  1. What the heck, I'm curious too. I also cast my request for an illuminating PM about the vegetable.
  2. The whole " 9/10 of the population dead per Desolation wouldn't recover even in 300 years" thing is why that was my minimum number. I never thought about the Vorin Church lying about the number though; has anyone asked Brandon if the 99 Desolations number is correct?
  3. Why not? I always assumed she was one.
  4. Remember, most Desolations wiped out nine-tenths of the population out. There needs to be at least ~300 years between each to recover. They could've been on Roshar for dozens of millenia (as a lower estimate) and we would have no way of knowing, since they keep getting almost completely annihilated. My best guess for the range is about 300-1000 years between Desolations.
  5. He was SUPREMELY sure of his invincibility and grew complacent. To him, insects like Vin and the others were barely worth the trouble to squish. I mean, it's not like they could possibly know his weakness...
  6. You need to post more so I can upvote you more! AWESOME!
  7. Maybe it's louder in the cell? Do padded walls echo?
  8. Wait, what if (sorry to derail a bit) there's actually sixteen heightenings instead of ten, but it just takes progressively stupid amounts of Breaths to reach them? Didn't the Ars Arcanum speculate on that in Warbreaker?
  9. Regarding that question, just remember; he's been spouting that recorded message like a robot for weeks during the travel from Kholinar to the Shattered plains. It probably dwindled slowly down from then to the almost incoherent mumbling.
  10. I really like it as well, but doesn't Jasnah have long hair?
  11. I do think everyone here is underestimating the power of Allomantic pewter. Most of the time, all the Thugs we see are fighting the Mistborn characters, so we don't have as much knowledge as to their power compared to regular people. (also, sorry for not replying more; my keyboard was broken)
  12. WOW! This is amazing!
  13. Moogle, I can't upvote you for some reason, but if i could, I'd do it twice!
  14. The planet probably rotated around the sun slower, too. Just assume it coincidentally takes the exact same time as our year.
  15. I had a dream that Lopen was going to be an Assist Trophy in the new Super Smash Bros. Kaladin was going to be a fighter, but Nintendo's description of him got his gender wrong somehow. I was really excited nonetheless when I woke up...
  16. Well, It doesn't have to be just fabrials. I was thinking maybe other, unknown things can be done with trapped spren. Like the Listeners' forms! Wait, could that be the 3rd system?
  17. Sprenbinding? Trapping Spren is how fabrials work, right?
  18. Toy Story Reference! Upvote!
  19. It wasn't cold-blooded murder. He did not deliberately plan it out beforehand. He did it in the heat of the moment, while absolutely enraged.
  20. I always thought that she just carried the leaves around because of what they meant. Besides, Shallan's Father is a violent, abusive man. She knew what would likely happen.
  21. Honestly, there's so much in WoR that could fit the bill here...
  22. You can't touch the Lightweaving itself, but the body underneath it is still corporeal. For example, If he Lightweaves to change his hair color, the illusion will move with the hair.
  23. I was really confused at first because I thought it said, "To Rew I will stand", and I couldn't figure out what "Rew" was.
  24. Well, you don't see the rest of us lucky ducks who read it early gloating abou- HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! MISERABLE FOOLS! I LAUGH AT YOUR PAIN! -t it.
  25. MAN, Silver, you capture it perfectly! I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who laughs maniacally during WoR! Heck, I had to bust out the evil laughter before I even STARTED reading it because I was too excited about the early copy.
