Did it not allow them, or was Lift just choosing not to slick her palms? I was under the impression she had her palms and feet unslicked so she could control where the heck she was going. Also, doesn't Darkness mention dancing across wires at lightning speed or something? It would be pretty hard to do that on your knees. It's been a while since I've read the interlude, but I thought that's what it was.

And I thought my school sucked. o_O Have all the upvotes for your troubles. I had a PE teacher once who was an ex-Marine and who thought it would be a great idea to do drills at 8:00 in the morning after a rain. Soaking wet half the day. So yeah, I know how that feels. -

It took me a while to read Way of Kings, and when I finally did, I got bored and just read Shallan's chapters. Now it's one of my favorite books of all time.

I've been toying around with a magic system based off the Myers-Briggs personality types for a while. Like extroverts get magical energy from the outside world while introverts find it within. Magic is cool. I haven't written anything with it, though.

You Know You're a Sanderfan When...

When you get irrationally annoyed at your computer for not recognizing "Sanderson" as a word. -
Simple, this. Anything like a ship, character, theory, or something that you didn't subscribe to, but do now? This can extend to books as well. It could even extend to anything at all, in which case this topic might need to be moved. For example, I enjoyed the Reckoners books at first, but didn't really think them anything special. After reading and playing the Reckoner RPG, they're among my favorite Sanderson works.

If I do die a timely death, i.e. nobody else killed me, directly or indirectly, then all my characters go to Kobold and Twi to be distributed between players as they see fit. In other news, just added my Epics to the "Epics of Oregon" thread. Hopefully I'll have a post up soon. Speaking of, anyone wanna interact with my characters? They're about to hit the field in a few posts. Plus I need help driving a plot.
