    Thousands of thoughts buzz around in Taeidin's mind as he considers the implications of what has just been revealed. "Wait, then - what am I doing? Why am I - there's no direction, you know. What's the motivation? It would have to be at least 4+2... Oh! That explains a lot of things. Altered spacetime, maybe? But I could tell. But! I mean... Narration already destroys the equilibrium. Unless... a fifth type? Upstream, downstream... I think I could do it," he says to himself. Turning back to Rebus, he continues. "So, they're like gods, but only of certain people? How do they control us? What are they made out of?"

    I had forgotten about that one. Although I feel a whirlpool is probably too mundane for Brandon to have made it as the 4th spren.

    The powers that Nale demonstrated I'm pretty sure are common to all Heralds. I think that Taln would definitely beat Nale in a fight, but Nale wouldn't be a pushover.

    I know that Cusicesh is not the 4th spren, but it almost feels like it when talking about it being water-based. Also, the rhythms did exist on Roshar before Honor and Cultivation arrived.

    "Wait - what? No, that can't be right. There's no way it would work - hmmm." Taeidin pulls out some stones and begins juggling them. One by one, he allows them to fall to the ground. Shaking his head in disbelief, he turns looks up at Rebus. "You're not lying, are you?"

    I think my favorite scene had to be after Dalinar ascended to Honor. While the plot there isn't great, I think that Nohadon was pulled off perfectly and it is such a good injection of him into the story there. It was great to see how Dalinar was a god, but still pretty much reliant on Nohadon's advice and the down-to-earth feel of that section. The more I read that part, the better it gets.

    The drink was not poisoned; Taeidin had taken extra care not to put a hallucinogenic mushroom in it this time. "My mental health is perfectly splendid," he says. Frowning at his empty glass, Taeidin proceeds to put it on his head as a hat.

    "Fun, fun," Taeidin says, only understanding half of what Rebus said. He prepares the drink on a nearby table and offers it to Rebus. "You say it's because we are relevant? Who determines that? Wait, no - wait - hmmm. Why are you relevant?"

    By stabbing them. A lot. I would also like to see Vasher added to the list. Maybe right above Szeth? I would love to see a fight between those two, I think it would be really close.

    What you're saying could happen. I don't think that it would be something as obvious as Day, likely much more obscure. Now you have me thinking that there is a link between the primeval spren and the moons - maybe the 4th spren went away when the 4th moon was destroyed? I do not think that there would be a 4th sibling to the modern spren, that would likely be known about at this point. Going against this is that the Wind mentions the Stone and Night, but not any others which I feel that it would have there.

    Taeidin nods. "So, what do you think? Why were we teleported to this party?"

    Taeidin drums his fingers on the table. "So the voices are like a separate entity? How many are there?"

    I somehow forgot about that! He did seem like he was holding back, even there. Well, Harmony essentially defeated Autonomy's scouting party. There was definitely the sense that Autonomy had more and greater dangers that they were going to throw at Scadrial.

    "Might be that too," Taeidin says, nodding his head. "Say - do the voices know why the orbs appear?"

    Well, if you take that light is a stream of photons, and that something that is dark is either neither a photon nor interacts with them, or is unperceivable via photons, then Dark Light could be a photon with a wavelength that is bigger than the Thread, meaning that it could not interact with the Thread. However, this in and of itself is a paradox because the Thread grows to incorporate things in it, if I am not mistaken. In addition, if you went the other way (Brightened Darkness?) this would no longer work. I realize that this doesn't help with the Smokite problem, but I wanted to share my input.

    "Yes, me seeing orbs that nobody else saw after eating a poisonous mushroom that I was thankfully immune to, and then proceeding to enter your mind, might have been recognised as somewhat of a danger to you. I wonder why?" Taeidin says obliviously.

    "Me, being in someone's mind?" Taeidin pauses and looks at the mushroom at the bottom of his glass. He presses his face to the opening of the glass and sticks his tongue out, trying to get to the mushroom. After a bit of struggling with it, he gives up. The glass makes a popping noise as Taeidin pulls it off his face, which it had gotten suctioned to. "I can't imagine how that could be dangerous for them."

    "I see. It would appear that we are more similar than it initially appears." After considering, Taeidin's face lights up. "They also came when I was in your mind. Does that mean that I was some sort of danger to you while in there? Wait... you said that the voices always kick people out after about 10 minutes. How did you remember that?"

    I think that Wit should go much higher up. We've never seen him fight (excluding the short skirmish at the end of Tress), but I think that while he may not be able to inflict harm on others, he would be highly effective at trapping them or mitigating their threat. I would also take into consideration his skill with manipulating others into doing the fighting for him. I would put him below Herald Kaladin, given his skillset.
