Managers with unreasonable expectations of competence/understaffing. There were maybe three openers (8-3:30). None of the mid-shift (10-5:30) guys showed up. And there were only the two of us closing (2-9:30ish). That's an only an hour and a half where we had more than two or three people working in our area. How the hell do you expect the two new guys and only the two new guys to be able to keep the entire area clean and organized, especially when they're constantly bombarded by customers, pickups, and other managerial assignments? Seriously. (And of course the moment she walks in is the one moment when we're not actively doing the job thing, so we got yelled at for slacking too.) Some guys from the dock did lend some help with cleanup after we were closed, though. That was much appreciated.

I dearly wish I had been able to come. But, as storming always, I closed tonight. rrrrgh i need a new job

Started my Stormlight reread! Normally I'd try to do this closer to November, but 1) I have work, which chops my potential reading time in half, and 2) I don't want to get burned out before Oathbringer, and stretching out the reread may help with that. But I'm loving The Way of Kings. It's been so long since I actually sat down and read the whole thing.

Er, okay, so. For some reason Amazon decided to only have the first 11 episodes of MLP:FiM season 7 available for streaming, when in reality there are 13. So that's two episodes that I had no idea existed. I discovered their existence and watched them both on YouTube last night. Suffice it to say that The Perfect Pear is officially the cutest thing I've ever seen, and Discordant Harmony was completely, insanely hilarious.

I don't think I can recommend Spiderman: Homecoming enough. Honestly. Got to go see it after work yesterday, and it was one of the most enjoyable theater things I'd seen in quite a while.

Ah, okay. Yeah, the writing is fairly amateurish, but I adore those books.
