000 already towards expenses (but this is Canada so, free health care) and they started a facebook page. If you wanted to join it I can give you a link, just PM me. Again, thank you so much, everyone.
  23. Thank you, Quiver.
  24. Thank you so much, Kobold. It means a lot to me.
  25. My 13 year old brother was diagnosed with aggressive lymphoma cancer yesterday and the doctors are giving him chemotherapy. Please pray for him and my family to get through this. Thank you, everyone.
