They would in near constant hypercanes.

There are many many many things on Earth that do the same thing. Such as dirt, clay, mud, fertilizer, compost, ashes, and feces. Crem sounds like it does most of the jobs of most of these things, and a bit more. On crustaceans, I think it provides the building blocks for exoskeletal structures, chitin, and shells.

The first is part of the second, I think. Nalthians simply have the ability to detach that bit using a Command.- 56 replies

It also provides nourishment to plants; in-world scientists have proven empirically that crem-laden stormwater is better than pure water for growing plants. Some trees even infuse their bark with it, giving wood with very high strength.

He may have pulled a complete hipocracy gambit in the name of preserving plot twists, though.

Basically, human sentience takes an imbalance of power to achieve, in this case Preservation's. So Sazed has one sentient race-worth of Ruinous Investiture left over, because Preservation's equivalent power has been spent on Humanity.

Hypothesis: Oathbreaking, shardshattering Heralds
Swimmingly replied to kraefzke's topic in Stormlight Archive
Hmmmm... You may be on to something, but I'm almost certain that it's not the whole story. Something seems off about that to me, but I can't figure out what. -
Something that jumped out at me - Mr. T notices that there are seven factions in the Veden succession war, instead of six. Can that be traced back to Hoid, Shallan or a Radiant, or just data that arose semi-randomly which GeniusT wasn't able to account for?

Someone somewhere suggested that they have an intuitive sense of the guilt or innocence of someone. I like this theory, as it would seem like a divine ability indeed (unnerving to say the least) and would fit in very well with the Just/Confident attribute.

Where are you getting the info that Adonalsium can be reformed that way? I thought of it more like smashing a stained glass window and using the fragments as shivs.

Perhaps the Oathgates were created as part of the Oathpact, created using direct Shardic influence?
-
I think he just spends so much time making rude gestures at people with his "invisible" arm that he keeps the cognitive connection alive. Possibly to the point that his targets feel vaugly offended for no reason that they can see.

What's the difference between a one-armed Herdazian and an Alethi? One is handsome, the other has some hands!

Szeth's Unique Aquisition (SPOILERS!!!!!!)
Swimmingly replied to Swimmingly's topic in Stormlight Archive
Sizgil weeps at the lack of quantisation. However, with the dawn of fabrial science and the reawakening of Surgebinders, Stormlight's gonna get quantized quickly. Trade may even shift from using spheres denomination to using the amount of stored Stormlight. -
Hoid drinking at the fair (Cosmere Implications)
Swimmingly replied to PallonianFire's topic in Stormlight Archive
Feruchemy, allomancy, BioChroma, Lightweaving, and I would not be surprised if he has working knowledge of some Selian magics that only require the forms to use. -
Anybody want to do a comparative analysis of Thaylenese and the Steel alphabet to look for common modes?

Hoid drinking at the fair (Cosmere Implications)
Swimmingly replied to PallonianFire's topic in Stormlight Archive
Either some bronze to detect Shallan's Lightweaving, or maybe Pewter if he was suspicious about being attacked or poisoned. -
You know, buying a large amount of Breath can't be too difficult for someone like Hoid. Though passive Breath is a pretty sweet package.
