  1. I know basically nothing about Hacob other than they were a Narrator and at one point made a deal with the General.
  2. "Yeah, pretty much." The Archivist returned, and Erdikan reviewed what they had found. "Plot Significance was an altered form of Plot Development, held by Hacob, but bonded to Rirrom. It supposedly was able to end entire plot arcs with just a scratch, but due to its unstable nature this was considered risky to do. It was created for the purposes of defeating Desolation." He shuffled through the pages a bit. "We've got even less on them; it says Desolation was some old-time antagonist who was considered pretty powerful and at one point was bonded to Foreshadowing." He looked up at Ribbon. "Did you understand all that?"
  3. He turned to Ribbon, a little surprised. "I am Erdikan. Do you know what we are doing here, Ribbon?"
  4. You never said whether or not you are, and since I first mentioned the lacing of your shoes in bold text, that is stuck being canon until you change it otherwise. I cut off your hand, still holding the sandwich, and take it with me.
  5. Seeing as how no one was immediately threatening him, Bartholomew picked through a patch of sand on the ground in front of him and infused it with Oobleck. This is entirely unacceptable. I approach you and tell you that your shoelaces are untied, and while you are looking down, I swipe the sandwich, cackling. They were, in fact, untied.
  6. Taeidin seems entirely unfazed by this. He turns to Erryin slowly. "Please do not attack him. He is rather important to what we're trying to accomplish." "I'll go with you," he hastily agrees, rubbing at his wrist.
  7. Taeidin considered this for a moment. "No, that would not have done it. It would have been a Narration, just likely one that was indirectly formed by an Author."
  8. He nodded and took Ribbon by the arm. Stepping into the shadows, the two slowly faded from the tower. Erdikan stepped out onto the Lower Terrace, overlooking the bustling Grounds. He looked up at the pale sunlight glinting off of the high, curving walls of the city and smiled. It was nice to be back. Checking to make sure that Ribbon was following, he made his way across the long pathway and turned one of the five corners. People made way for him; they knew not to get in his way. Finally he chose a door along the wall on the right and entered the innards of the city, coming out into what appeared to be a large library. He turned to the awaiting Archivist, who bowed. "And what should suit my good Lord Erdikan today?" Erdikan grimaced slightly. He hated it when the offworlders called him that. "I'm looking for information regarding Plot Significance, the Plotblade." The Archivist nodded. "I shall see what information can be gathered." Erdikan drummed his fingers on a desk as he awaited their return. "Do you know where Cep is?" Taeidin asked. "I can tell he is in the Thread, but not his location. This is likely due to a direct Narration. The experience is... disconcerting." Umm I do believe it was Second, although I don't think he ever gave Renn his name.
  9. I think I joined like a few weeks before you, and then chips joined maybe a month and a half after me? Edit: I actually joined two months before you and so maybe three or four before chips
  10. I’m what you want here I’m what you need here Just you and me, my love in paradise
  11. "There is, although I think you would have a difficult time of getting us there. If you lower... whatever it is that you have done, I could do it."
  12. He hesitated for a second. This would be playing with fire, but he didn't think Rirrom was in league with anyone else. They had planned something similar in the past. "No." Wait are they actually gonna be time travelling to the past 'cause I was under the impression that had been banned at some point.
  13. Asharak was refusing to help/merge before because he liked freedom and individuality or something like that. "I assume that you have a specific person in mind, so details would be useful. Also, it would be nice to know the name of who I am working for." He shrugged. "I'm not exactly going to turn down any help you offer."
  14. "What's in it for you?" Erdikan watched Rirrom work with interest. Taeidin straightened and brushed himself off. "Am I to assume that you have changed your mind?"
  15. Renn never met Taeidin - it was an entirely different person. Erdikan blurred momentarily, then refocused, looking rather annoyed. "Plot Significance," he said musingly. "I don't suppose you know where it ended up?" Slight detour, he sent through the link. The mark was placed. I should return shortly, but if not, I expect that you will do as you always have seen fit. Do not respond. He already did:
  16. Bartholomew dodges to the side, surprisingly agile, and cracks his whip at Jerome.
  17. Erdikan frowned. He hated it when he had an Author; things like this always ended up happening. “So let’s say I decide to go along with your plan. Which Plotblade would I be looking for?” As he spoke, he discreetly flashed hand signals behind his back.
  18. Erdikan considered in silence for a few moments. There were multiple that likely fit such a description, though he could only guess which Rirrom was thinking of. “What makes you think I would do this for you?”
