  1. I love this one
  2. Trance looked at his list of materials, then at the dwindling supply of money in the pouch he’d been given. The cauldron and wand had cost more than a couple galleons each. He felt in his pocket for the galleon the girl had given him. If he ran out… he might have to spend it… Looking over the signs flooding the street, Trance scanned for the appropriate place. “Robes… Books…” Considering he did need robes, Trance decided to start there. Hopefully it would turn out to be less expensive than everything else seemed to be
  3. Trance, after stumbling out of the storefront, started towards a wand shop. All the while berating himself. My first time trying to buy something and not only do I forget the exchange rate, but also almost get scammed! At least those other girls were there… they, seemed nice. But it was thanks to them he didn’t get ripped off. Trance wandered into Ollivander’s wand shop, he should probably get one. He went up to the shop-keeper, probably Ollivander. “hey, uh, can I get a wand?” The shopkeeper looked up at him, “Ah, welcome, I’m Ollivander, at your service. A wand you say? Well you’ve come to the right place” Ollivander walked over to his many shelves, calling back at Trance, “Now, do you know how this works?” At Trances shaking head he continued, “that’s alright, I’ll hand you a wand, and just give it a good flick, I’ll do the rest” Trance nodded, “Alright, I… I can do that” Ollivander got out a small wand, a slightly reddish one. Ollivander smiled “Rowan and unicorn tail, eight inches, rather rigid, try it out” Trance took the wand, trying to wave it around dramatically, “Wha.. what am I looking for?” Ollivander sighed, “You’ll know it when you feel it” he took the wand back, “how about… thirteen inches, ash and… a Veela hair. I forgot I had that.” Trance shrugged. Unicorns? Feela? He didn’t know what they were. He took the wand, staring at it. It was long and dark. He swished it up and down, it seemed flexible enough. Trance waved it around some more, nothing seeming to happen. Ollivander reached out for the wand, “that’s to be expected, rather temperamental, these one are, don’t worry though, I have the perfect fit, ebony and dragon heartstring, ten inches.” He reached for the wand. Just before Ollivander touched the ash wand, a burst of sparks happened, blue and green scattering around the shop. Trance cringed back, “is… that supposed to happen?” ”Usually no, but exceptions happen. Anyways, that’ll be eight galleons” Trance nodded, “Alright” he handed over the money, taking his new wand with him. (figured I’d have fun with the wand”
  4. I’ll have to convince her to have her name be that. However, considering that we both live in the same house that might be a problem. I feel confident about not telling her anything, idk about how she feels about it. I have told her that we’d have to be careful about it and such, which she understood, but if I do get her to join, I wanted to make sure you knew
  5. Wow, already starting, you’ll get us outed as Elims before the game starts : ) - - - - - - - Trance barely caught the coin, “thank you… I’ll… I’ll do that” He tried to exit quickly, but the weight of the cauldron slowed him down. Everyone seemed to know more than him, hopefully the next places would be nicer. “seventeen to a galleon” he repeated to himself as he made it out of the storefront, “seventeen” - - - - - - - - (Realizing I haven’t described Trance, he’s actually tall for his age(which still isn’t that tall) he’s got green eyes, but with dirty-blond hair that’s slightly wavy. He’s very… self-conscious, and unsure of how everything works)
  6. Just going to pop in to say that after reading through this I’m falling in the side of Frustration, but I would say that Jasnah is getting better. WaT spoilers? Anyways, this is a very opinionated discussion on what counts as murder vs killing, where the line between attempted murder and intent to murder is, and a bit of other stuff as well. Ultimately, everyone is arguing from a different base of assumptions and values that aren’t going to change via this discussion. Because it’s one of morality, what one person values over another isn’t something that’s easily changed. As such, I personally feel that this discussion is basically a way to explain ideas, and not really an argument, because neither side is going to “win” Thats my thoughts, I’m sure I haven’t contributed much to this, I’m not sure I could anyways.
  7. It’s a cult around Through the Living Glass. I would’ve joined sooner, but I didn’t want to change my name in the the middle of a game
  8. (Glad your here, I’ll try not to NK you too early) Trance nodded, “uh, thank you. I’m… new to this” He put the coins on the counter, trying to mimic her. He grabbed the cauldron the storekeeper shoved at him, trying not to drop it. “I suppose I should get going…” “I.. have to get the rest of my stuff…”
  9. What kind? Cookies? Other sugary things? Or like the blood of your enemies type of thing
  10. Trance stumbled through the wall, the bricks snapping together behind him. He turned towards the wall in surprise, jumping away. Seeing as the wall was no longer moving, Trance shivered, “I’m never getting used to that” He looked at the small bag of coins in his hands. Small. Light. He sure hoped it was enough, he still didn’t have a handle on the prices. ”I think I need a wand, right? I’ll start with that” Trance wandered along the street, gaping at the magic on display. Each shop had something moving in front of it. A broom was making its way through the alley, sweeping all by itself. Entering a storefront, he went over to the counter, peaking his head over the wooden board, “Uhm.. I… I was wondering… if you had… some potion ingredients? My… uh, my list says I need a cauldron” The man on the other side looked up from stocking the shelves, “Ah, I see, new to the wizarding world, are you? ”y-yeah” ”Don’t worry mate, I’ve got you covered. Now, normally your old’ standerd cauldron costs about three galleons, but, since it’s your first time, I’ll drop it to two galleons and twenty-one sickles” ”The gold ones are galleons, and silver sickles, right?” (If you want to intervene, go ahead, or you can let Trance be scammed out of some sickles. For context, Trance’s mother was a squib, and his mother a muggle, so he’s new to all this. His mother isn’t here because she’s deathly afraid of meeting a wizard who knows she’s a squib. Anyways, pop in if you’d like) (Edit: his last name is Vigon) (edit2: the amount of spelling mistakes I made is astronomical)
  11. So, amazing puns, absolutely love them. I’m trying to convince my sister to join. And going over the Rp, we can’t find book 3(we’re searching for it still) I’d like to join as Trance btw

      Through the Living Hopper

I was sitting in Spanish class and my teacher said "I guess Chuck Norris couldn't beat the grim reaper" and we all just looked around confused until he said "Chuck Norris died."

So, a great way to break the news.

  15. SE ended early, it was fun though. Im gonna need a quick reminder of what our goals are. I think it was worshipping glass and waging war on the stick cult?
  16. Well, what else was I supposed to do with my afternoon? School?
  17. It was my second game, he rolled dice and got 2/3 Elims first try. So yeah, I’ve met him, not since then though Also, Elims, I spent 3 hours reading the Elim doc. That was long
  18. Nah, in order to claim that status you have to be at least near the level of Alvron
  19. Too late lol, I play the game on my phone, including Elim docs
  20. It wasn’t too hard, people dying made it easier since I could reset them to 20, but you’ll notice I never once said a specific rupee count for someone, just that they could or could not get a mask. And who would win a tie, I never had exact numbers lol 20% of all posts were me(roughly) but this was a fun game, I liked it Gotcha, so I should be worried about you outing us next game
  21. Yall actually rupee counted? I was keeping track in my head
  22. Yeah. I wouldn’t have voted you without Keaton…. They would’ve had to find another person to vote you
  23. Good job Doc/Coco/Burnt/Stick yall did good, Coco especially, I was right for pressing D1C, but after that, yall did a good job convincing me otherwise
