All you people running around with your fancy rep-to-post rations greater than 1... (Just kidding, no hard feelings. Some people are rep sucking machines, some, unfortunately, are not.)

He actually wrote three books like that. Can't understand why.

Grellin Pilgras finished a brisk walk around the warcamps in the morning. Yes, his dahn was high enough that he didn't have to make a round every morning, but he liked to get around and see the people. Plus, the brisk air of the morning was beautiful. Almost as beautiful as that of the air around the grounds of his manor back in southern Alethkar. Storms, but he missed that old place. But he was here now, fighting the Parshendi, and here he would stay. For a long time, it seemed. :( Why don't you like us from Game 4, Awesomeness? Also, in terms of RP, will our characters know about the Ghostbloods being present?

The amount that Swimmingly can post in a day astounds me. i have seen him get as high as 80+ posts in a single day. (Yes, I look at the Today's Top 20 Posters page quite a lot.)

I believe it was actually several months ago. But no matter. He is Brandon's assistant. To people here, that puts him just below God.

Even Brandon himself ended up using a name from the Wheel of Time, with Sarene.

Brandon has since WoR basically changed his mind on every character he ever said would be a flashback character for the Second Arc except for Jasnah. I have a feeling that the second Herald he said would be one will almost certainly not be one. If he doesn't change his mind yet again before the end of the series, I am of the belief that the unknown flashback character will be either Taravangian o Rysn. I lean toward Rysn more because if this character is a Dustbringer, I feel she fits more as one than Taravangian, given that the Divine Attributes of Chana are Brave and Obedient. These are certainly two characteristics we have seen Rysn exhibit fairly strongly, especially Bravery. Taravangian just doesn't fit as well under those.

Ah, yes, Awesomeness. I remember now.

A theory that's been around for a while, and one that I've long been fond of is the Shardic Lens Theory. The main idea is that because of the way Adonalsium broke, every Shard filters a certain part of the original power. The power the Shard filters corresponds to its intent. Since Adonalsium seems to be sort of a force of everything, of creation, it could in theory have broken in a different way, causing different ideas to be filtered or refracted. This kind of goes along with what Moogle was saying, that Adonalsium could have Splintered into different Shards than the ones it did.

Is there a Shardbearing Hannibal as well? Because that would have been pretty terrifying for the Romans... I agree with Quiver that if you haven't read the other cosmere books Warbreaker is a good starting point. Hope to see you around!

Welcome, Seonid! Yeah, it looks like you made one very short post at one point. Glad to see you delurking, and I hope to see you around in the discussion! Is your username a Wheel of Tike reference? I seem to recall it being the name of an Aes Sedai, though I don't remember the character at all...

Now I said "ny-neeve". I forgot how painful that name was to look at. Nynaeve. It just looks wrong.

I say it Kwohthe, with the "th" soft as in "the". Don't know if that's right or not, but I don't care. The spelling is certainly very strange on Rothfuss's part. But it must be important, for names are oh-so-important in the Four Corners!

You Know You're a Sanderfan When...
GreyPilgrim replied to Shardbearer's topic in General Brandon Discussion
I actually believe we have a WoB that there is a bit more to aluminum compounders than one would think. Maybe it was savants, though.Edit: I just searched the database and found nothing. Only thing he said was that aluminum may be able to help cleanse other Investitures as well. So please ignore this and proceed. -
I post in this thread whenever its active or whenever there's a significant update from Rothfuss or something funny involving him.

The Ultimate List of Questions for Brandon
GreyPilgrim replied to Chaos's topic in Cosmere Discussion
To add to Aether your Spiritual DNA essentially defines your Spiritual aspect in the way that your Physical DNA defines your physical characteristics. Spiritual aspects include investiture access and also (I believe) has a sort of Shardworld signature. -
So I was not entirely wrong! Admittedly that is pretty rare...
