Somewhere, an awakened computer works away. Its command is Sell Bull[s-word].

Also, disintegrator rays. Green disintegrator rays. Does nobody remember those?

Children are the best users of magic in the cosmerse

I was thinking it was more like, "We can mold her to fit whatever political purpose we have for her" -
So Invest the Swords! Make them glow, do the 'create sentient life' thing, make them magic swords!

It's like reading mediocre SA fanfiction...

On behalf of the Newcago Court, I meant. I'm loyal to the Queen. While I feel like it, anyway. And I feel like it now.

If I might ask my title be changed to Contractor Swimmingly, Cr. in short. I'm no lord, you see, just an interested party. Save baronies and Lordships for those who hunger for them, I'll hold my power in a whim. That in mind, might I sue for nonaggression with the Observers?

No lynching, if you please, gentlemen. The Queen shall punish or pardon who she pleases, an anything else is but small-minded quibbling. Are we some followers of the Lady Feather, to point fingers and slink about with accusations on our poison lips? No, I say, we will hold court in peace. Our conquering gaze and lashing sword should turn outwards, so we slip the noose of self-devouring intrigue.

No, he'd be fine. The metal all pierces his skin or is inside his body, remember? He's basically gold compounding + Allomantic tin and Allomantic pewter all the time. Of course, a boosted Inquisitor would have a field day.

Buy. We'll see Hoid get REALLY mad. Not just perturbed or annoyed, but deadly-serious-it's-all-I-can-do-not-to-kill-you mad.

I'm just the bodyguard. Don't mind me, this disintegrator ray, or the claymore strapped to my back. -
I am a fickle thing, to swing as will might wax or wain, yet on this day I'll call my liege: Queen Elsa Steelheart.

I was gonna say, Quiver buddy, you don't look like a shifty knave anymore.

His stuff is classic, and quite good. The Foundation series is nearly entirely worldbuilding, describing a slowly unveiling plan to bring society back from the edge of disaster from the long view. There are some personal segments, involving disruptions in said plan, and it's all very clean and hard prose. It's very...Asimov. The writing style is similar to Larry Niven or Victor Vinge.

It's a "cast your net wide, even if that means getting a rusting, useless, frayed expanse of threads attached by some distant and convoluted remove" thing. The not that decides who to spam probably picks up on 'magic' and throws all relevantly-tagged posts at it.

Oh Harmony! What can we do? Quick! Tell us something only the real Windrunner would know!

Maybe even the foundation set by Asimov?

Huh. I think that this sort of thing is going to be left mysterious, to avoid alienating anybody. As an atheist, I would find it quite disappointing if the Cosmere is really just a bunch of Judeo-Christian symbolism wrapped up in euphemism. I can accept there being an afterlife, but I'd expect Brandon to do something original with it or just leave it alone.

Make a god of Deja' vu. Anyone think of anything cool for it?

I'll be tapping tin and taking a deep sniff, regardless. No offense, I'm sure - recent tensions promote caution.

How about a suite of gods of the psyche - or even one, with manifestations tied to an unaware mortal. Thus, when the chosen sleeps, Sleep walks the world. When he wakes, the Woken walks. When he takes drugs, the mighty Trippin Balz strides the planet.
