  1. I will tell you what I want what I really really want? The Order of the SpiceGirls
  2. Never played Arena or Daggerfall. Morrowind hands down. I remember hiring the game form the local video store around 10am on a Friday Morning. THe next thing I know it's Saturday and they are calling me up to return it. FIrst time I had ever played a sand box game, muddled my way through the questionaire ended up as a bard, and got killed by a mud crab. Start again, created an imperial mercenary, discovered lockpicking left town, found the leaping scrolls landed somehwere that I had no right to be. Slaughtered. Start again. Really liked mysticism (think that was my only magic skill) mostly because of the tag and return spells, the Dweomer dungeons were freaking awesome. Then there was the expansions. Skyrim is an improvement over Oblivion, but Morrowind is still the best in my eyes.
  3. fraudulent flailing falshions,
  4. I will not eat green eggs and ham, I will not Sam I am. The as yet unamed order (Doctor Suessers).
  5. Yes, but do the Shin know that we know that they know more than they know?
  6. Peter, this statement strikes me as the perfect opportunity for a junket (by junket I of course mean tax deductable research trip) for Sanderson, Ahlstrom et al. to come down south to investigate. Just make sure you include Perth in you itinerary.

  8. I too like point two.
  9. Have you ever been told that you look like a llama?

  10. Blast, I was hoping for Schrodingers spen.
  11. Just finished Hero of Ages and was thinking along the same lines.
  12. That's kind of Moogles point though isn't it (I'm so sorry (I whispered) Moogle if it's not). What you are saying is true based around how you / the general populous define(s) honour. Szeth's definition differs from yours, that doesn't make it any less consistant to his values. I draw your attention to a converstion between an emperor and a king in another of Brandon's novels, the conversation may have been about troop movements or maybe logistics, but the gist remains valid. Yes, he is doing it to avoid oblivion but he does not enjoy it, it's killing him softly (one time one time). An argument could be made that by forcing himself to commit these attrocites while alive, and paying for them for eternity actually requires far more courage than to lay down his blade and his life and succumbed to nothingness.
  13. Shallarin. Meanwhile, over (Thanks jasonpenguin +1'd for your efforts)
  14. No worries Aminar, I can live with that.
  15. KevThinker, +1'd for Starring Karl Urban as Marsh
  16. If to be a Windrunner (assumming Bridge 4 are to be Windrunners) , you need an Honorspren, then most def on the side note. Is the WoB on the issue - i.e. one spren per order? WRT your first point, the Szethinator is a fanatic so short of a Stone Shaman rocking up and letting him off the hook, I can't see him swapping sides per se. Finally, the battle will be epic, no doubt.
  17. Not just you, I find when I read the book a second time I find a whole lot of new stuff.
  18. This is topical for me as I'm very surprised that I'm running at greater than 1 rep per post (please don't stop people who find me at least slightly amusing - serious amounts of self esteem are tied onto this). I try to mix a serious commentary (for the most part - sometime I can't help but take the (deleted expletive) because lets face it, I (we) don't partake in forums of this nature for completely dry text (has anyone tried to read/learn from Atkins Physical Chemistry - am I right?) Posts in this website have made me laugh, made me cry, made me hurl. And I wouldn't have it any other way. And my best is four (4). I have work to do.
