Certified Gay Disasters
CoderDrag0n8 replied to Delightful's topic in Social Groups, Clans, & Guilds
By that logic, Earth benders are cooler because they have the least likely chance of getting bending. And Dragon is a good point, I would just feel disapointed if I got to the fire nation, didn't get bending, and got stuck with a pretty tyranical government -
whats that

Like immortal but can be stabbed to death old age = never and also, fire bending is secondary to air bending obviously -

im here wait im not a Bicycle Im a Arow! Quick, someone find me a Quiveer Fun Fact: Kyoshi was amortal, and amortality is an Earthbending sub-bending type! And I made a spreadsheet with every (at leats that I could find through the shows and some of the books) sub-bending types, and the 5th one which means it is highly likely there is even more than just 5 because of the lore implications of the turtle islands being able to give more than one, and how the avatar could theoretically devolve into a pokemon trainer, trying to catch all the bending types with Raava I like your new PFP! -
If you had to choose 2 Radiant Surges (Like, not Gravitation and Illumination, per se, because they aren't a radiant pair) which would you choose? What Radiant Order do you find yourself connecting too the most?

People Who Like Reading Webtoons
CoderDrag0n8 replied to CoderDrag0n8's topic in Social Groups, Clans, & Guilds
I think I read Star Catcher, but if I remember correctly, the author/artist also made Spontaneous World Shifting, which is one of my favorites! -
Thanks! uhhhh kinda the people who i kinda thought hated me from other places but now i realize don't really? also i am very socially nervous so that too Thanks That makes a lot of sense, thanks Well I guess sometimes I'll interact with people and think they might hate me but i guess I was reading a bit too much into that. Thanks guys *hugs* Well basically I haven't been doing so good I have a phone addiction and I think its been getting a lot worse Im pretty sure I was depressed and almost certain i hate/hated myself because I wasn't doing my schoolwork sometimes And it doesn't help that I am taking 2 AP classes with AP Test season coming up soon And so I would get overwhelmed with how much stuff I had to do And I would end up reading webtoons on my phone from getting home from school to dinner And whenever I spent time on my phone instead of doing schoolwork, i would beat myself up about it, but that still wouldn't be enough to get me to do my schoolwork. And my friends aren't that great with emotions or communication, but I would have fun playing minecraft with them But I couldn't even do that because I was feeling to guilty about my school work And I only really recently recognized this And I didn't really have anyone to turn to And I don't know how to study And I also can't delete webtoon because there are a bunch of webtoons I am genuinely dedicated to seeing how they end and I wouldn't want to permanently cut myself off from the books But how do I know if that's just the addiction speaking and it also seems super logical and I don't really know anymore

When Does A Comet Become a Meteor (Epic Edit but it's words)
CoderDrag0n8 posted a blog entry in Gasp coder is writing now??
Odysseus’s face flickering in and out, different points in time, the background always changing, his face remaining the same. When… A wall. Odysseus being stabbed in the back by a strange figure. It disappears, the wound gone. Does a comet… A baby descending from the sky into Odysseus’s hands. Become a meteor? Odysseus dropping the child from the wall. When… Odysseus shouting his name at an injured Cyclopes. Does a ripple… A bag being opened, a storm escaping. Become a tidal wave? Poseidon destroying all of Odysseus’s ships but one. When… Odysseus’s last ship sailing into the underworld. Does a man… A prophet, blocking Odysseus’s path. Images of the future and past flashing back and forth. A wounded god, lightning striking a boat, and a room full of the dead. Become a monster? Sirens with their tails cut off, drowning in the water. A man watching this all from a boat. Odysseus watching this all. When… Odysseus’s boat floating up to a cave, the entrance to the sea of monsters. Does a candle… 6 men, holding torches to the darkness. Become a blaze? A monster killing the 6 with torches. Their bodies littering the ground. When… A man standing up to Odysseus, a fight. Odysseus getting backstabbed by his own men. Does the reason… A red cow, lying dead on the shore of an island. A boat sailing into a storm. Become the blame? Odysseus pointing at the rest of his crew as Zeus looms above him. Lightning striking the boat. When… Odysseus pleading Poseidon for mercy. Poseidon’s face unflinching, as he continues to command Odysseus. Does a man… Odysseus, using Poseidon’s own trident, stabbing Poseidon repeatedly, until he relents, and the storm clears. Become a monster? Odysseus staring a pleading suitor in the eyes. The suitor, appealing to his good side. The suitor, pleading mercy. Carnage. A massacre. No suitor remains alive. Forgive meeeeee… -
The Curse (The Prophet's Lair Part 2)
CoderDrag0n8 posted a blog entry in Gasp coder is writing now??
The Yulars considered themselves to be an advanced species, the most so on Aerten. Magically advanced, they described a 'curse' as a negative enchantment that cannot be dispelled, except by the placer. So, when they found the simple spell to dispell any enchantment, including negative ones, they thought there were no more curses. They were wrong. Family Kilentall had a hereditary curse. So, when a cocky Sorcerer came over with the promise of healing, they thought they would finally be free. There is a reason it's still called a curse. Family Kilentall and Family Fatidicius were very close families, as the Fatidicius Family were the holders of the Book of Prophecy. The first archaeologist to discover The Prophet's Lair penned that book just before he died. He was the current eldest of the Fatidicius Family. The Family had been full of seers for generations before, the first of the Fatidicius being the very same King that was buried in the Prophet's Lair. Some believe his sight was what led him to be buried there. The Book of Prophecy spoke of the Eldest of the Fatidicius to be the first to break the curse. To survive it. The firstborn of the Fatidicius was my brother, Aiel. Shortly after his birth, I was adopted. Barely 1 year old, I was taken in by one of the most powerful Yular Families. Never have people stopped telling me how lucky I am. I knew I was lucky. Me and Aiel became fast friends, and despite him being told he should be higher than me, he always looked up to me. We were tight as can be. So when he came down with the curse, we all prayed for him, believing him to be the one who would survive. I cried when we buried him. But eventually, I pulled through. My best friend, Aiin, helped me through. One day, she showed up at my doorstep, soaked wet in the rain. She asked me to go to the prophet's cave with her. When she saw me, her face froze, like she had seen a ghost. While we were running to the cave, I heard her whisper something. "The Scar" When I came too, I was still really groggy. All I could hear were Aiin and The Prophet talking. "Please. You have to save her!" Aiin was holding something. A book. A big one. "As much as I respect you for stealling that..." The prophet said, face no longer Aiel's. The scar, however, remained. "Please!" Aiin begged, "The Book... It says that she wont survive if you don't help!" "No. The Book says she wont survive if you don't help. And any who enter my cave get the curse. It is just less hereditary than the natural born curse." "Did you make the curse? Every curse has a caster, after all." "There are many more worlds than this one, with many more magics than this one." "Are you saying the curse is otherworldly?" "Oh look, Jagel is waking up!" Aiin jumped up, and quickly rushed over too me, shaking me awake. I slowly rose up, sitting up straight. "Jagel! Are you okay?" She asked, fear in her voice. As she brushed my face, she whispered, "The Scar" "Hello, Eldest of Kilentall." The Prophet said, looking over. His face distorted, changing back to that of Aiel, "Do you prefer this face?" My stomach lurched as I muttered, "N-No. I prefer you to not use that face..." His face shifted back. "Well. How do you feel with your imminent doom?" "W-What?" He smiled, and Aiin's face looked suprised. "I told you not to tell him that!" "And I think that we should tell him how you stole The Book of Prophecy, read his death, and quickly came too me for help! And then discovered that all who enter the cave get the curse, although less strongly than those who get it through line of descent. In fact, they don't even get the scar! I mean, they can choose to tattoo it, but they usually don't even know about it!" I looked at the prophet. "You seem awfully talkative for a secretive prophet." "Well, as I said, you are about to, well, for lack of a better word, leave this realm forever." With that, my stomach lurched. What I had heard finally soaked in. I was going to die. I fell back onto the ground. "Jagel! Are you... Are you okay?" Aiin asked, fear in her voice. I realized that I wasn't just feeling suprised, I was also feeling groggy. As I fell unconscious, the Prophet said, "I hope your soul can survive longer than your brother's." Aiin yelled out, diving towards my body. "NO!" After I fell unconscious, the Prophet looked at Aiin, and said, "You too. Don't you want to save Jagel?" After that, Aiin also fell unconscious. "For what it's worth..." The Prophet whispered, "I really do want you two to survive." -

I have long been intimidated by this thread, as I am pretty sure many of the people here hate me, and felt out of place within all of the chaos going on here But I really, truly, am not okay.

2 things. 1. That's not how evolution works. Evolution is, basically pavlog's dogs, but with mutations, species, and incredibly long lengths of time. If a mutation does well, there is more of it, it eventually becomes the dominant gene, oh look theres another mutation, hey now there are quite a few different genes and now it's a different species than it was before, isn't that interesting if you want to know more, I suggest looking (and actually looking, not trying to confirmation bias yourself (which isn't a jab against you, humans in general confirmation bias quite a lot, just making sure you aren't misreading my intentions)) for some online (or nearby bio teacher) info on evolution 2. That's not how statistics work. If you flip 100 coins, most likely, they will be 50-50. But they could be 100-0. That's just how statistics work. If it is statistically impossible, that means that it is realistic. The thing about prophecies is that... they're kinda vague... If you make a prophecy vague enough, then someone in the future who knows future events who is reading & believes in the prophecy, they will convince themselves it came through. I'm just saying, prophecies are a whole thing. I also personally choose to believe that if there was an omnipotent perfect god, they would not penalize non-believers, which is what you find 99.99999% of all christian gods (I say this because every single christian I have ever talked to has given me a different version of the story, and so in my opinion, they are each (even if mostly the same) at least slightly different gods. Of course, I am not trying to say that christianity is polythestic (thats a different arguement) nor am I trying to be offensive and I apologize if I am) do, in fact, do that, which I morally disagree with. I quite enjoy seeing these sorts of disscussions & participating in them, so keeping it in this thread would make me happy, please. Once again, I am sorry if I have offended you, @Verdance
