    I would argue that it does make a difference, as things within stopped time cannot change whereas things within slowed time can. Bartholomew is angry that you crashed the jet and eat your sandwhich. Luckily, you didn't steal the sandwich.

    The door creaks, and two people enter the room with the pool. From within the pantry, their conversation can be heard. First voice: "-in order to happen. We need it by the end of this month." Second voice: "You know the only way to find it, and they're being elusive." First voice (growing angry): "I don't care! We need it soon if the Master's plans are to work! Send them out again; we will find them." Second voice (exasperated): "Okay, okay! I'll see to it." First voice: "Good." A sloshing can be heard, as if something has been dipped into the pool. Second voice: "What will you do with that?" First voice (smugly): "You'll see." The door opens again, and the two people pass from the room.
