Yeah... Do you think I should try turning this into a short story? Hopefully it's unique lol but idk maybe it doesn't matter. But it'd be curious, maybe multiple viewpoints or maybe not. And everyone around you slowly dies... You stay up late talking to someone online and then... they stop responding. Your younger siblings don't understand and go to sleep as you watch, crying at their innocence. Your parents can't hold on any longer- they haven't slept much in weeks to begin with. You take a walk around your town and the lights are out, it's quiet. You open your phone to text your friend but remember they're gone. It's 2am and you stumble, tripping on the sidewalk and fall on the pavement, skinning your arms as you try to catch yourself. You lay there, in pain and bleeding, you might as well give up. Everyone you know is gone. You untense your muscles and... let go.

I think that's a good one I'd probably... stay up late crying and depressed. maybe say some goodbyes or something, drink some coffee. Or just go to sleep since everything is pointless. I'd probably go to sleep still hoping deep down I'll wake up. I won't.

(I posted this somewhere else just now but) Imagine if we all died tomorrow, or whenever we went to sleep. Imagine if you died when you went to sleep. You could stay up, or try, but you'd eventually die, and be miserable the whole time. Would you rather die peacefully, even unknowing, or stay up a bit longer awaiting the inevitable?
