[The Constellation, 'Weaver of Stories' forgives you] dunno
-
Yeah that is what mine is an ORV RP would be... complicated, to say the least, to set up. ORV offers one path, but we don't have a Ways of Survival to account for all the other possible paths people could take.

HEY [BRACKETS] [The constellation, 'Weaver of Stories' is staring back]

I do ask why you seemingly avoided the question. Which would you choose to abide by on the fringe cases, the letter or the spirit? Think about all the times Skybreakers and Windrunners clash in SA. I think that is really the big divider there. Yeah, the spirit and the letter say 'dont murder' but in the fringe cases where they don't neccassarially agree, which would you choose to abide by? See, I understand that, but again, sometimes they conflict. Then, which will you choose?

Well. I guess I formated my point confusingly. My point is, no set of man made laws are perfect. They can't be. You agree with me on this. But the intent behind it, I would believe at least, is less imperfect. Ideally, the intent behind the law would be a good one. But my point is, what if the letter of the law leaves way for a loophole, while if you merely interpreted it with the spirit said loophole would not exist. The 'technically legal' stuff.
-
Well. Often, they do. I would like to point mainly at petty criminals and billionaires are prime examples of the letter of the law and the spirit of the law failing. Are billionaires evil people? Yes. Do petty criminals go against the law? Yes. Are those 2 things the same? No. I understand you. I get how you think that the humans interpreting the law are always in the wrong, and never the law, but I find that view to be flawed (And very religious, but I digress). The law is imperfect. There is no good, official way to say 'these people deserve jail/punishment, and these don't' and not make anyone angry, or spark up debate. The spirit of the law is punish bad things. But in practice, not only do people get away with bad things (completely legally) or people get punished for doing nothing wrong.

Hello, and Welcome to The 17th Shard. It's called that because the 17th Shard is in fact every single person on this site, sharing one mind! This increases both cognitive ability and schitizophrenia levels! And I too am a Minecraft nerd, I'll have to check out the minecraft suite. Do you like Dragons? Do you like Wayne? What Radiant Order's oaths resonate the most with you and which Order's Surges do you like the most? What Twinborn Combo (Compounding and non) are your favorites?

Ok! Crazy. ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME Yeah I also don't like the test, but for different reasons. I think that one is like, when they conflict. If the spirit of the law and the letter of the law conflicted, which one would you choose? Aren't we all? And I'm a Truthbonder (Combo of Truthwatcher, Lightweaver, and Bondsmith)

"Yeah. I hate that it is such a good book. And I hate that he makes such good points. And I hate that he is so right. Because he is a terrible human being whom I do not wish to agree with." "Oh yeah, it was a book series..."
