  1. Well, she couldn't have been Odium because we apparently would have seen the shard moving in a writeup. She could be an OC, but has the same chance for that as the rest of us.
  2. If my above post was a bit confusing, I am implying that Sarc was Odium after Maill and passed it on through inactivity.
  3. I had a thought that has to do with the fallen shard thingy. I think the shards are looking for Odium by investing in people to see when it fails. But if Odium still has a champ left (which is likely, by the 1/5 rule) then he could refrain from posting for three cycles and prevent the shards from confirming people aside from the lynch vote. Based on this, I am going to vote for Sarcomere, who definitely isn't a shard since she voted for Meta earlier on. I really can't think of anything else to add to this post to contribute toward the game, except maybe to do the math about the shards powerlynching everyone, which is a bit of an unpleasant idea for me. Edit: Vote Color
  4. Well, I wasn't really planning on posting this cycle, but we are doing a bit of something that got us (and by us, I mean the people Wilson left behind) in a lot of trouble. GMs can be pretty major trolls. There is something about a hidden role in this game and I don't really trust role distributions at all. Besides, giving the village extra protection doesn't matter too much this game since the lifeless is a one-time thing, kinda like a better version of the voidbringer. @Swalji: Why don't you ask Snoopy about my role. He can explain a bit better. Also, I haven't really done much reasoning this game except for some scenarios and a vote for Winter that really made sense. If it wasn't for Snoopy I bet the village would have killed Winter because that vote really didn't make sense, or at least the reasoning behind it. I actually doubt that you are a shard, since they tend to be working together, and really just need to go through all of us one by one until the last OC or two are found.
  5. Well, yeah, I voted for Winter, and would have done it again, but that is because she had a really poor response to Sarcomere's vote on Meta. I had a good opportunity to become involved in discussion and give a vote with some real logic behind it, and did so. As for the bloodsealer thing, the shards probably know a lot of the roles since they can be trusted 100%. I don't think its something we should worry about too much. If I was a bloodsealer, I might have tried to kill Odium to make the game a bit more fun rather than be in the list of villagers to be powered through by the shards in a hunt for one or two OCs.
  6. When did we establish that? Winter? I guess I don't know who to vote for if I'm going to get shot down 33% of the time for picking a shard or Hoid without realizing it. I am not going to reveal my role since I want to have some independence in this game, but I wasn't the unmade. I'll pop in next day cycle and see if anything has changed. Edit: I wasn't on Nalthis last night, so if I had Death Star powers Sacdrial would be in pieces now.
  7. I'm going to put my vote on Winter, for now, for the same reason as before. You stepped in and voted for Sarcomere, asking for an explanation for a vote that had already been explained, albeit badly. The thing about what Alvron said is that, at least from the docs I've seen, the eliminators tend to spread their votes in a similar manner to the villagers, some one one person, some on another and a few not at all. I don't think Vine and Ant's lynches themselves are very useful to the village, although if one group or the other shows up repeatedly in future situations then we can begin to apply that sort of logic. Do we have a complete list of who was on Nalthis? Because I suspect that one of them was an OC Unmade, which should give us a bit of a start as far as where to look next.
  8. Yeah, I was using the term vanilla to encompass all of those people without roles and those of us with roles that don't really give us much influence over the course of the game as is, such as the Unmade. I mean the world PMs haven't been see helpful except for that people have been getting hooked up with Cultivation in the Scadrial one. Also, while I do have a minor role, either you made a lucky guess are are in league with the shards, because anyone that gets invested by a shard shows up the same as a minor role person.
  9. Is there any reason for me to keep playing this game? Like, have the shards banded together and made us vanilla folk redundant?
  10. Well, personally I have never seen an OC before, let alone one that confessed. However, this is a bit reminiscent of another LG in which Wilson, who is always an eliminator regardless of what the GM says, convinced everyone that my villager self was evil. The thing is, there is no reason for a villager to claim being an OC, but some eliminators like to go out in style. If probabilities were nice, this would mean that Antillar only has like a 25% chance of being bad, but since mind games exist there isn't much we can do (unless there is a protection role that stops a lynch. I'm not completely sure, but I think one of that shards can do that) and that would mostly just waste a lynch unless a whole bunch of people tried to coordinate powers to determine the real witness without a lynch.
  11. Hadrian Penrod is signing up. He is a nobleman with a penchant for playing pranks on those around him.
  12. Well, being mostly settled on killing Martin, perhaps we should get a head start on discussion for what we should do next, particularly the possible outcomes of this lynch. It seems that, assuming one of vineyarddawg or Martin is telling the truth, we have 1) A live witness and a dead eliminator, in which case protection roles should probably get put on the witness 2) A live eliminator and a dead witness, which probably should lead to a Ruin kill 3) Both of them are village witnesses, but one got invested by Odium and decided to use a kill on someone they suspected and didn't expect another witness to exist. This is extremely unlikely and there isn't much we could do about it, although it would stink if we lost 2 witnesses in 1 cycle 4) Both of them are eliminators and one is a witness. This doesn't seem likely, since we could check on the accuracy of the witness each night; essentially 2 free kills for us I guess I'm a bit suspicious of Peng and Winter, so I don't think I need to add onto the train of death headed for my brother but will probably vote for one of the above two next cycle.
  13. So, I guess there are a few possibilities here: 1) Vineyarddawg is actually the witness and Martin is actually an OC. This seems the most likely because it is the simplest possibility 2) Same as above except Martin is a villager that got invested by Odium last night and decided to use the kill, doesn't seem very likely at all 3) Vineyarddawg is a random person that decided to claim witness and picked Martin. I don't see this as too likely, but if someone had to leave the game and wanted to die in a couple cycles this would certainly do it. 4) Vineyarddawg is an OC that is trying to protect the person that made the kill on Mek, and Martin is the person that the blame fell on or even the real witness I have to go now, so I'll try and comment on these a bit later.
  14. The thing is, Cultivation could be in any number of PMs, which gives her a lot of places to be manipulated. The inactivity is always a killer though, literally in this case. Edit: Snoopy, you brought this up, but blue text, at least in the rules, is reserved for conversation outside of the game, rather than for out of character. So whether you distinguish between the colors of RP and OOC chat is really just up to you.
  15. Joe, I think my name is Arandar, not Arnard. Arnard actually did die yesterday but he was more of a storming fool than a slontze.
  16. Well, while I myself don't think lynching Meta is the best option at this point with the info we know, Sarc does bring up a good point of what happened with Clancy and Wilson last game. Winter, I think that was a rather quick vote, especially since Sarc did explain herself in her post. As far as what Sarc said about last game, the person doing all of the planning, Wilson, was clean. If we assume something similar this game, then most likely Aonar and Meta are clean, although different eliminators have different strategies. You probably aren't going to get any more answers than that, so the only reason for you to respond in that way that I can see is if you want Sarc to remove her vote and/or are worried about Meta being lynched. You have been climbing up a bit on my suspicions list. Anywho, I tried to post earlier today in response to what Snoopy said; Peng is of interest since he has been acted on by 3 people with roles, one of which may or may not be an OC. As for my vote, one person in particular, Joe, has been offering a lot of info without really giving much in the way of suggestions. I don't really have much better to say, but I think Winter is the most suspicious person that I have seen. And I like what Meta said about poke votes; that feels like a better way to use voting, so I am going to keep my vote on someone this cycle, so if Winter wants me to move off of her I need to hear a good reason to vote for someone else or somebody else just needs to do something really suspicious.
  17. I would like to point out, on the subject of Satrams being just vanilla, that if all of the vanilla worldhoppers die, or even most of them, then for the shards to be able to use their powers they would have to invest in an OC. Its quite possible that this has happened already, although we haven't really gotten much indication either way. So we can't just bank on all of the shards surviving until the end and having a face-off against Odium. I really don't know who to vote for, the only person I could think about was Peng, so I'll try to look back through day 1 and the Scadrial PM and see what is up in those, then give my vote a little later today.
  18. I've been a little quiet lately because of IRL reasons, but one thing that I did pick up on, although its a minor things, is what if Peng is not the Lifeless operator? If both he and the operator are OCs, then, just to be safe, the operator could have put the lifeless on Peng. Now, I would like to emphasize that I personally don't think this is a very likely possibility, but nobody had brought it up, and I didn't really see much discussion about Peng but more so around Cultivation. This is more of something I would like to make a note of as a slight bump up on my suspicion list. Also, I'm basing this on the rules saying that the operator can change their target at any time, so the default self-protection doesn't necessarily have to have applied during the first cycle. If this assumption is wrong then ignore this whole post.
  19. He's a shard. He decided that he was fine with burning some investiture on Roshar to give his minions less time to be discovered.
  20. Odium doesn't care about the ecosystem, so he messed things up to make life more interesting.
  21. I have been thinking about the parshendi changing forms and how that could be incorporated into roles, and came up with a rough outline for a game here: Is there anything that I should change/do you guys think that this is a workable idea?
