Finally finished The Bonehunters (yes I'm a slow reader). Solid Malazan installment. Now on to Red Seas Under Red Skies, the sequel to The Lies of Locke Lamora.

When you're doing a firepit with some friends and you really want to say, "I am a stick" over and over again. Then you do it and get really weird look (and you have no shame about it).

Mwahahaha! Go Followers of the Mysteries! But seriously. Good game guys. I have some feedback, but I'll save it for later.

I forgot to mention I'm also a big fan of the Kingkiller Chronicle, which may be obvious because I post on our topic about it quite often. Also, Spongebob. Literally the best cartoon ever, and I don't care what you think. And Calvin and Hobbes. Greatest comic strip of all time. The Star Wars novels in general are not great, but there are some that are amazing. Thrawn Trilogy is definitely a great one. My personal favorite were the Republic Commando novels by Karen Traviss. Sadly, the story of those was left unresolved because of discrepancies between it and the Clone Wars show. The Iron Man movies are not my favorite either. The first one was really good, but the sequels kind of dropped off in quality. I love the Thor movies and the Captain America one, though. And the Avengers, of course. Also looking forward to GotG!

I am a fan of Malazan, Avatar: The Last Airbender, new Doctor Who, The Book Thief (a beautiful book, which I consider historical fantasy because of it being narrated by Death), Star Wars (both the movies and the EU, and I'm really mad the original EU is no longer canon), Star Trek (TNG and DS9 are the best), and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, among many other things.

They don't get too unhappy. They are all nice and helpful. They only edit you if you blatantly break a rule.

The date for Firefight is January 6, 2015. Have you seen the cover for it yet? It was released last week.

@Tempus: On the writeups, I think it is just easier to see who voted for whom for later reference if there is a list. Also, I'm not saying that today's writeup was bad, but I think it could be a little more creative without incorporating the votes directly into it like yesterday's. Sorry if there was a reason this one was so much shorter other than not having the votes in it. I don't think the votes being in the writeup is too confusing. The writeup could have the votes in it and we can still have the list of votes at the end for convenience. Personally I think that is the best.

My first thought was that the convergence point of all the lines had something to do with Urithiru. That would make more sense if it were the chart laid over the regular map of Roshar, though. Other than that I got nothing.

Greggin grimaced once again while looking at the victim of the Mysteries. Garlic? Was that really necessary? The stench was nearly unbearable. Gamene had been a nice woman. It was to bad she had been taken out in such a way. Well. It was a hard world. Life had never been easy for Greggin, but this was by far the most terrifying situation he had been in. He could only hope he made it out without a scratch. He began to wonder, though. Why did Warkel have it out for Caan? Greggin saw nothing to compromise the man. More of that brutal world, he figured. In such a time as this, however, no one was outside suspicion. Kai, I didn't put my vote in publically because I was constrained for time and didn't want to do so without explanation. I hope my RP was able to show my reasoning. But just in case, I voted for Warkel because I found his voting for Caan suspicious.

Occasionally someone will get a PAFO, which means "Go ask Peter", or more accurately, "Get no helpful answer".

I am sorry as well, Joe. I had nothing to really go on, and seeing as you do have a history of getting evil roles I did the same thing as Gamma Fiend. Aonar, why do you suspect Kai? Because you think that if Mai were suspicious Kai would have taken him out? I'm not accusing you, just trying to comprehend your logic. Greggin recoiled at the sight of Mai. No one deserved that. Turning away, he thought to himself. Poor Joe. Greggin didn't really have a problem with the man. He had simply been more worried about him than the others at the post. Well, that was how the world went. Everyone tried their best, and only a few made it out well. Greggin only hoped that this would all end quickly. He felt that he needn't hope. Something told him that all would come to a head within a few days. With killings and expulsions, it was only a matter of time.

Sell. I don't think his character has any real depth in the past and there's no real reason to tell his story. I would much prefer to hear about someone else, maybe Rysn or Mr. T. Adolin's and Shallan's relationship will not last through the end of Book 3.
