He snapped his fingers, and a paper bag appeared in his hands. “I have recently forced my author into writing an improbable amount of prismite into existence.” He reached in, but his efforts were interrupted by a net of blue sparks. “Probability and narrative aren’t happy, so I’m looking to spread it out amidst allies. All I would need from you is a binding promise to become one of those allies, though not as a subordinate, of course. In return, I would be happy to fund your project, as it will probably prove to be much more effective than mine.”

    The fabric of reality here is bolstered by Night’s presence, and Charnyx finds it surprisingly difficult to violate the rules of physics, as they would rather listen to the pretty goddess with the sparkly hair. Gravity multiplies exponentially in a small area around Charnyx- ten times, a thousand times, a million times. Night drifts backwards slightly, out of his reach just in case and unimpressed, eyes closed like she’s napping. “If you say so,” she murmurs.

    A starhawk landed on Isabel’s shoulder and screeched softly, encouragingly. This world was defiled by violence and chaos, but she would survive, if Night could do anything about it. The starhawk flew off, scratching at a pile of rubble. A few seconds later, it dragged something out of the ruins- a partly shredded backpack. With unnatural strength, it carried the backpack back to Isabel. Inside was some schoolchild’s lunch- inexplicably a few days old, even though I’m not sure of the timeframe of your apocalypse, but still clean and edible. @Through The Living Ghost

    Cris’ voice literally cracks through the next words, slightly. An awareness of the layers of the world beyond grants them a glimpse through the fourth wall.     I keep finding myself picking clothes balanced between “how many colors can i wear to make myself happy” and “how can i not make my family thing i am insane” so yeah there’s a line somewhere in there, glad you’re happy with how you dress
