You should. -
I disagree. I don't think a Shard is going around saying, "Hey, let me make a bunch of stars in a squiggly line here! That sounds fun!" Except maybe Whimsy, on second thought.

Cosmere Free For All
Through The Living Ash replied to Qianweilian's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Sleepless (5) Breath x 1100 (22) TLR Strength Mistborn (700) Spinner (30) Magnified One (50) Unoathed Sharplate (110) First Ideal Lightweaver (50) Coin pouch (3) Basic metal set (0) Basic metalmind set (0) A Sleepless who usually separates into many smaller swarms and sometimes hundreds of individual hordelings, able to use steelpushing and ironpulling from each one in addition to having access to Lightweaving and Soulcasting to barrage, confuse, and overwhelm enemies easily from all sides. This is amplified by their ability to Push and Pull on the emotions of enemies as they are fighting. As a Magnified One, the hordelings may rapidly change specialty. The Unoathed Shardplate is able to be controlled by a small number of hordelings, and so is usually the obvious target of attacks, allowing the other swarms to surround and obliterate enemies. The swarms all have access to the ability to compound Fortune, making them incredibly lucky and hard to hit. They can also Awaken, giving extra versatility to their already numerous options in combat and granting them perfect life sense. Time bubbles are also used, in which one swarm will slow down time around themselves and the enemy drastically, allowing all of the other hordelings to move extremely fast compared to the trapped enemy. -
Based on the star chart, it's likely Taldain or Nalthis, kinda tricky to tell from a 2d map. Threnody looks to be the farthest away from Roshar.

There's not really a late it's kinda chaotic. Nice to have you! That's fine, but generally you want to make your own character to join in with, as each person usually controls one or more characters.- 111828 replies

Nohadon at the end? Who was he?
Through The Living Ash replied to Maeldun's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I have read it. Here is a relevant quote: WaT I-2 It seems to me that as Retribution still had to follow the original agreement reached between the three Shards (or at least the Honor part wanted to follow it), it limits direct action, especially against people. Cultivation says they must be fully given to Odium, so when Retribution notices that Dalinar is claimed by another, it is my understanding that even though Dalinar may have been mostly of Honor, he was in some part of another Shard too, likely Cultivation due to her tampering of his memories and direct interaction within his final few days. -

Shardic intents and the original vessels
Through The Living Ash replied to Erremin's topic in Cosmere Discussion
What I said was likely confusing. I did not mean to say that Ruin was an evil Intent, only that when looking at the 16 Intents on the surface level, Ruin likely would have appeared the evilest to the 16 original Shardholders. Based on what we see Tanavast do, I think it is definitely fair to say he is not well suited towards Honor, and many others could have fit the Intent better (I'm thinking of Edgli right now). -

Through The Living Ash replied to Erremin's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I'm not sure if there's concrete evidence for this anywhere, but I got the impression that, knowing that Ruin was the most inherently "evil" Intent, Ati was chosen for it in order to attempt to hold it back as much as possible. Not sure if this was a consensus reached by the 16 or if Ati decided this himself. -

I generally agree with this sentiment, although I think that Kora does fit with Cultivation pretty well. This also fits given what we know of Valor, who is hiding, seemingly against the Intent of the Shard.
