hmmm not sure where to go from there, so gonna change the topic What class are you in right now?
-
*hugs* you're amazing, okay? I just joined and even I can see that.
-
Yeah I don't have school today. But I get it. I kinda hate listening to teachers ramble.
-
looking for feedback on my writing, thank you.

Uh... I realize this is really late, but I read your story and had to comment. First of all, congrats on the win! You definitely deserved it. Your story was amazing. (Also your dog is super cute; not really related, but like... it had to be said) -

Are you? Hmph

Section 3/4: Foundation Feedback
Stardust replied to Through the Living Hopper's topic in Creator's Corner
I thought it was really good! I'm already hooked on the story. Your writing is really good, and I can't wait to see what happens next. The only thing I have a question about (besides general questions about what is going to happen in the story) is this line: "Finally, they could stand it no longer. They exited the building — which was still a small hut, but" It just cuts off there. You might want to change that. Elaborate on it or take off the 'but' at the end. -
1. I haven't been able to read dragonsteel and Aether of Night, just because I haven't been able to find them anywhere. I have read WoK Prime though. 2. YES. I am always open to new book recommendations. Seriously, I NEED MORE BOOKS. 3a. Dragons you say? You are talking to the girl who has read WoF obsessively several times then proceeded to write several cringey FanFics based on it and tried to invent several new types of dragons. So yes, I would say that I like dragons. 3b. Yes I like Wayne, he is hilarious. I love his trades. 3c. I think I'd be awesome to be a A Gold F Gold compounder. But for non compounding it'd be A Steel and F Gold, because I want to fly, and if I mess up I can heal myself. 3d. going based on Ideals, it would probably be Windrunner or Edgedancer. Beyond getting those two as my top two several times on the quiz, I really like what they stand for. 3e. Windrunner for sure. If not that then Skybreaker. I want to fly.

Dang, only on the Shard for three days and already mentioned in Sharder One-Liners. That's gotta be some kind of record. I'm not sure whether to be impressed or worried for my sanity... maybe a little bit of both. Though I do have another quote: "The foot is severed, yes?" - @Through The Living Coder
-
This could also be very strange if taken out of context. (And of course it is severed) Yes, of course. I'm not a monster. Of course. I doth knoweth most active people on the Shard. *debates internally about elaborating further, then decides against it for fear of seeming like a creepy stalker* I wasn't about to join some random website without doing some research and making sure it wasn't something bad. Thankfully, I found out that you are all wonderful people and it was acceptable to join. I came for the books and stayed for the people. (but like also the books)

That's how long I'm gonna be here too, so like... forever

So what you're saying is that I have until the end of March before this thing dies. I better start brainstorming a new name lol

That is amazing. I can't wait to read all the rest of your writing.
-
Yeah that's fair. I still think it's awesome though. (Maybe we just need some new books to increase conversation. I don't know for sure though, 'cause I've only been here for like a day with an actual account)

Yeah I'm new to the Shard. I thought joining a cult was a good way to get to know people, but if it's dying... And yes I joined literally yesterday

Hmmm did I join this cult just to watch it die? Maybe I better start brainstorming some different names...

Uh, yes I want the lore. It looks like I have a lot of reading to be doing... I let you know how it goes when I finish it all. But from what I started reading (Which was only like a paragraph) it looks really good. No, no apologies here. I like long, drawn out books and stories. Why else would I like Stormlight Archives?

Yeah my FanFic is totally cringe and I love it anyway. YES I DO WANT TO READ YOUR WRITING And there's a reason I was waiting to share any writing, but when you asked I said "what the heck, why not".

Yeah gotta love that depression. Yeah that's fair. It is decently long. (But also if that one is long you really don't want to see my FanFic of what would happen after WaT).

Uh sure, why not? This is Do You Know What It's Like, my really depressing attempt at poetry, all based on real events (though a little exaggerated, as emotions tend to do that). And this is Nightmares. It's pretty decent, but not quite how I want it to be. I guess I'll see if you guys like it or not and go from there.

Yes, I love writing. Honestly the stuff I've written recently is either really bad/cringe, really creepy and dark, or really depressing. It from Shallan's quote in Way of Kings: "Ah, the outdoors," Shallan said. "I visited that mythical place once. It was so very long ago, I've nearly forgotten it. Tell me, does the sun still shine, or is that just my dreamy recollection?"" (Though to be fair it was pretty obscure and I changed some words around)

*Checks Shard for a minute* *works on short story collection* *checks shard* *reads paragraph in book* *checks shard* *gets notification* *responds* *repeat* Ah, sleep... I did that mythical thing once. It was so very long ago, I've nearly forgotten it. Tell me, do people still do that, or is it just my dreamy recollection? (Bonus points if you get the reference!)

Hmmm yes. Multitasking is smart. Except to do it you would have to be smart, and I'm not, so looks like it's just living on the Shard 24/7 for me. (Because why would I need sleep when I can read books and talk about said books all the time)

REAL. Why wouldn't I spend all of my time on the Shard instead of doing homework. (Not that I have any of that, totally.)

ohhhhh that makes way more sense Yes, I did see many of those. I read SO MANY threads, I don't even know how I had time to do anything really. But that's how it is when you have no social life.
