I really loved it! And like the other series I can't wait for next book! I havent been able to find those questions. Are they only in some versions? What were they?
-
I do not think so. If a circle is off in its proportions, there will be weak sections were its not strictly circular. So I assume that even if the box is done with one motion the weakness can still be there because of its geometric form. But the boxes are actually made of lines of forbiddance and not lines of vigor which makes it impossible to do anything other than a straight line and have it working as intended.

You can use the following, just remove the ' ... '['url=link_here']'text'['/url']'

I do not think this is correct but I want to be sure before change it. My interpretation of the conversation in the book is that Kaladin is given command over a number of soldiers that normally is given to a lighteyes of fourth dahn but he still keeps his nahn rank. (second or mabye raised to first). He also has no say over lighteyes with rank under fourth dahn so he is not over them in rank. He have just been given a command usually not given to anyone with his rank and have been excluded from the normal chain of command for security reasons. Any thoughts?

Kaladin is no true lighteyes, he is darkeyes as apparent by his dark eyes, and his darkeyed parents. He was of second Nahn (second highest darkeyed rank) before he was made a slave. He may become a lighteyes if he obtains a shardblade in the future but nothing is sure at that point. My intepretation is that Rock is mocking him. The situation is below. I think that it is most likely that it is possible. Kaladins order is called the windrunners and that suggests to me that they have that ability. In one (fever?)dream he also reams of moving just ahead of the storm and that makes me think it even more likely.

Welcome to the forums! (Why didn't I think of welcoming you in the the first post... hmmm) I hope I did not seem abrupt disproving this. I just wanted to help with the small knowledge I have gathered. Not even the greatest theorisers (I'm far from one of them) on this site is able to keep all of the facts in their head even if they have seen them so the only thing to do for all of us is to learn more. =) Most theories are disproved but it is better to try than not at all. =) This is a good theory when done before reading Warbreaker completely. I look forward to your next one =)

The Lord Ruler found the Lerasium at the well of Ascension. He took one for himself and gave most of the remaining ones to loyal people..

My thinking was due to "protecting ten innocents is not worth killing one" but of course, I am not sure that parshendi is classified as innocents...

If the spheres are made of cracked gemstones, wouldn't emerald be the lowest in value because of that food is what you can soulcast with and therefore crack the most emeralds. The Emerald gems themselves would be valuable, but the spheres made from them would not because of quantity and the fact that they cannot be used with a soulcaster (my assumption).

That quote also makes me wonder about the actions of Kaladin. Are they honourable? He kills a lot of parshendi to protect dalinar and his army. Innocents? I think not! They are here for revenge and have killed a lot of Parshendi. True, they are better than most Alethi, but still.

I had missed that one: An interesting one I must say!

I saw on twitter that Brandon would read an excerpt from WoR at the signing. If you did hear it, was it the same chapter about Eshonai that we have heard before or was it a new one? If it was new, what was it about?
-
I didn't actually see the two pupils in the eye. I still cannot see the eyes oval shape in the first one but I see a greater connection now.
-
I actually see no major similarity between the first two. The only similarity I can see at all is that there are four lines at each side but they are to different. I do not think that there are any correlation between the two symbols.

What Do You Hope/Expect Will Be Revealed?
Binnut replied to Otto Didact's topic in Stormlight Archive
I expect that we will get revelations to all the mysteries in Shallans's past. How did she get her Shardblade? How did she kill her father? If in fact she really did? How did her Mother/Stepmother die? WoR spoiler: I also hope that we will get more information about(Related to shallan): The fate of her dead/missing brother. (Relation to unnamed Shardbearer?) More about the Gostbloods and her fathers involvement with them How does innate soulcasting work? Things not connected to Shallan: How shardplate/shardblades are created. (I suspect Kaladin will be a shardbearer at the book and not by killing one and taking the dropped ones) Why did the parshendi kill Gavilar? Will Dalinar giving up his shards start make him start acquire radiant powers? WoR spoiler: Will Adolin be able to keep his current "girlfriend"? -
I think it has been stated that when Leras and Ati created the humans on Scadrial they created them very similar to the humans they had been seeing on Yolen (and in fact been themselves I guess). That is the reason that they are so similar. (to Yolens humans and to us). When two shards used a "Blueprint" to create the humans existing on one planet I have doubt's about humans in the same form as on the other planets would have developed spontaneously. I would say world-hopping is more likely. Could you maybe worldhop someone else? A whole village/group of pepole maybe? Could a Shard do that? Maybe the Adonalsium could have done it? Or the force it was opposed to? I'm starting to run wild now I think, but as you said, it raises more questions.

Hi! I have on a couple of occasions seen references to that you can get the e-book for free if you have bought the book. How does that work? I'm thinking that searching a e-book would make theorising and speculation much easier.

True I'm studying a lot of math so I'm thinking in terms of Derivative growth. But if you observe it growing linearly between two moments that is close to each other. Could that work? I know that they change size erratically, but for there to be any chance of measuring them it the first place I cannot imagine them to change so fast that its not possible to observe that.

Cosmere stuff? (please no spoilers)
Binnut replied to HemalurgyIsMessy's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I actually read all of Brandons current books before I become cosmere aware. I think there was a mention of Hoid somewhere that I saw before starting to read TWoK but not more than that. That makes it a lot more interesting to read the series again now things as small as a sentence can make you realize connections between books and cosmere theories on this site. -
If a flame-spreen was measured and recorded to be growing with a rate of lets say 1 cm/s in a single instant, would it with time grow to a nearly infinite size? Would it perhaps also need to be recorded to be of a specified size at a specified moment as a reference?

Hi! I just wanted to say hi because i realized that I haven't introduced myself but have been replying to a few posts every now and then. I first found out about Brandon when he was announced to be finishing WoT. Tor was doing a giveaway of a e-book of Mistborn and there it was, I was hooked spiked. Since then Brandon has been by favorite author and I am seriously going insane waiting for WoR. I found this around Christmas forum when i was reading everything i could get my hands on on The Coppermind Wiki and have been reading far to many threads to succeed with my studies (I should be studying right now...). Fast facts: Name: Albin Age: 24 (How did that happen?) Country: Sweden Occupation: Studying Computers at the University. Favorite book: TWoK Random facts: Horrible at spelling. Bad at finding quotes, but good at remembering that "I have read this quote somewhere!" I am overjoyed at finding this forum, and will be spending a lot of time here reading (and posting).

I'm not good at finding quotes, but isn't it confirmed by Brandon that Honor was still around when the heralds broke the oathpact?
